With enchanting, do you mean replacing one of the boni or do you mean upgrading through the blacksmith? I always run 3 upgrades on the gear I want to use for longer. I keep my veiled crystals at around 15 so I can upgrade 2-3 item pieces if needed to. If I have that many, either by finding them, quest rewards or through the blacksmith, that's when I start selling rare gear. Oh and as for upgrading: at the gemologist - or whatever you call that person - you can do the same to jewellery. With the enemies scaling to your clevel so well I find it quite difficult comprehending or to get a feel for the progress of levelling up your skilltree. The strongholds can be quite a pain though. I have two areas open that are I think 3 levels above my clevel consistently (on purpose?). Anyway, jumping in just a sidenote: if we do voicechat my mic might be scuffed a bit. The pop foam was already disintegrating, so I threw it away. Means it might be a bit 'poppier' when I talk with P's and T's.

The weird thing is, he hit *HARD* when I was the target, but attacks towards my minions seemed to do less damage? I had to kite him non-stop, there was no standing still!

Bellatrix, my first character (Necromancer) will hit 50 if I can continue the campaign today. Yesterday I finished a few more sidequests to get all territorial rewards in the Dry Steppes. I ran into a familiar face while questing. I won't spoil the surprise for anyone else but that was a fight that proved quite the challenge even on tier 1. As challenging as it was on the old game? Maybe not but I'm not sure I could have managed this fight on tier 2. Also I've encountered my second bugged quest... Thankfully it's merely a side quest so I'm able to abandon it and try again, which helped me finish the other one.

Same here with work I guess. Spent the evening on Monday with my better half, Tuesday I had a team building session with dinner after so I wasn't home until 22.00 (10PM), and today I had to take the car in for maintenance which meant I had to catch up with work tonight. I'm tempted to jump on for a bit (21.45 here, 9.45PM) but I know I'm not going to get anything done really.

In my head I have always compared game prices to a night out at the movies. If I get at least the hours of fun in what the game cost me in dollars/euros, I'm content. I bought the standard game because I don't care about the cosmetics, and since I have no experience with season passes I haven't bothered for that either. Who knows whether I end up spending any more cash in the future, but this is the way I look at the game. And so far, it's doing perfectly fine. And maybe of note: I haven't played DI. Did purchase D2R when it was on sale.

I'm steaming ahead to level 30. I feel like progression slows down when you do campaign quests. 50 already SHEEEESH By the way, had a glitch yesterday where an event kept popping back up. After finishing up, I was just standing still sorting through my gear, minmaxing, when suddenly I heard a familiar scream of a villager. Sure enough, the event triggered again. I'm gonna give that a shot again tomorrow, if it happens. Easy XP.

@Knuckles Oh right that's possible as well. I took that comment by @claudius literally, I had an actual oval area on my map yesterday. The area level is presented next to the area name in the top right IIRC.

Was there a sudden level jump? I encountered a space matching your description where the area level suddenly jumped from 20-21 to 35+ so I noped out of there real quick I have a feeling loot isn't shared after a similar encounter yesterday. But not sure.

Will try to send one out again tomorrow Also, at some point I wouldn't mind trying to get a voice chat going instead of the regular chat. Maybe after trying to change the chat options it will feel a bit better, but I keep missing messages.

I found the difficulty level very inconsistent, playing on vet died once. Level 21 now I think after my first startup of the game. The campaign's a bit heavy on the cutscenes so far. EDIT: do have to say, it is a joy getting into the game with ZERO information. I haven't read any reviews, spoilers, gameplay, kinda just threw my money at big blizz and ran with it. Having fun.
