  1. Welcome to DarkMatters genealogymaster! The Christmas Island quest is fantastic... I'm not sure if we even know how long it's going to last... grab it while y'all can. gogo p.s. I've changed the topic title to Christmas Island question and added second line so that this topic can be read and found better by google and others looking to find the quest as well.
  2. Brad, this is awesome. This feature you've added to the wiki adds to it's biggest strength, an entire community adding what they now about something they love doing. I'm thinking that out of the other big game wiki's on the net right now, this is going to be a first... another one for this community. And what's astonishing is how much work everyone with a grasp of different languages has already added. Well done Schot, and sincere kudos to all of the volunteer translators. Thank you gogo
  3. I've created toons in MP just to be able to use their personal inventories. We can transfer via shared, and the stuff stays safe even on level one toons. gogo
  4. Excellent. They read very fast with the way you set them up. these tables are going to be very popular Trust. Good job gogo
  5. I love Torrent's post here from the SIF: "Swamp is THE best area in the entire game (in terms of xp/minute), for any class that can Area of Effect, anyway. Start in the Southern town with the portal and run around in a reverse L shape following the edge of the SE mountains until you reach the watery patches (with the Olm's, Olm's are bad), and then press F12 and port back to the southern town and repeat. EDIT: Picture, red zigzags demonstrate that you can deviate from the mountain a little for mobs. Sorry that it's in French, had to use the boss map." No better leveling area exists in Sacred 2 because of this area's crazy crazy spawn rate. I have gone to all areas in game and timed with fifteen minute increments, and this particular small area is tremendously ahead of anything else in the game. The thing to perhaps do when speccing your build out at the beginning and planning on making it to niob is plan on how you will get your experience at higher levels. If you can spec so that you can take this area out very very quickly, you're set. And if your toons is primarily a close combat melee, then through some trick or whatever...be imaginative and find a way to make this area work for you. Leveling in any other area in gold or above will have you miss out on the benefits of what this zone of the swamps offers. Great map Torrent. gogo
  6. nice work Elestel! I know Schot's probably ecstatic that his multi language coding is working so nicely, peeps are using it. Take your time with the translations if you wish, the wiki's going to be here for a while, and hopefully if others see your work, they will be inspired to follow. And welcome to DarkMatters! gogo p.s. Your post has been started on it's own topic for Spanish
  7. Did you see what it looked like when the cast came off? Gross huh gogo
  8. This sounds good Max. What would suggest is taking or making one of the guides here and getting it going as as a demo. This would show and demonstrate the efficiency of your guide and convince others to use your template. Going through the steps of what has been a guide in the past here...usuallly users just post a guide and that's it. The extra step you're asking for is to have them do it via template so that your tool could reference it and spin it out...correct? For stuff like this the tool's interface will really help. Getting a few guides here that are already posted into your setup will help with getting this going for you, and let us see how the entire concept "meshes" together. Good luck! gogo
  9. Welcome to DarkMatters Blackie. A good number of us used to be heavy into Requiem, but that was while waiting for the release of Sacred 2. What you may want to do is try sending a pm to our member Ganto here, and see if he's still playing it. Cheers gogo
  10. Funny one, thought that trick on the net has made me wince a few times. Flirt can you provide us with a pic? And welcome to DarkMatters Cheers gogo
  11. llama on sif says that this is something different: http://forum.sacredeng.ascaron-net.com/sho...ed=1#post522035 But...reading this got me running to see something that had been on my mind for a while now....and I think I have the answer. Damage Lore's mastery? I think something I socketed gave me an additional +5 to all skills...Yes I know it's not hard points, but distinction tween hard and soft is buggy right? I'm gonna see about raising that Lore again to see it if it works...strangely enough I only got it to work against some olms and I think a werewolf champ. gogo
  12. -I've never seen this kind of damage before...you have? -I'm trying to remember what I did to my build before I tried out plat for a few minutes and saw this damage... the only thing I did was socket two new and nice damage rings, very basic no extra mods into my pipe and go shooting...and that's when I saw this happening. Alas, I took that build apart and sent a good number of the pieces down to my level 82 (that takes forever! ) ...I guess when I get the trader up there, I'll get to have a look at this again. gogo
