  1. Hi Daniel, and welcome to DarkMatters! Yes, this is an awesome community. I love saying that because it's true, and a friendlier bunch on the net you won't find. Ahh, and an HC player too... so you understand addiction? It's something I live with every day I'm glad you found us, and look forward to your post. We've got a good Intro section here with great topics that new members can post to while meeting the gang. I'll look for you on the HC servers, will be starting a new toon tonight between six to seven pm Montreal time, and maybe we'll be able to hook up. Cheers gogo
  2. Silearth, this is great news, wonderful! I know how long you've waited to be able to play. You must have had a smile a mile long on your face when the beauty appeared in the mail. Love getting stuff in the mail...I'll always remember how delighted I was when Dell unloaded the comp a few years ago from UPC that my parents sent me. Looking forward to meeting up my friend, I'll be in Silver Servers tonight, hoping to meet up with some of our members here, and hoping even more to get a few more levels on the TG for Kami level twenty next week. Cheers! gogo
  3. Hi Mystic, and great seeing your application! There's some great topics going in the Intro section of the forum which you can hit easily and get to know our members that way...great way of warming up to the gang. And as per the pms with you I'll be playing in Silver servers tonight tween six and seven pm so we can level up together and hang. We're going to forward this application internally, and will have a response for you back within a few days after we get the discussion/vote thread going regarding probation with Clan D.a.r.k Sacred Cheers! gogo
  4. How were the HP for him calculated? This is the kill pic which I lucked out with: We had two max parties going at the time, right? So was the difficulty of the gryphon constantly being redetermined over and over again as the two parties were taking turns at hitting him? Did the Gryphon finally have final hp when the member of the party that took the hit on him finally kill him? What if two parties of two different average levels were taking shots at him at once... the Gryphon would spawn a highest permitted level right? Or... does anyone know what would happen here? gogo
  5. Tel, I know that Banshee is actually one of the tougher bosses... I'm not sure why yours came out especially tough. Playing in MP though with just three in your party really brings up the "toughness" level of enemies, specially bosses. I'm not sure by how much of a percentage the enemies get more difficult to kill by, but I will say that for myself in Plat right now just killing with one extra person does increase my experience gained but seems to make it a whole lot harder to kill and be able to land blows! Hopefully someone here will have some more info on that boss. Maybe he's got innate abilities that are especially magnified when more peeps are in a group attacking him? gogo
  6. This is actually a contradiction If it's retained, I guess I'm meaning/hoping that after the Buff has been cast, that the Combat Arts PLUS their regens as modified by the Skills as modded by the Focuses will remain and keep the lower regens on the Combat Arts ever after we swtich slots. This would be the only utility for me for casting from a weapon with all those extra plusses to skills... Zinsho and Brad, a while ago, did convince me that Buff levels do stay, for even if we switch to another weapon slot with fewer buffs on it by looking at Sigma we can see the "retained" bonuses that the casting from the original Buff Booster Slot gave us. I'm just wondering if the regens now from casting with the extra skills give us improved regens and bonuses from the extra skills we had in place when casting from the Buff Booster... would this be the case with skills and regens as well? Would Sigma or any other way of "seeing" convince me that the improved regens were retained? If not, I'm not sure there is any reason for me to stay with casting from a weapon that has a ton of Skill boosts on it if the bonuses they give are not retained after switching back to my primary weapon. So...are the extra skills retained even after we switch to another weapon after casting...is there a way of really seeing this? gogo
  7. Very nice work Epox! Yer almost at having all the skills...that's when the builds get really fun...yer gonna be a menace against the bosses. Back from work early today...heading back into plat...hopefully be able to get another two levels on before heading down to bronze to get my toon up to level twenty for next week's kami. gogo
