  1. And back here for a little while (taking care of one mental health and rebuilding an entirely new better life is hard work sometimes ... well a lot of the time, but totally worth it ) And yeah, there seems to be an element of luck. Some items, like you, I am trying to force the game to drop ... and it ain't happening. At other times, I am able to spawn a new piece from a set items by simply emptying my bag, and both chests, and only keeping potion and a single element of that set piece. But most of the time, it seems easier for me to get an updated version of a set/unique item I already have using the same technique ( man, I got lucky a few times using that to get the megacarlwen wings par t of the set ... I had an very early version for .... one 100 levels, until I used this 'trick" and voilà!! ). Also, and assuming this trick works of course, it seems easier to get much, much better drop and chance for this to work by completing chain quests, the more quests in the chain the better it seems. Doing several chain quests in a row seems to make this even more likely .... but a lot of it is mere guesswork at this point PS: I decided to take a break from sacred 2 for a while to play a different game .... DIABLO 2 MOD !!! ... oh wait, it's the same game by with the Diablo 2 version héhéhé ... Playing sorceress right now, but still early levels, and still trying to figure out how to play her ... though I am trying something similar to my seraphim here ... though I am trying to have it look like something named "The Hellstorm dynamo" ... basically, 3 combos cast one after the other and with a good amount of attack speed to boot ... adding permanent buff to the mix of course as well as teleport and fire blade for extra utility and defence ... but I am having trouble managing skill points attribution and it feels like sometimes, that I lack a bit of damage and should have focused much more (like say on fire aspect).

  2. I think you guys are a bit misinformed on Deathly Spears. Deathly Spears is a spell, not a weapon attack. It doesn't carry weapon procs and its damage is in no way based on your weapon. As far as I remember the only thing your weapon choice influences is the speed of the initial attack animation that doesn't really matter all that much on a spell like Deathly Spears as long as its not horrendously slow.
