Looks like your enjoying the new sys there Tim. Man I've been wanting to give some advice and maybe help out a bit but sata is just totally beyond my experience. Thank god for Yarasa and bhj!

the ting is when you are installing xp and hit F6 to install the sata cont driver the only place it looks for a driver is A: (and its quite fiddly to get it to look somewhere else)

 

you should def get it to boot from the sata disks and only use one xp installed (boot from sata cos its the fastest disk and only one xp cos you can very easy get a living hell if you try to use and fix programs with a xp <> xp dual boot (I have learned this the hard way)

 

as for your download speed try to uninstall the QoS (as it do reserve some bandwidth)

my computer > right click on my network places > properties > right click on the "card" you are using > properties > select qos and hit the uninstall button
