damn

I forgot about the noodles...this evil forum ...and now an entire pot of the stuff has gone to slime, acquired the texture of something found in a can of ChefBoyardee...and my awesome cool big pot (creuset btw...gift of an ex gf :) ) has now gotten a whole inch thick level of carbon mass soldered to the inside bottom of it...

noooooooooooo :hugs:

Anyone know how to get this stuff off?

I've been chipping at it fer a few minutes now, and I'm beginning to just see a blacked, soot-fortified bottom...but I don't know if I have the time or wherewithal to keep chipping away at this like some rabbit.

halp!

:)

Oh Noooo GoGo!!

I have a cool tip....boiling hot water and you know the biological washing powder you can buy?...the stuff you wouldn't have near your clothes?....soak it in that!...if that fails....make a paste out of the stuff and gently get it off with a scourer and the paste....will take time but should work.....

erm How dio I know these things I never burn my pans! :)
