Burnt spaghetti noodles

damn

I forgot about the noodles...this evil forum ...and now an entire pot of the stuff has gone to slime, acquired the texture of something found in a can of ChefBoyardee...and my awesome cool big pot (creuset btw...gift of an ex gf ) has now gotten a whole inch thick level of carbon mass soldered to the inside bottom of it...

Anyone know how to get this stuff off?

I've been chipping at it fer a few minutes now, and I'm beginning to just see a blacked, soot-fortified bottom...but I don't know if I have the time or wherewithal to keep chipping away at this like some rabbit.

Oh Noooo GoGo!!

I have a cool tip....boiling hot water and you know the biological washing powder you can buy?...the stuff you wouldn't have near your clothes?....soak it in that!...if that fails....make a paste out of the stuff and gently get it off with a scourer and the paste....will take time but should work.....

Yeah, soaking things in really hot water solves a lot of problems: Elves, gook on pots and pans, faeries, defense counsel, pixies, you name it.

Ike, what about turtles.

 

Try a very hot (boiling) sailine solution (lots of salt), and a bit of vinger.

Oh yeah, another good use. There are sooo many. Of course with turtles, RIPs and large fleets can be quite useful as well.
