Stevo68 0
First, I've been lurking here for a long time. Great site. You guys really are great. To make a long story long, I've had this game forever but never really played much. Then, this week, I totally threw out my back and could only take so much MW3. So I pop Sacred 2 and go to town. And go. And go. My back was out really badly. Anyway, I finish silver at level 50 (is this good?) and now I seem to be starting at gold - at least that's what my start up screen says. But - all of my quests and things are still out there, my little beacon things are lit, etc. How do I restart a game on gold with my same character with all my cool gear but with having all the quests start anew? Does this make sense? It also could be that my son came in with a friend right when I did it so I didn't really get to mess around (I'm thinking I could have hit continue or something rather than new game), but any help would be greatly appreciated. Also - big question - if I like Whet a socket for armor, do I get the bonus to my attack with whatever weapon I'm using? Basically, should I even bother to whet armor? I know I have others, but thanks in advance for your help. - Stevo Link to comment
Sacred-Dryad 0
I'm no pro, and can't answer much, but I know that the Whet from armor still affects your total output of damage. Link to comment
Stormwing 40
Welcome into the Sacred-madness, Stevo! Just like Sacred-Dryad said, it matters not where you smith the Whet, it still affects your Change to Hit. Same with other smith-arts. Dunno really about consoles, but there should be an option to select the next dificulty level in the character selection screen. (Gotta wait a confirmation from a console-whizz tho...) Sacred-Dryad 0
I just beat Silver mode today, and what happened on my PS3 was... I killed the Nameless Guardians, and then during the ending clip, my ps3 froze. So I restarted it and when the screen loaded, it said my character was in Gold. and my completion was 0%. The map is still uncovered the same way you left it on your previous campaign, but your portals/monolith shouldn't be lit. I also had all the quests available again. Link to comment
lujate 578
On ps3, after finishing Silver, start a new game from the main menu and select Gold difficulty. Link to comment
