Wired - Flexy Motorola Phone Bends in Half, Breaks Our Hearts

The innovative Motorola Z10 is out and it's giving us the bends. The new slider actually features a hinged midsection which bends at an angle when you answer the phone. Aside form this unique feature though everything else about this handset is a bit hard to deal with. The OS is confusing and obtuse while the 3MP camera is woefully inadequate for the video recording capabilities the phone is designed to perform.

It's...neat. However... stuff like that tends to break pretty easily. Hinges on phones, have always been considered the weakest link.

 

Still pretty good looking though. Transformer phone ^^

Oh no, stories of this thing breaking are going to be everywhere when its realeased, and also what is the POINT of a flexible phone, if yo utell people its felxible they'll try to see how much it bends and break it!

Ohh GoD! Motorola!

 

My dad has a Motorola phone by Siemens (he works there) It is just horrible. He always says that phone might be good for Bush's daughter but nor for him! So weird skin and it is just not practical!

 

I hate that!

Motorolas suck, they're always impractical and easy to break...

I'll stick with the other phone makes any day of the week

I like mine it's a pay as you go phone. If it breaks I can just go and get another for about $20.
