Sacred 2 vs S1. Who is strongest?

Hello community!

I heard several times already that S1 is better than Sacred 2. How is that? Quests are quite simple, gameworld is large but not very creative.... the reason must lie somewhere else. Any ideas?

For "feeling"... the first game was always the best one for me. It was so fast... look at fireballs from the BM vs Fireballs on the High Elf... right off the bat...that arc looking like a physical projectile from second game threw me off and also gutted my hunger for a super fast projectile game.  The pressure on buffs as I think Flix has mentionned before was very different...made the game much harder and we had to constantly reset them or have friends buff us when we went in against Dragons and other nasty bosses.
