Flix 5,116
This one's been in the back of my mind for a while. So I bought a Lost Fusion Mobiculum for my first Temple Guardian. I kept it all throughout Silver, and when I reached Gold, I noticed I had gotten an upgrade! Here he is rolling up to a dinner party in his sweet ride. My Mobiculum now had a snazzy windscreen/shield on it. Only a cosmetic upgrade, but a very cool look. Sadly, later on while fighting the Abishai of Dissension, it was destroyed. When I bought a replacement mount, there was no shield on it anymore, and I've never seen one on any Mobiculum since. Any ideas what was going on there? Was it a bonus for keeping it alive throughout Silver? The one I bought in Gold didn't change when I entered Platinum. Do any other special mounts evolve in appearance? 1 Link to comment
wolfie2kX 528
Sweet! Not that I'm aware of. I'll have to check with the CM Patch guys to find out about this. Are you playing with or without the patch? Link to comment
Flix 5,116
Latest CM Patch at all times. I thought maybe since the CM patch lets you buy mounts from both pre- and post- expansion that maybe one version has the shield but I could never get it to reappear. Link to comment
wolfie2kX 528
No... Can't say I've ever seen the windshield on pre/post expansion mobys.. I've posted a request pointing to this thread so hopefully we'll have an answer soon. Just a thought - do you have the Elite Texture thing installed? But I don't know where..whether it happened to me, or whether it was in a pic that ascaron had put out of the game? Have you tried trouble shooting with the different weapons, or any kind of setting that you had on? Do you have a saved game you can refer to and check settings? gogo Link to comment
Flix 5,116
Don't have the elite texture pack, just the default. I've still got the character but he's come a long way since then and I don't have a savegame from back then. I don't think I've ever changed any graphics settings, and almost definitely not in-between gaining/losing that windshield. No combat arts or weapons changes it either. I'm thinking maybe if your mount gains x amount of levels while you're riding it, maybe something happens. Link to comment
Schot 407
Wow, cool! Is it possible that it's a style from the Blood region trader? IIRC the Blood region sells differently styled mounts from the usual mount island trader. 1 Link to comment

Flix 5,116
Man if it's really something that simple I'm gonna feel dumb.... Guess I'll go check it out and see. Link to comment
Popular Post Schot 407
Nice work Ryan! There's sooooo many things to remember with this game Flix. I'm just blown over by the amount of creativity that went into Sacred 2. We all knock it for it's errors but being away from the game as I have has given me a renewed love for Sacred 2. It's quite unique. Good luck on finding that windshield! 2 Link to comment
Flix 5,116
OK yeah it's confirmed, the seller in the Blood Forest sells the enhanced-looking Mobiculum. I just saw a gallery on another site. In fact, there are different styles for each aspect, for example the Devout Guardian one has wicked looked spikes sticking out from it. This is also true for ALL the mounts of all the core 6 classes, the Ice and Blood mounts have different visuals - and sometimes different names too (Fey Drake/Wind Serpent). Meaning there are something like 7 different entries for each mount and so far we're only featuring 4 on our Wiki So, getting good pictures of them all and adding them to the wiki is now on my to-do list. 1 Link to comment
Popular Post SX255 630
Man if it's really something that simple I'm gonna feel dumb.... Unbelievable! So that’s why there is always a second set of identical mounts. Turns out the regular epic mount merchant also sells them. They are the second set of identical epic mounts. You can get them as early as level 10. Somebody decided to keep the old icons of the mounts and there is no clue about the special features on the second set. So yeah, go to any of the epic mount merchants, list through and buy the second identical mount in the list. 2 Link to comment
Flix 5,116
Yeah of all the upgraded versions, the Temple Guardian got the most epic badass changes. I knew the community patch added all special mounts to both vendors. I guess just by coincidence I've never bought one of the Ice and Blood versions from the Mount Island vendor (whom I always go to). I've seen the "extra" mounts at his shop of course, apparently I don't shop enough there to have tried them out. The exception being the Mobiculum that started this thread in the first place of course! 1 Link to comment
Schot 407
lol. You gotta shop till yah drop Flix. Nice find and much needed addition to the wiki indeed! Link to comment
Flix 5,116
Holy heck. I don't think I'm ever buying a Fallen Angel-style mount again, not after really studying the improvements they made with Ice and Blood! Here's a little taste of the special mount goodness coming soon to the Wiki: Also, LOOK how awesome! This the Lost Fusion Mobiculum with Wardust's Texture Mod, which everyone should try out at least once. Link to comment
Popular Post SX255 630
I think the middle blue one needs a better angle. It has a new double jet tail pipe, which is hard to spot in the picture. 2 Link to comment
Flix 5,116
Yeah, I opted for side-view pics to better match the Fallen Angel ones, except for the Lost Fusion one, because the shield isn't visible without tilting it a little. http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php/Sacred_2:Mobiculum Link to comment

Flix, you did good with this. I was always looking at those pages for months, which turned into years . Reference factor of Wiki is all important, and accurate transmission a motto Dang, this game keeps throwing more stuff at us to document! Thank you gogo Link to comment
