Fraps full version, is it worth it?

Is it worth getting the full version of Fraps? I'd definitely use it while I'm allowed to post pics/vids of the Sacred 2 beta, but I'm not sure how much longer I'd be using it after that (and let's face it, that's only going to be going on for a few weeks). I know it's only $39, which isn't much in the grand scheme of things (£20-£25).

It's a very good program Llama and very much worth the price I think. Though as you point out it all depends on how much you use it. If you're thinking only a couple of weeks then maybe just stick to using the free version. There's two things you'll have to put up with using the free version though. A small-ish watermark, "fraps", at the top center of your video and a 30 second max record time per video.

 

I'd suggest giving the demo a go first and see if thats enough for you.

 

P.s.

Gamecam program seems to be rising in popularity and costs less. Might want to give the demo a try as it costs less than fraps.

It's the 30 second time limit that's annoying me, I had a really nice run underground last night that I wanted to capture for everyone, but it's way longer than 30 seconds.

Yes it is worth it.

The fact you can take other types of screenshot as well as better videos is certainly very useful.
