rnarchlord 0
The camera automatically backs up in boss fights to accomodate the size of the boss but you can wheel in (wheel mouse) the camera much closer if you want to. I have even paused the fight and changed the angle (accidentally when the cat stepped on the keyboard). Link to comment
Llama8 8
I think the OP is refering to the "boss cam" mode, where the focus for the camera shifts from the player to midway between the player & the boss. It's not too bad for a melee char if the boss is fairly stationary, but it's bad for everyone on certain bosses like the Mist boss. Link to comment
Schot 407
Hey there galan. I think this might help a bit. I set my camera this way when fighting bosses. ...The challenge is in the camara work. Which reminds me... one last trick I'm doing for the bosses is that I'm setting my Max zoom very low. Almost nullifies the inconvenience of the boss cam. Options-->Gameplay: Link to comment
locolagarto 15
So you want to zoom out farther, like in your pictures? The the optionsCustom.txt file is the way to go: Here is the guide:Guide to Customizing the Sacred 2 Camera View, OptionsCustom Once you find the location of options.txt (location depends on Windows version) Make this entries into your optionsCustom.txt file camera.cam1_rotx_emax = -1.22 camera.cam1_rotx_max = -0.95 camera.cam1_rotx_min = -0.95 camera.cam1_trackdist_max = 1750 camera.cam1_trackdist_min = 100 camera.dng1_rotx_emax = -1.22 camera.dng1_rotx_max = -0.95 camera.dng1_rotx_min = -0.95 camera.dng1_trackdist_max = 1750 camera.dng1_trackdist_min = 100 This will give you a high tree top look down view Link to comment
Llama8 8
Loco, would that change the boss cam? Link to comment
locolagarto 15
Loco, would that change the boss cam? No, it will actually zoom in a little for bosses. the boss cam can be controlled somewhat with the zoom sliders in options though Link to comment
