  1. You have to use your relics in the correct order or they'll crush you 'fair' and square. Only the fourth is a bit special as he seems to use both poison and magic. I still always used poison relics for him. From my pre IB Seraphin I could do some test : I used a LL %Sword for them with an usual Niokast's set. As it's a Queen of Blade using a 2 handed sword was boring (hopefully I had taken Sword mastery to unlock special modifiers on swords so I had decent chances to hit and attack speed with a 2 handed Sword). After many runs in Gold I gave a try to changing my set for the Celestial (iirc) for the built in %LL in order to use my double Orcish Shock. In the end it was much longer as missing the Niokaste's set (and all the good bonuses in it) made me kill the Guardians much slower than with a crappy two handed sword. From that I coul see that the forth Guardian doesn't do his devastating special attack (say good bye to 80% of your life if you're kinda lucky, say good bye to 100% of it if you aren't) on a % of his life but simply on a timer. After XX seconds he gains the right to do it and ... he does it. I think I had the same elemental resistances with both configurations, the only thing that changed was the time needed to bring him down. For the first one (and 3rd one as they share the stun capacity) it's a stun so you can use gear with less chances to be stunned but that's pretty rare. The best thing to do is to aggro them and when they come close to you run in the opposite direction. They will stun you even if you're far but they'll need time to reach you and you won't have to endure them while stunned for long. Another thing is that in Sacred you can pot while stunned. So don't even think of it : you're stunned you get one hit you pot, another hit you pot and that should be enough to be out of the stun and begin to work with your %ll. As since one week now I have IB I redid a Queen of Blade in closed HC. I tried once (twice in fact) the Bronze Guardians and found them so difficults and dangerous that I decided to go to Silver without farming them. I had top relic for my level but I had an heart attack every 5 seconds and the fight was very long. Definitly not worth losing my character. As she's low level she doesn't have Sword Mastery (and will prolly not have as her goal is to go with dual Kaldur) and oh my God ... using a 2-handed sword without mastery is a pain. You attack once every 2 or 3 seconds and got something like 30% chance to hit even with not too bad gear ... I'll do some more runs in higher difficullty when I'll get better equipment and if possible a Kaldur or two ... damn stupid orcs drop me that weapon to change my life ! ^^
  2. Furian is right DB : the term 'Iron Man' in an RPG/Action RPG refers to a character who will equip himself and level all by himself without 'using' any other character and help from your other characters or from any other player. That character has to do everything alone, it's like the RPG version of an hermit
  3. No, in order for the game to be 'fair' to everyone you have to run the lastest patch version to access a closed game. That's the same for every game in the world
  4. That's it. The Free mode is only when you create a new server. You'll be able to choose a name for the server, a password, the number of players allowed in it, the difficulty and the game 'type' : campaign (default one), free mode or pvp. You got to change it each time you create a new server.
  5. Thanks for the correction on Kal'Dur being an Unique and not a Legendary item. I guess that's part because the pic of it on the wiki show it a little orange (due to the user's screen settings) and because that weapon should have been a Legendary seen its stats. Anyway I'll stick to the Guardian for some times then, untill I got bored and rush my way to the Platinium version of them (I'll prolly be level 120 at that time and Plat shouldn't be too hard ) Gratz for the lucky moment DB, enjoy it as usually those moments are paid heavily later Hoping to get some screens to put here, even if I guess that there are nearly no Legendaries missing to the wiki by now.
  6. Hi everyone and thanks for all the precious informations I got from here As there are tons of topics about loots it's not easy to find in which one to post, so I'll choose this one to bring me luck about Legendaries. I'm playing a Queen of Blade in SP. She's level 98 in Gold. Yes, I kinda abused at Orc Cave I think, but that's not really a problem. I camped Orc Cave for a looong time and enjoyed it, not too difficult (even if I flashed red from time to time, as those boyzs can hit for really hard) and after looking at many topics I decided to try the Guardians as they seemed to be the best chance to get Legendaries. I rushed to them and I gave them some tries. First it's definitly harder than orc as those things (the 4th Guardian in fact) was able to remove more than half of my HP in a single blow (10.5K hP) while I use the right relics for each Guardian (Arcane, then fire then frost and finally poison) and died once because he did hit me twice in a row without me having the time to press the space bar for a pot. I lost my survival bonus (yes I'm playing Softcore hopefully for me) so they are at my level +2 now instead of my level +12 like they were. But after some runs I'm thinking about going back to Orc as I'm getting more xp at orcs (2 or 3 time more) and more fun as there is no need to restart a server again and again, no need to run to the boss for 3-4 minutes killing the annoying trashs mobs on the way, etc. In terms of drops the Orcs give me around 10 uniques/sets per hour while it's something like 1 per hour at max for the guardian (before losing my survival bonus to be precise). So in term of fun, survivabilty and drops Orcs are far above Guardians for me. But the question is about the Legendaries : can they drop them ? I think so as I saw someone saying he had a Kal'Dur Legacy from a normal orc (damn that's THE thing I'm looking for for doing seriously the Guardians, as I got to use a rare two handed sword at the moment and that's awfull) so I guess they can do Legendaries. Of course they got less chances than a Quest boss, but if the difference in Legendaries/unique is the same, as Orc give me ten more Uniques/sets than Guardians should I guess I could get more Lengendaries from Orcs in the end ? Or the Lengendaries' drop rate is so low at non-quest bosses that Guardians will still be the best chance even if they drop less uniques per hour ? Sorry for the pretty long story and hoping that my wall of text was understandable, being French doesn't help about that
  7. Thanks for the work on this guide. One thing I'm wondering : you're keeping the CA at level 1 by only eating 1 book to 'discover' the CA and never learn another one again ? You only level it by slotting runes in your equipement ? As it any influence on your main CA cooldown when you learn another CA ? Can I learn every CA that I won't really use to level 50 without it increasing the cooldown of the other CA ?
