chattius 2,527
Graphic and sound: nearly non existing Fun, replayablety, complexity: near optimum Price: free http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwarf_Fortress http://dwarffortresswiki.org/ The biggest problem is that it is a time eating monster and you can get addicted to it. You start with 7 dwarves to build an economy, doing trade, fighting invaders, ... The map is 3-dimensional and a good fortress has a small easy to defend entry at the surface and is build mainly underground. Actually it is so complex that the kids play it roleplay wise. One is responsible for food, the other for resources, the other for army,... The game is paused that they give all the commands and then it is running again for a while while controlling for alerts. Anyone else plays or played it? Link to comment
