Nope, buildings can't be destroyed. Those Destroyed planets that you saw are planets that were willingly abandoned by their owner. Only exception to buildings being indestructible is when the buildings are on a moon and the moon gets targeted for destruction by a Death Star and succeeds

Noob protection stops at 5.000 points. While in noob protection you can only attack/be attacked by players who have their score like this: your_score/5 < player_score < your_score*5 Example: If you have 2.000 points you can only attack/be attacked by people who have their score between 400-10.000 points.

I think record was 10 attacks also. As for attacks in a day it was somewhere between 40 and 50. :rambo:

I am installing right now. Civilization is the first non-arcade PC game I ever played. My favourite one remains the first, although Civ 3 came pretty close with the expansions. I wonder where will Civ 4 place.

Uhm, why 500k debries? Moons can form anytime right after a battle if the resulting debries are over 100k. It's all about luck. Obviously I wasn't lucky when sacrificing 1600 LF for a 20% moon chance. I know people who got moons at 1%. Lucky Barstewards. <_<

llama!! How's it going? You know, growing llama population and all. Welcome to our friendly OGame corner of the web, although we plan on making it more than just OGame.

A moon chance represents the chance for a moon to form after a big battle. For every 100k of debries lying around after a battle the moon chance increases by 1% up to a total of 20% Sats, just like every other ship, leave debries in space after they are destroyed. That's about all there is to say I think.

Well you can always keep your fleet away while you are gone even if just for raiding missions. But if you think it's not a good idea then move your fleet. A new area means new targets which aren't aware of your playing habits so they can become easy pickings. Don't be affraid of people stronger than you though. As long as you play safe they can't get you. I was probed by lots of strong players and if I would have freaked out everytime one of them would have been next to me I would be in a mental institution by now. So just chill, it's really not that bad.

I tried playing it and... My system wont run it. After that I played it at a friend's house and it's really cool. Definetly go for it if you like shooters or if you never played one go for it if you're interested in trying something new.
