I have been playing DDo for around 3 months now.

And still like the party funn in it.

I found a cool guild with mostly US players, but they do lots of guild party & raids.

Having countless hours of fun.

I made a video or 2 to show you.

Cult of 6.

Tempest spine Raid.

 

Its free to play or pay 2 play.

Free to play have to make alot of quests on hard difficulty, to make honour points.

Honour points gives you ingame store points, that you can use to buy the area expansions p2p have.

And free players have to get a stone from loot to get from level 4>5 and 2 other times higher level. Besides that F2P are level 18 max.

 

P2P have all areas , though some requires a quest or a quest chain done to enter. And level max are 20.

 

Theres monthly expansion / weeksly server-update.

And soon level 22 cap instead.

 

I made both videos somewhen in november, I think ( ROFL ).

Earlier today I joined a random 12 player group.

We made level 18 devil raid - Vision of Destruction.

Random party funn, shows what I love about this game.

1: Is it based on the official rules? if so, What ruleset?

 

2: Is it based on Dices?

 

3: Is it open for multiclassing?

Hmm not shure exactly what edition rules, Remind me alot of AD&D2´nd.

Ya its dice roll based.

And you can multiclass.

Post about Free 2 play DDO on DDO forum.

 

About what quests are free, what points you get for them.

What pay 2 play areas cost in earned points etc. to unlock.

Like: Reavers refugee, Vale, Menechtarun, Amrath and alot more.

 

Well back to hoping Thelanis server isue got fixed, or make bananacake.

I bet the cake wins.

Update 5:

Update 5 will rebalance the 2 hand fighting & 2 weapon fighting.

Add guild airships, guild items, guild bank, guild merchants - and give acess to position guild airship at raid areas etc. All unlocks depending on guild level ( 1-100 )

Add new prestige classes for monk , and tier 3 of most classes prestige line.

 

Mostly this reballancing ( nerf ) will hit 2 weapon fighters loosing around 10 - 20 % dmg - depending on build.

 

2 hand fighters will loose weap proc on gracing blows, meaning all mobs surrounding what you hit.

 

Testing and replying in servey program on lamannia test server.

Will be back on Thelanis monday or tuesday.

I am mostly on my monk:

Bruized Lee.

Making him into a 40 point build, need to true reincarnate myself 4 more times. That will every time add 2 more points to distribute as a level 1 into base stats.

Reason a monk in DDO need high: Str 17 - 18, dex 17 - 18, con 17 or 18, wiz 18 preferably - since wiz adds to AC.

But monks are special and all their skills are available only from base stats >>> not stats + items like all else classes.

 

So far level 15 and some in tr nr 1, will need 2,9 million xp for cap this time. got myself into 34 point build and super strong, need tr again cause of update 5 will make monk lower dmg - espacially since hes staff build and no more gracingblow proc - I like procíng paralyce with my staff. But ya it is kind of owerpowered now.

 

All next TR will be super tough & need 4,5 million xp for cap - completionist.

Though offcource no problem - since I got my character bank full of named loot and crafted robe etc for level 5-18.

 

P.S Normal cap for level 20 is 1,9 million xp & 28 point builds. Until your first char hits 1750 favor points from questing: Then you open up for 32 point builds.

P.P.S I have been saving all my store points for reicarnating myself 5 times, since december.

As VIP I get 1 k store points a month, a little carrot for my money.

I mostly use my store points for guest passes for friends and guild for VIP / expansion areas.

So we can do weekend guild raids, with some friends from guild alliance. Loads of EU players moved from Keeper to Thelanis in december and start of this year.
