Does it matter if I get level 1 in all combat arts? I remember in Sacred 1 if you got to many combat arts, the drop rate decreased. That may not be the case here but is there ANY penalty at all for learning all your skills at level 1?

uhm... IMO there is no penalty for getting all Combat Arts at level 1. And.... Sacred 2 being the rune consumer it is, I really haven't noticed anything strange in drop rates.

 

So if you ask me..... no. It does however seem that runes are best amassed in Silver difficulty.

A dev posted back around the release of Sacred 2 that rune drop rate was not controlled by number of runes read/in inventory. So there's no penalty to reading as many runes as you want, at least as far as drop rate, regen is another matter.
