Thanks alot for the help everyone, I really do appreciate it. Funkilicious, I just grew into the bracers and breastplate you gave me, so now I'm wearing the full set....THANKS! I love how it makes all the baddies turn to gold while I smack them around. If anyone needs anything from me, just yell, my Greed dwarf is like L83 or close to that and has been finding tons of items for all classes (Except Seraphim, dang!!) So tell me and I'll hold anything for anyone that wants. Ari, er...I think the gloves were Kara's Lucky gauntlets, heh...a bit of added MF, I was under the delusion that they would help my Seraphim find sets but of course...she just can't find a thing She's totally useless at finding anything. Maybe colour blind and can't see green! My stumpy little dwarf is where I go for my gear hunting. Of course I'm still looking for Talia-Mel gear...heh, higher stuff is always welcome but at least now I've got what I was after. Once again thanks to everyone who helped.

I have an up and coming Greed Dwarf, I think he has a few bits and pieces. I'll look for you in the game. I'll either be on Silver public server or a private server named EPA if you want to hunt me down. I tend to use a private server when I want to get my head down and concentrate on hunting, also less chance of walking in on a L100 and getting myself splatted all over the place. hehe Cheers

I had this same dilemma not long ago. I ended up going with an Xbox 360 controller for my PC. They work great, all you need is the correct drivers.

And after a short break to eat some chinese food that got delivered to me due to the fact I'm lazy...I'm baaaaaack! I'll be on Gold for a few hours, aiming to hit 70 tonight.

Quick update, I've managed to get some of the Talia set, although all of it is fairly down level so I guess I'm still looking for a little higher, even if it's something I have to grow into. My Eerie mask and shoulders are decent level, the rest are pretty low though, the only item I don't have at all are the wristbands. Looking forward to the 10% Divine damage. I hit my target and got L60 tonight, so I can get to Gold now too....hurrah. <edit> Today on my travels in Arcania, I discovered a few worthwhile items... Golden Harness of the Gods level 67 min level 52 (Seraphim Set) Tadriels Leather Gloves level 67 min level 52 (Wood Elf unique gloves with 3 sockets) Serish wings of lightning level 69 min level 53 (seraphim set) Astrala's breast armor of strength level 55 min level 42 (seraphim set) Arania's Hevanly Garment level 77 min level 60 (seraphim unique) Abdiels helmet of Rage level 45 min level 34 (seraphim set) Serish gauntlets of thunder level 11 min level 7 (seraphim set) Golden belt of the gods. (I just logged out of the game, I'll check the level tomorrow, heh...but I know it's high, min level is like 77 or so) Some things I found today and some items I grew out of....if anyone wants any of that, feel free to yell at me. <edit again> Something else to add to my shopping list is a set of Arhles T'gaw's Wings of the amazon. I know, I ask alot...heh.

Hi, Well as the title suggests, I'm looking for some Talia-Mel gear...mainly Talia-Mel ambitious wristbands and the cuirass of might although anything would do. I have the boots, errie-mask, belt and shoulder guards but all are fairly down level to me, so I'm not quite getting the best out of them. I can get into Silver/Bronze on HC and soon Gold, right at the time of this post my Seraphim is L51. My timezone is GMT, I tend to be on and off anywhere between 12 noon and 3-4am GMT. heh, yeah, I'm a late night person. Sadly I don't have alot to trade, mostly I give away anything I don't need. My account name is VirukEPA and my Seraphim's name is Arryn, mostly I'll be on Silver public server or on private when I'm feeling a bit antisocial and want to get my head down and hunt. Heh, sounds like my build just now Ob. I hit L51 last night and just said "to hell with it" and took Agility. I was highly tempted by meditation but since all I really use is RBoL and SoF with the odd CL on bosses, I *hope* I went for the right choice. We'll see when I get into Gold/Plat or so, If I did screw up I can always restart.

And I can always cast SoF as a combo and RBoL naturally so I can cast both at the same time instead of waiting on one to regen to cast the other. Or set both as a combo and carry concentration potions....either or. Since I'm still fairly early in my build, I've not had to use SoF for anything other than dragons yet, but I know I'll need it later on, just now I'm concentrating on RBoL runes, trying to get it to a 120 sec duration...once I hit that target with RBoL I'll dump a whole lot into SoF. While doing SoF, I'll dump some into Light too, just for undead Like alot of people say in the guides, I'm not putting alot into CL, I think just now I only have 7 or 8 runes in it, I'd rather cast 4 or 5 of them than 1 powerful one...and it's good for tough mobs or dragons and such. I'm about 90% sure I'll go with Agility, I'll find out what one I click when the time comes. Thanks to everyone for the help, I'll owe y'all a beer.

