Energy Pistol Best for Which Class?

Since I found a nice one hand energy gun with many sockets and things like + ranged weapon lore, I wanted to make a ''gunner'' with shield but since dryad cant use guns, what char should I create for it?

ser is sick with a pistol just use battlestance bfg buffs and pelting strikes with a good amount of regen per hit/sec I always keep mine at about the same amount the CA regens for even though pelt strikes leeches for each hit, just depends on hit%
