  1. Uh huh... You weren't using the copy-&-paste-while-introducing-a-few-errors-at-the-same-time function were you?
  2. Yeah, I'm also seeing that in Gal 3/2. Still, I've got >100k points now! & I've once again topped rank 100 for research & IIRC I'm rank 202 for score... So, where would you guys recommend that I move to (with lots of inactives)?
  3. That's a lot of fields Gogo! Congratulations...
  4. I personally don't think that the lack of being able to mod Sacred was why the community was as nice as it was. I think that, for some reason, the Sacred community was a lot more mature (not necessarily older) than the D2 community (as a whole). Maybe it's because Ascaron's a lot smaller than Blizzard, so the release (Sacred) was a lot more low key, so it didn't attract the uber-leet playahs that D2 did. Also Sacred was Ascaron's first game in that genre. Maybe it's because Sacred is just so much deeper & harder to master/understand than D2 that it turned them off?Sacred's also longer (I think) than D2, so it's harder to get up to the high levels. Plus we do have a low tolerance for that kind of person. There isn't a "season" in Sacred like there is in D2, so you don't get the rush to be level 216 in a few hours (like you do in D2), and there's probably only a handful of characters/players at that level anyway. True, there will be mods that make Sacred easier & that will "help" bring in players who aren't as skilled, but if Ascaron don't support mods online then I don't think many of them will move over (and those that do will either get better, or leave). Oh yeah, and there aren't any hacks either, so I'm sure that makes the community nicer as well (because those kind of people can't play online 'cause it's not as easy as they would like it).
  5. *hands Claire's daemon a pair of sillicone wing implants* *blinks* Nah, she couldn't have said that... Anyway... There's a whole lot of stuff I want for Sacred 2 (mostly posted in the Sacred 2 forum over at SIF), but a few: Modability More info New posters that know what the Search function is...
  6. #### me! That's a lot of defences... I was going to say what would happen if a Death Star or two (hundred?) came knocking... But what about Destroyers? I know they're slow, but they've got more shield/hull than a Battleship.
  7. Gogo, you could at least spell the word right... http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=sesquipedalian
  8. Hey SQ, welcome & congratulations again!

  10. Mine are likely to be the same as yours Claire, but less northern (and therefore less odd... ).
  11. I don't mind writing presentations. Actually giving them is a whole different kettle of fish...
  12. I really don't have that problem...
  13. Personally? Presenting. Can't stand it. I had to do one at uni in the third year & it was soooooooooooooooo painful. *shudder* Maybe not a phobia per se, but definitely top of my list of things to avoid. Even higher up than work.
  14. Does it? You're obviously lacking the right USB attachments...
  15. Oh yes, Orp is definitely worth it. Not only does it store a lot of info about players/planets/etc, if you've managed to get full (ie tech) spy info from one planet for a particular player, Orp will take that into account when showing you the spy report for any of that player's other planets (so you only really need to get the tech for a player from one planet).
  16. Ooooooooooooooh... I've seen that... I didn't realise that all the data was still there, I just thought it displayed a link to the full report & that was it.
  17. Where's that, 'casue atm I'm doing the Esp reports 9 at a time. Unless it's something you get with Commander?
  18. But inactives don't fleetsave... Gogo, the darkside beckons...
  19. Being risk-averse I've always been into raiding Inactives, it's only recently that I've started raiding a few choice active players. Edit: The only actives I do usually attack are the ones that don't fleetsave & don't retaliate.
  20. This'll plug your hole! http://www.corkqc.com/grades.htm Er, kinda...
  21. To spread knowledge, out-post Gogo & possess everyone else's minds with subliminal text messages. Llama=right
  22. I'm not doing too bad either... Points: 78,723 Rank 248 Research: 110 Rank 141 Fleet: 562 Rank 445.