Almost L40 now... I have to admit although Meditation looks nice, I'm leaning more towards Agility just now. Seraphim have fantastic attack but they don't have any defence buffs...except light shield technically, I'm thinking Agility will give me that extra bit of defence needed to fight at the highest level like VoT and Hell's Ridge. I'd like Meditation to cast Celestial Light a bit more often but not dying is my main priority..hehe I'll probably go with Agility when the time comes...but I'm still not totally decided yet, blah...I hate having so many good skills to use and only being able to take one. Oh thanks for the replies, gives me more to think about

lol. I'm still thinking honestly, not about what clan to join, there's only one I'd want to and that's this one. I don't want to join just to be in a clan, I've always taken these decisions pretty seriousley, heh...doesn't sound like a game here does it? I know there's lots of good clans out there although mostly all I've seen in my adventures in HC so far have been Dark and DA. It's like...I don't want to join and find out a couple of weeks down the line I lose motivation for the game or just vanish. Heh, I've never really joined a clan before either, I've been the leader of a big clan in a small game for years, it's just a big decision to make for me I suppose.

Hmm, Meditation is something that didn't really occur to me. Blah, now I have 3 things to think about, I hate you Agility adds to attack and defence, sword lore is for attack and attack speed...and with my 2 prototype swords the chance of critical hit is high, so that's good....but mostly for my melee I use the Attack CA...hmm. Does Meditation affect the damage or the regen rate? I've never actually played a caster character before. If it's damage I'm definetly thinking that would be good, if it's regen rate....it's still an option but not as high a priority as it would have been.

Ok, I'm L30, I only have one skill left to add to my character, I was wondering what y'all think I should use? My skill list so far is... Magic Lore Weapon Lore Hevanly Magic Dual Wielding Concentration Armor Constitution I was thinking either Sword Lore or Agility... Mostly with this build, I use RBoL and Attack for killing the baddies, on the really tough bits I fire off a CL or two and do a little dance of death letting the baddies get killed in the CL and with the RBoL. Anyway, I have 20 levels before choosing another skill, a little while to go yet...but any suggestions would be very welcome, I'm totally torn between Sword Lore and Agility.

Yep, I think we met briefly, maybe for a minute It was either because I dropped (I hate AOL) or my chinese food arrived. I've not really spent much time on today, been on and off a little, been mostly messing around on SP.

Hmm, Another thought. I wonder if I could talk my gf into dressing as a Seraphim for Halloween when the time comes She's not blonde, we'll need a wig. Bah, I wish I hadn't had that thought, I bet I get yelled at when I ask. lol Wish me luck.

Hey everyone. Usually I play Sacred online with a friend, he's not been around so I've probably not been working so hard on my characters as I normally would, been thinking about things a bit more. Since I started my Seraphim, I've got a bit of a thing for them, been testing out some builds, partly from guides, partly from my own experiences, in HC I started a pure melee Seraphim which isn't bad...but in all honesty it gets a little boring, just click click clicking with the odd use of a CA, allied to that, mostly in RPG games I don't tend to go casters, I'm not too sure why, most of the time they just don't really fit with my personality. Anyway, to cut a long story short, since I was a bit bored today, I build a hybrid Seraphim in SP, just to run through the campaign and frankly I loved it, Celestial Light is far better than I expected, I already know RBoL was good as I used it in my old Orla Seraphim build and I'm still to try Light because well...even on SP she is still a baby and I've not got the patience to cast duration spells every 30 seconds, lol. I think I'm going to restart my HC Seraphim and build it like I built my SP Seraphim and see how she goes in MP. I'm sure she'll do well, I do have a bit of a bias for melee but using some CL's, RBoL's and Lights along the way. (heh, I just need a hand from someone to transfer gear from my "now" seraphim to the one I'm going to build) I think once I do that, I'll start seriousley working on leveling, my current HC Seraphim is only like L27, cause like I said I've been way too lazy the past while, if I worked as hard as I know I could I'd be in Plat by now Anyway, I'm done babbling, I really should learn not to post when tired, but hey....it helps me think when I sit here and type it out. Oh, I ment to ask, how does a person go about applying to join Dark? I'm not sure...some games you apply to clans, some you get recruited, some you get voted on...heh, I've played too many games in my life, it's too easy to get confuzzled. See y'all in game and sorry in advance if I bug you to hold my stuff while I make that new character.

