  1. Heya, Pump Ancient Bark for all you've learned... nothing works better than a few hundred runes into this. The armor of time has some nice spectral armor and a high armor value. Defensive skills: Constitution, Armor Lore and Combat reflexes. Too bad the Dryad has no toughness eh Damage mitigation.... as far as I remember for Dryad, this spawns on shoulders and Body armor. Mitigation is calculated first, so that takes a chunk out of your damage. Goldenglade touch.... use whenever u are (or think you are) in danger. Duration is not that long, tho the regen is awesome. Hope this helps a bit Greetz NB. -Check Dobri's guide to demi-godness -Putrescine's Dryad guide -Soldats Damage Mitigation guide .... had I more time, I would add the links... someone else might... before I get back you rock thanks much am going to set up a nice acute mind/gg touch combo for the little mrs as her emergency button
  2. have I mentioned that any dryad tips would be welcomed? maybe some how not to die tips too
  3. ...and that's when I realized that pasta could be used as an aphrodisiac. I'm guessing that there isn't much baseball discussion on international forums.
  4. thanks for making this forum, gentlemen. When I played TES Oblivion, the fact that I was playing on a console relegated me to second class citizen status quickly and I was often denigrated because I could not mod my game. Granted the denizens of their community could not demean me better than I could demean myself but the impetus of my verbosity had thoroughly confused them and they took turns not helping me when I asked questions about Oblivion. After I beat Oblivion repeatedly on my PS3, I went back to the Gamespot forums to encourage the elitists to pull their lower lips over their heads and swallow. I appreciate this Sacred community that much more after the negative Oblivion experiences.
  5. my wife and I tested this out. it seems to look at the stats of whatever is equipped and if the game things you have not equipped the best one in your inventory, it sparkles. There is an autoequip thing too that doesn't seem to do that well in my hirsute opinion. I'm wondering if its going by price or item level.
  6. Last night, my wife and I were all set to start a gaming session. She started out and immediately got attacked by a bajillion undead. I was trying to get in the game, thinking that the game might pause... no it did not pause while I scrambled to choose my username, give blood, identify that I am an Ascaron citizen, promise I will never EVER dupe, and then come in to the game. By the time I got in, my level 34 Dryad wife had died three times. Of course, the game saves after each death because... So, this is my only PS3 game that will not freakin pause. I have taken mucho damage while having my inventory open, my map open, and having another person come into the game. ---> This is a mini rant and I need not be told to buy a PC because I have 6 PC desktops, 3 PC laptops, 1 Imac and one wondrous wireless router. RE: Game mechanics: Am I the only one concerned that this game won't pause?
  7. no had a friend make it when I was doing Battle For Middle Earth game online many years ago. don't worry I won't suddenly matter with this sig.
  8. exactly years ago, I was trying to find an unique username for the internet "Hiram" is from Hiram Maxim, the inventor the Maxim machine gun Sedai is from the male aes sedai that went mad, were hunted and stilled and/or killed hsedai is just a shortened version my dear wife calls me "dang Mike"
  9. Happy birthday mister/miss Dobri I don't alway know the gender of you wondrous people. I might try to look under the tail but, since I remain beneath notice and almost brand new, I shall strive to be seen and not heard...after I wish you a happy birthday mister/miss Dobri. May your birthday gifts have multiple sockets and be a set item that you've always wanted. May your inventory not be too full when you get your gifts so you won't be forced to empty your house and destroy things one by one after checking their prices. May random neighbors not follow you around asking you to help them with quests that are 40 miles away.
  10. I simply can't mount AND play at the same time, gentlemen. I guess I'm simply not coordinated enough. My dear wife and I are both at level 34 and have relied on Cap Hunter and Tactics for damage. The PS3 forcing us to stay still for so long while casting is getting a bit annoying. During a stage boss battle, everything slows down so much that I get frustrated with my Dryad not moving fast enough. I go to cast vines/lances and stand still for 4 seconds. ~le sigh~
  11. I live in the mountains of Eastern Tennessee (thats in the US) we have no local pizza delivery. I have to drive for 45 minutes to find civilization. thanks for the tips, mister Blender
  12. I got most of my runes from my dear wife's inventory when I asked her to bake me some cookies and then I got a few handfulls of Sinister Predator runes from her inventory. I gave her a flaming bow so she couldn't tell.
  13. how many runes can I get for a slightly soiled pair of Iron Pantaloons? I was running away from a dragon slowly in them and crying like a little girl.
  14. okay, I live in the southern US but cannot speak Canadian accented German. I'm playing on the PS3, so what expansion can I get?
  15. Gentlemen of the Darkmatters Forum thingy, We all know that the Sacred Wiki is the essence of all that is good in this world. There are a few of us who don't matter but live in the shadow of greatness. We scamper around waiting for nuggets of wisdom from a mister G. Blender. We also worship at the altar of a demi-god knows simply as "Knuckles" Following both of those gentlemen around while making sycophantic cooing noises (like lovestruck pigeons) has yet to increase my stamina, virility, and mounting acumen thus far and I find this to be most disconcerting. Therefore, the only missing ingredient I can think of is sig pictures. Notice that the titans that bestride this forum and create "builds" have wondrous avatars and sig pictures. They matter. They are the ones who give advice and matter with an exponent. I can do naught but tremble in abject consternation at the fact that my inept Dryad will never reach Niobium unless that difficulty has special ed parking. Please know that I am a myopic, mouthbreathing PS3 playing miscreant so I am the equivalent of a serf in this caste system. So, should I get sig pic or just go play in traffic? *Please advise/admonish accordingly
  16. interesting build for my voodoo dryad wife. However... am noticing a trend on our PS3. When either of us stop to cast something ie Vip Disease, Totem et al, we have to stand still for a few more seconds. While that is happening, the enemies are swarming and making us bleed alot granted, my dear wife's character bleeds a bit more because she doesn't have the Ancient Bark and I'm trying to remind her to use her Voodoo Powers more... still, interesting build.
  17. my userid hsedai is short for "Hiram Sedai" yes, I'm a fan too
  18. Mac OS X - The Missing Manual
  19. ha thats better now I knew there were a few more peoples running around this place! Thanks for the mo better welcoming folks. Now, we need to work together to help me play my Dryad better and stop my dear wife from always leveling up before me.
  20. Thanks for noticing me! I would also like to thank the other three people that welcomed me so very warmly. I tingled a little and almost mattered for a second.

  23. meh for me its the first major Co op RPG I've played with the little mrs barring the Champions of Norrath, Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance etc games. She and I used to play everything on networked PC's and life was simpler Back in my day, the men were dwarves and so were the wimmen I am not a console gamer at heart, but I bought Sacred II for the PS3 because I have 6 PC's and one mac. Only one of my PC's would be able play Sacred II. I don't have to upgrade or patch anything manually with my PS3 version. yes...I know...no modding for me...I don't get the nekkid ladies on my PS3 version. ---Remember that first warning? Are you sure you want to cross that bridge, Amon-Shi?
  24. no thanks on the fantasy football, Mister K my Eagles just hired a dog killer and I'm boycotting the NFL for a bit.
