Ryanrocker 200
Hey all, thinking about giving the TG ANOTHER shot over this extended weekend. I've made 4 and all were fails So...I will present my proposed build and hopefully some of our experts (or anyone for that matter) can shed some light on if this build will be successful, and if they have any proposed changes. Barristan 14
Heya, got the same build planned. Have been waiting for extra slots with Ice and Blood. I would take another setup, for I find the Area of Effect TG pretty weak in the first levels -Tactics Lore -Concentrattion -Devout Guardian -Armor Lore -Source Warden Lore -Source Warden Focus -Constitution -Warding Energy -Toughness -Combat Discipline This way, the first levels are easier, using Battle Extension (idle) to kill fast. Preferably mounted. Havent really looked at modifications for Source Warden yet. Looks like you're going for more damage and longer duration. Devout Guardian looks solid. Anyways, that would be my setup. Overpowered Combo Charged Grid > Fiery Ember > Deathly Spears Good luck and have fun Greetz Link to comment
Ryanrocker 200
Thanks for the response Barristan I read some info written by Tapir and Zin on the SIF and am now wondering some things about the mods. For T-Energy Shroud the Recharge mod doesn't seem to be very effective in the higher levels, and am wondering if I should still go with that. Also, the Fiery/Icy gold mods: Can't decide if sustain or conservation will help me in the long run Link to comment
chaosholm 0
I've built this TG with (basically) great success... at level 121 these are the stats: Str=454 Sta=393 Vit=362 Dex=418 Int=417 Will=364 Sword Weapons= 80 (159) Source Warden Lore= 85 (116) Armor Lore= 85 (111) Enhanced Perception= 10 (94) Source Warden Focus= 80 (140) Constitution= 15 (41) Combat Discipline= 11 (37) Concentration= 80 (112) Devout Guardian Focus= 75 (106) Tactics Lore= 5 (85) (My only regret is Combat Discipline as I only use two CAs at a time.... which I found out too late of course) CA-mods: Battle Alert (Combat Alert upgraded to buff) level 91.9: Defensive, Repair, Permanent T-Energy Shroud level 92.4: Derogate, Reduction, Reflection Primal Mutation level 102.6: Combust, Mutate, Demolition Fiery Ember level 98.6: Incinerate, Frost Protection, Energy Efficiency Icy Evanescence level 96.5: Icy Needles, Fire Protection, Energy Efficiency Untouchable Force level 101.4: Fied Damage, Paralyse, Field Damage My regen (bottom of inventory screen): 92.1 % I use a Boneslicer level 126 with Lord Wayne's Wild Rage-socket: All CAs +5 Chance to disregard armor +16.1 % Chance to halve regen + 22.5 % Conversion dam to magic 57.9 % (not very good I know...) Offensive Skills +16 All Skills +4 Attack Speed +22 % I use Primal Mutation and Fiery Ember or Primal Mutation and Icy Evanescence as my two only CAs (hence the annoyance of Combat Discipline) - and at my level - they're amazing... If I could change, I think I'd go for Damage Lore instead of Combat Discipline to increase damage to bosses - and by now most bosses are fairly easy... And I know that a lot of people don't like Enhanced Perception, but I think it's ok - at least I get plenty of stuff (have app. 500 mill and have to sell out from my casket almost on a daily basis because I find so many good items) A good build and very easy to use... :-) Link to comment
