Thought I would drop in and introduce myself. I recently picked up Sacred 1 after seeing r00ster talk about it a lot on the Hellgate London forums and wow I wish I had found this game earlier. Currently I am planning to play through Sacred 1 with a couple of characters. I have played all the classes through the first two or three acts and have decided on the Gladiator and Seraphim. I don't really plan on picking up Sacred 2 for a while since new games tend to be buggy and I would rather wait and play when the game works properly. Plus I get to read all the good tips and builds the great people in the Sacred community come up with

 

Anyways, enough rambling! Great work around here guys, glad I found you all!

Ahh, Rooster with gaming ^^ He's a legend with Sacred, noone builds a better Glad. Sacred really is one of the great games. Free servers, good graphics, amazing build system, and... it comes with a great community

 

Glad you got to hook up with us here, we're a great group of friendlies, and we've even got a few bars around this site with a green fairy who makes her rounds if she's in the mood

It's a godsend that people still try out Sacred for the first time Love it! ;D

 

Althou I'm pretty cought up in the "Buggy" Sacred 2. Which I actually agree with. But thats why we love ascaron eh? Early release. Users make the choices. thats just amazing.

 

 

Also. what Char are you using in S1? just out of curiousity

After playing with all the characters the past few weeks I have decided to dedicate myself to building a gladiator (using r00sters guide) and a seraphim. Right now I am leaning toward a BFG seraphim with a snazzy light saber for backup. I figure by the time I maximize those two and have explored the game, I won't be able to resist the urge any longer to buy Sacred 2. Luckily I am loving Sacred 1 and am enjoying myself exploring and playing through the campaign. I can't believe this game is not more popular that it is, I honestly can't remember the last time I got this much fun from a game!