  8. Putrescine was talking some interesting info on the servers last night, and I'm not sure what was meant...but I'm going to give it a try at seeing if anyone can comment on it if this is what is meant... If I'm holding a weapon Ragno's Slayer ...that gives me a bunch of plus to attack skilsl...and within its gold sockets I place ammies with plusses to all Combat Arts...what happens when I cast my buff...does the Buff cast at the high level AND retain the regens from the focuses that are boosted from the skills? Err...would this little piece of awesomness actually work? So far, I've been casting my buffs from a Desert Saber (grrr...still can't find another Officer's ) and am benefitting from the level CA boost of the Buffs...but how about the skills...would they be retained when the buff is "captured" as it is cast as well..or would they go back down to the level that is being had with my other weapon slot? gogo
  9. Bravo Pyro! Look for me this week in the low levels...I've got a toon to build up to level 20 for this week's Kamikazi, and we expect you there! gogo
  10. woah just caught this post...I'm dang glad you guys are all okay. Spent a bit of time down under while working a few years ago, and couldn't top hearing about brush fires. Deliberately lit fires... I hope they get caught gogo
  11. Sacred Underworld is the original Sacred released, oh... at least four years ago. You could probably get it super cheap online or in stores in bargain bins. It was first released as Sacred Then Plus came which was the free add on. Then Underworld came after which we had to pay for but gave us lots more items, dungeons and two new classes, Dwarf and Daemon. If you get Sacred Gold you get all three rolled into one. It's still a bargain to get your hands on, and worth the purchase of maybe ten bux to see what started all fhis. gogo
  12. hheh, it's like a long train/herd of us running along going after small, lowly kobolds...it's hysterical Brad's let us to the Griffin Guess who got kill! gogo gogo
  13. Oowah, it's busy...come on down peeps and grab yer places! gogo
  14. Bravo Schot, good for you! I know how much this event means to you and it's success from Sacred is sure to be enjoyed in Sacred 2. We've all been waiting awhile now, and it's finally here. As Schot said, the official Sunday Kamikaze is now open... Head on down to Silver where we have gold, runes and mounts all waiting for the participants. Cheers! ggo
  15. awww, Erling...can't you just stick her on your xbox and then come to the kami? I also think darkn'delicious would be a better password gogo
  16. awww, no Tel! We're working hard, hard hard, on that for you and Tomi... Keep having faith in us...one way or another we'll get you into these Sunday Events... We promise you guys! gogo
  17. lol, me too! I just popped out of nowhere and came as a surprise to me too. It's a half decent one for now...I'm sure Schot's going to come up with something awesome for us more... D.a.r.k style! gogo
  18. Welcome to the Weekly Sunday Kamikaze, Jonny! Yeah, all I wanna do is get started right now...I'm antzeeeeeeeeeeeeee did you guys notice the countdown clock at the top of the page? Go Schot Go! gogo

  20. Well, probably having the words "not to work on this page" are kind of against the spirit of a wiki, but I understand the kind of focus one person's vision working on a page "as their own" allows, but it also mars the concept of wikilating and serves as a kind of precedent. So... Erris, who actually has worked for technical manuals for software companies, and who we've known for years now has been accorded Wiki Editor/Admin status. Because of this, we've now been able to remove those words asking peeps not to work on that page, and instead transform it into a "protected" page that only wiki admins/editors can work on. This strategy will allow Erris to work unhampered for a few days until she's done. I've sent Erris a pm regarding all of this, and will ask her to tell me when the baseline work she is putting into the glossary is done, and we can then turn the page over to the public. Regarding content that is being added to the page, let's wait and see till everything is in place, and then we can discuss the relevancy and/or utility of words on that page, that can perhaps be written up as their own articles or changed. Cheers gogo
  21. Hi nkikt, welcome to DarkMatters and enjoy the boards. gogo
  22. Brilliant clock! And looking forward to meeting up ...lowbeez all, this is gonna be fun. Great job putting all this together again, Schot. gogo
  23. Taking a break from Wiki, Put I'm in Plat now with Exigo gogo
  24. I tried the Northern part...but I'm a huge stickler for timing my runs. Having to swig pots is a distraction to me and it's pretty much the only way to take out those irksome undead that just keep coming back over, and over, and over... The skellies are fun to blow up though...probably one of favorite sounds in the game. But after I almost gave up on the Swamp a while back I just kept moving in and made a new home in the South Eastern Corner of the swamp. gogo
