gogoblender 3,347 Share Posted June 28, 2008 And I, of course, know so very little about making art, and therefore absolutely do enjoy great works like this. It's amazing how consistantly able you are to always have me asking...What's she/he saying? You get me to ask more, and that's an amazing roadmark for you drawings. Opening up dialogue with viewers is what can really help with your success. Interesting...this last pic reminds me a lot of those masks, you know the ones with happy/sad? I think it's the face painting. gogo Link to comment
TelariTurunen 0 Author Share Posted June 28, 2008 What's she/he saying? Something like "I don't want to be an evil one! No more!" Interesting...this last pic reminds me a lot of those masks, you know the ones with happy/sad? You mean something like that: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Drama-icon.svg ? Sometimes I like to draw things, which can remind those masks. Link to comment

TelariTurunen 0 Author Share Posted June 29, 2008 (edited) I just finished this one seraphim: "Mess with the best Die like the rest!" And what is dragon thinking about? "Another day, another nice chick believed that she defeated me... lucky, lucky me *happy sigh*" I think I should remove those lines on background, I can't focus on the pic^^ Later I'll add new version. Ok, maybe now it'll be easier. Edited June 29, 2008 by TelariTurunen Link to comment

Arrrgh, now you know my secret "... faaar away, on the other side..." edit: And I wanna to tell something about that seraphim's armor. Its name's "Lines of Heaven" and wings are "Angel's Feathers". Noone knows who created it and who was the previous owner of this armor. And the name of broken sword is "Whisper of Damned". Or was. Edited June 29, 2008 by TelariTurunen Link to comment

gogoblender 3,347 Share Posted July 2, 2008 Genius, Telari! omg, these are the best...you never stop surprising me with what you're able to bring out of drawings. These last few put a smile on my face a mile wide. I think something that's really drawn me in is the dragon's eye. Bravo! gogo Link to comment

TelariTurunen 0 Author Share Posted July 7, 2008 (edited) I have here The High Elf Assasin. I penciled this drawing yesterday evening... or this morning? Very early morning. I didn't want to shade her skin, I think it would kill the effect which I wanted to make. This is a photo and unfortunately there's too much light on her hair on the left side. gogoblender 3,347 Share Posted July 8, 2008 Beautiful Again, it's your detail with hair that I immediately see. Hard to believe this is penciled...and just in a day? You must already be getting offers for work now ^^ gogo Link to comment
TelariTurunen 0 Author Share Posted July 17, 2008 (edited) I've got something new today I took some photos when I was drawing this one, so you can see a few stages of my work. 1. We need two pencils - 2B & 8B, rubber and sharpener. 2. Simply sketch. 3. Erease all unnecessary lines. 4, 5 & 6. To shade hair I use both pencils - first 2B, and then 8B (not much of it, if you want to draw light hair). 7 & 8. Shade clothing. Use mostly 2B, only the belt and shadings under straps you ought to shade with 8B. 9. Add some blood and tatoos 10. Add details on face and shade skin. 11. Don't forget about signature! gogoblender 3,347 Share Posted July 17, 2008 Telari, this last installment, is just genius! You've created a kind of mini-tutorial...well done! And the hair on this last girl is awesome. The length of it reminds me of a super-heroine from Marvel called Medusae, who's tresses could capture the unwary. Is this one a Dryad? Does she have a title? Nice touch with the runes. gogo Link to comment
TelariTurunen 0 Author Share Posted July 18, 2008 (edited) Is this one a Dryad? Does she have a title? Yes, that's a Dryad. Barbarian Dryad? Nice touch with the runes. I can use runes as well as normal letters I've got another one, I drawn it yesterday (not even 10 minutes of drawing), High Elf and a little, nasty imp. TelariTurunen 0 Author Share Posted July 26, 2008 (edited) This first one was penciled about one year ago, so it's nothing special. But it's BIG. I mean really big, it was my seraphim poster... about 60x80 centimetres. Two months of drawing And this one, called "Demon Catcher", with Metal Demon for Tomi Edited November 18, 2008 by TelariTurunen Link to comment
