  1. How do I play Sacred 2? I begin with a ritual ... I close all the programs of the computer and I execute the game. I light a cigarette and play in the "Blind Guardian Concert" ... I am literally moving to "Ancaria". I enter the memory of the Dragon Mage that I have 6 months and I delete the cigarette organizing the inventory. In those six months I never stopped the game. Not even on the silver level. I rarely use portals and although I find the mounts legal, I prefer to walk. I'm not looking for armor. Low weapons and armor over the internet. Incidentally ... It is impressive the ability of the game to be editable. In my game I made the following changes. Play it with the CM pach, EE2.1 and SuperSpawn + Challenge Mode features. I also use changes in the zoom of the camera, in the snow leaving the game without it and change a key that practically does not show me where I already was. The map is all released. Because I'm using SuperSpawn I rarely use anything that gives me more experience. And so I simply go into Ancaria and I will explore. I like to solve all secondary quests. The last thing I think about is to make an end to the game. I'm just playing and discovering new places. I am developing all kinds of combat strategy. I set traps, I use the environment to my advantage and I venture all over Ancaria. It became a hobby ... I want to stay 30 minutes and I get 2 hours .... I find the graphics beautiful. A lot of people criticize the strong colors but I loved it. Ancaria is full of secrets alive. The richness of detail is surreal. My biggest wish is for them to make new updates by doubling the world. And look, I still do not know anything about Ancaria. I think the good thing about this is being able to venture into the land of fantasy. I wonder about the spells that the Dragon Mage should have and every time I go to armor it is a process that lasts two days carefully choosing how to fill each armor slot. You're right when you talk about ARPG options being limited. I even tested a lot of these you quote. In them I always felt "stuck", limited. Even Skyrim that I played little more than 120 hours ... As much as everything indicates that he has a world bigger than Sacred ... I think Sacred 2 is much bigger, freer. I like big games. From this idea of being able to venture into a magical world without a rigid goal. Sacred has to do with the "sacrosanct of every man and woman" in being free ... It is much more an artistic work, poetry, adventure than "conquering things". It's far from being a "Perfect ARPG-style game". Because of its complexity we feel that something more can always be done. However, it still meets all my expectations precisely because of this freedom and lack of lineariade. Now let me go explore a sober swamp ... It promises many surprise ... lololol _____________________________________________________ ORIGINAL EM PORTUGUÊS Como jogo o Sacred 2? Nesses seis meses nunca zerei o jogo. No meu jogo fiz as seguintes alterações. Neles sempre me senti "preso", limitado. Ele promete muitas surpresa... hehehe

  2. I know that these topics do nothing but fill the forum, without any meaning. This "quiz" in fact, is not at all different from the previous ones, but it is only their union and refinement. So if you do not have time or if you are on DarkMatters for more serious reasons, do not read on. I chose to ask a few questions, to get bored as little as possible. The purpose of this topic is obviously the one written in the title. Make sure that each member of the community knows others better. In short, it is useless but it's nice. Ok, here we go! 1) What is your favorite color? 2) Name your 3 favorite hobbies. 3) Do you like being in the spotlight? 4) Are you lonely or do you prefer community life? 5) When is the last time you fell in love? 6) Right or Left? 7) Favorite video game? 8) Favorite food (you MUST say: "pizza")? 9) What do other people think of you? 10) What's your favorite movie? 11) Something that make you feel angry? 12) How bored were you from 1 to 10 doing this test? I Oh no! I finished the emojis!

  6. I just officially published my first story. It's really short, but I thought I should at least get something out there. If anyone is interested: https://www.fictionpress.com/s/3335099/1/The-Greatest-Game-on-Earth

  8. Thanks for all the explanations. My math skills are a bit limited when it comes to those formulas, but after reading all explanation some twenty times I think I got it. The string is "entry0 = {"et_mult_weapondamage", 1000, 0, 0, 9 }" so the bonus in the scale will be 1000. So either way it's a huge bonus to the damage output, but marginally different between each scale because one results in *101 and the other in *100. If the bonus would be 10 like in the example above the difference in damage output would be more noticeable because the additive scale would basically double the damage output in comparison to the multiplicative scale. Now if the bonus is 1 like Flix mentioned as a solution, and being that it's an additive scale, it will multiply the output damage by 1,1 whereas if it was a multiplicative one it would reduce it to 1/10. Additive: base damage*(1+1000/10) = base damage*101 Multiplicative: base damage*(1000/10) = base damage *100 Additive: base damage*(1+10/10) = base damage*2 Multiplicative: base damage*(10/10) = base damage *1 Additive: base damage*(1+1/10) = base damage*1,1 Multiplicative: base damage*(1/10) = base damage *0,1 So being that it's an additive scale and that the solution is to place the bonus as 1, resulting in a 1,1 multiplier, having that token active or not is more or less the same since the difference will be marginal. Now have I read this right? Because if not I give up and will wilfully smile and wave every time anyone mentions "replace this entry with that".

  9. Because either way its a multiplier of approximately 100 (base damage*(1+1000/10) = base damage*101 vs base damage*1000/10 = base damage*100. It's because the bonus is so large relative to the reference multiplier (*1) in the additive damage formula. If the bonus was much lesser (e.g. 10 and not 1000) you would see a bigger difference between the output of each formula: Additive: base damage*(1+10/10) = base damage*2 Multiplicative: base damage*(10/10) = base damage *1

  10. I've added a footnote to the CM Patch 1.60 description regarding the "doublehit_attack_ca" bug, and how to resolve it.