  13. heh, true...but someone else on sif said they were getting 1300 extra a hit ^^ http://forum.sacredeng.ascaron-net.com/sho...ead.php?t=55852 any idea what's causing the extra damage exactly? gogo
  14. Why am I doing this damage then, and do you know why it would only appear at level platinum? Is it something I've socketed? Or maybe something else? gogo
  15. hmmm, Trust, are you saying that the enemy is doing this damage to me? Or that I have something on that is creating this sort of damage? gogo
  16. Hey guys...as I just made it into platinum and started taking out enemies... I see now something new. A few times now I've seen "Additional Damage" fly out everytime I'd hit certain monsters. Olms. Anyone know what is happening here? gogo
  17. Wooo hoooooooooooooooooo just made it! Finally standing tall and proud at level 100... Yes Schot I can get you your plat runes now for you to socket With four peeps in my party and nine on the server the last two levels blew by. I can't get over how much fun it is to play with someone else right beside you and leveling up together..it completely changes the dynamics of mp. I was lucky enough to level up with another dryad using DA as well. She was ten levels ahead of me and with us working side by side, we were able to clear a swath through the land. There was also a seraphim using BFG...not a bad Combat Art...but still not as fast as a Dryad with DA (Seraphims are so beautiful though!). experience with so many peeps on the server was fantastic. about 4-5 k per spider (And there are packs of these that just keep spawning and spawning) and with olm champions worth 20 k...but boy were they ever hard to kill with this many peeps on. I actually had to get off my mount to increase my damage output via faster regen on my Combat Arts and also was relying on the increase in Attack Speed via being unmounted to keep enemies away from me. The sad thing is this toon has now run ahead of my trader by 18 levels *gulp* lol, I hope when I transfer the armor to the trader down below she can wear it I'm gonna take a break from the gold/plat toons for awhile. There's a lot of peeps here at D.a.r.k with lower level toons, and I figger it's gonna be fun with us all getting to level at closer levels till we all have some higher toons. OKay...who's got the beer! gogo p.s. later on today, I'll make a thread and put up pics of this build. Funny thing is I got lazy near the end and wasn't bothering to replace her equipment with stuff from the trader and I could feel, see and hear her starting to miss. I had to trade out two sockets of damage and stick in socketables that would increase my chance to make the hits instead.
  18. Good question. Wankers, I guess this would depend on how many members of the community opted to get a console. I know it could/would probably be a lot easier running this game from a console as everyone would have the same equipment...easier to make a game this way...and this would help tremendously with Sacred 2 and it's complexities. I guess if peeps here said they wanted to run a D.a.r.k clan in console worlds, we can look at this and perhaps have an officer run the clan for us in another game format so that the D.a.r.kness could be there as well. You thinking of going console? gogo
  19. Trust, just saw this you posted on the wiki: Finally...a buff in Sacred 2 that looks half decent ^^ gogo
  20. Hi Misery The original Sacred was my love for a good number of years. Made countless friends, drank many beers (server parties.... ) and actually the SIF (Sacred International Forum) was actually the first forum I ever posted on. An addiction was born. I bought the original Sacred after seeing it's performance on a mid level desktop at the time...the demo blew me away...being able to use bows while firing from a moving horse sold it to me in a quick second. It was a tough game, much to learn, and there are still lots of mysteries left in the old game. Glad you're getting to play, though I must say I'm not playing the original anymore...Sacred 2 has stolen this year's heart and soul. If you're thinking of getting the game, have a look up for our clan on the servers. Cheers! gogo
  21. heh, knuckles, your job does seem to take you to those distant lands and mountain tops...hope you don't have a recurrence of that last overnighting ^^ And...snow outside. Billowy, soft, warmish... good day to grocery shop...or should I just stay at home again and keep playing? Ahhh, this game gogo
  22. Well, I'll see if I don't get too discouraged today...losing those two levels was a very disheartening moment and I just went off and sulked in the wiki for a few hours...got lots of work done though Okay, this is it, the final push...onwards to plat! gogo p.s Knuckles, alas, no portaling in the last few levels...was leveling with another dryad about 9 levels ahead of me and we were clearing out swamp together and quickly. The drop happened to me about five seconds after I reached level 95...game froze fade to black...sobs
  23. oooh, special fx pic...show off Gratz on the level gogo
  24. Gotta get me back those two levels. The dryad sparx (very nice player btw from Germany) who I blew through that last two levels with in what seemed like the blink of an eye went on to plat... gogo
