Anyone know about Carob?

Hey guys

 

Anyone got this skinny on this edible treat?

I"m not happy with the info I've found out about it on the net and so am wondering if anyone here has more knowledge or perhaps a bit more hands on.

We're having a bit of trouble getting our hands on it around here and I"ve heard that it's supposed to be some kind of good stand-in substitute for Chocolate?

That make sense?

Carob...ewww I remember trying a carob something or other bar and I remember thinking nah disgusting! Give me the darkest bitterest choci there is made with coco and not that cadbury's stuff we have here thats 0.0% coco and he rest is sugar and stuff!

We used to have Carob all the time as Children,

my sister was not allowed to have sugar, milk, and a bunch of other good stuff.

So I had to suffer

But yeah it is supposed to be healthier for you,

It does take some getting used to the taste thou.

 

You can get it in quite a few markets here,

not that hard to find.