I got to around L90 with this build and frankly, I got bored of it....it's TOO good, lol There is no challenge, except battling against the lag it causes. I'm starting a dual sword wielding Seraphim on closed HC, got her to around L20 so far. Think I'll be mostly melee, not sure if I'll go 100% melee or not yet, I'm only L20 so still time to decide. Hope to catch y'all in the game sometime.

I do have one question, this Orla spear build is fantastic when surrounded but she is pretty weak when fighting powerful single creatures like Dragons and whatever. I had a hell of a time trying to kill D'Cay, came close to death many times, hehe. Any tips on how to kill bigger critters with her?

Still SC, I wasn't so sure of the build and with all the talk about Orla lag I wasn't sure if I'd want the build but after one hell of a struggle getting her up to where she is, I'm glad of some time of free and easy hunting, hehe. When I was on Silver, I used to take alot of time killing the orc champions in the orc cave where I spent most of my time, when I got some halfway decent armor and my fully fitted Orla spear I dragged my butt to the bear cave and spent time camping there, went all the way from around 47 to around 74 in only a little time. I've just moved up to Gold, I don't like spending time in a difficulty past when I should, the gear isn't as nice and the experience sucks when hunting lower than we should, since I moved to Gold I've not really hunted yet, I'll probably try my hand at the Orc cave first then move up as I get more confident where I hunt. Safer, start low and move up. I'm sure I haven't found all the good hunting places yet but I will, most of my time I spend in the Desert, Orc cave or Bear cave on all of my characters. I've looked at some of the forums, mainly the Sacred one and this Darkmatters one for info and Wolfe's lair website, that has alot of good info too so at least I'm not short of places to look if I'm a bit stuck. I'm still having trouble trying to find higher level Orla stuff, I guess I'm just too used to my Greed trader dwarf finding so much of everything instead of my Seraphim who doesn't really have much in the way of gear finding ability. My plan is to get Arryn (My seraphim) up to L95 and then go hunting on the ole Dwarfy for gear, I have a friend I play with so I can transfer items easy enough, usually Orla stuff is fairly common so with luck I can update that also after looking at all the Seraphim sets I've decided to go with the Talia-Mel set, the 10% Divine damage for wearing the whole set really looks good for me, especally with all the damage Orla gives. Anyway, I babble way too much in my posts, heh...probably cause I post when I'm so tired.

Ok, I decided, this character totally rocks now. After struggling to L45, I was getting pretty annoyed and a bit stuck finding junk gear and the only set items I'd find were not for my class or fairly useless to me but since L45...I've been flying, leveling like a maniac, it took around 2 hours of hunting to get from L50ish to L74 that I'm at now, so my cute little Seraphim is really starting to bloom now. Oh, I've heard alot of people say Seraphim are "supermodels" well, I have proof! Only someone as stupid as a supermodel couldn't work out how to put their angel wings on.

Eh, I didn't play D2 online much, I didn't like the game at all, lol Strange that I like Sacred so much since there are so many similarities too. Only reason I even played D2 was because a cute girl made me. I'm going to keep struggling on, but not tonight!...tonight I shall sleep and not to go bed at some really nasty time in the middle of the night. hehe I know she'll get better, once her attack speed improves and once all the gear I found on my dwarf and kept on my mule kicks in at anywhere between L50 and L95. I have a pile of stuff of different levels that I'll use when I get there. When I get my fully fitted out Orla spear and a few worthwhile pieces of armor, instead of the junk I'm using, she'll fly. I think my next build will be a dual wielding sword using Seraphim, but not till I get this one built up until at least Platinum, I was impressed with my Dark Elf back when I used him so maybe a Seraphim in a similar mould would work good, I'll throw something together in the future. I was pretty interested in your WiDD build, tempted to try that even if I am still fairly new, I'm tempted to give it a shot. Also tempted to try an Ebolt user, they are fun to play with...hehe. Anyway, to bed!

Ok, I'm L40 and getting more and more frustrated with her lack of speed I'm sure she'll get better with better gear but it's just trying to level her that's making me insane! I'm still using basic gear, only found 2 sets so far, a set of Urial boots and Thunder gauntlets, the rest I'm pretty much just using scrap that I find, really not having luck with drops either! Wow, I'm posting my first bitch...lol I'll keep working with her, I can't wait until she grows up and stops being so slow, I can see the potential in her but it's just getting up there that's being difficult. I need something to keep me sane while slowly going round and round the desert, maybe I should catch up on some sleep that I've not had the past few weeks since I discovered Sacred. Ah well.
