    vending machine -> harvest yourself

Some farmers around us have fields where you can harvest yourself. No control, just a moneybox in a heavy concrete block. Pumpkins, sunflowers, strawberries, ....

vendings the future ... always thought it...and it looks like almost all? :oooo:

Ever since I picked Sacred 2 up on release, I've always been tempted by the thought of fully filling in the map. Still, as you already know, actually revealing the entire map is quite the bloody complicated task. Even more so if you're going at it without the use of glitches and exploits (because I couldn't get them to work 😭).

Many years later and after surging the previous two apocalypses, I decided to build my own Dyrad, a first for me. Thus, I thought I'd share my map revealing journey with you!

Basically, I've kitted myself out with a few cheap rings that boost my reveal range (I have no shoppers and aventure like the pleb I am). And since I'll be traversing the entire of Ancaria, both overground and underground, I'll be taking screenshots and video captures of things I find interesting along the way.

Buckle up and let's begin. Please keep in mind that this thread is a work in progress.

The first 30% was by far the easiest to reveal. On my initial Silver run I did as many quests as I could without feeling overwhelmed. Which in Sacred 2 is harder than a very bored, very instagram-addicted Metapod. Still, 30% passed by with ease, and I found some intriguing stuff along the way.

The force is strong with this X-Wing:

    4f8b5784-ca24-4b82-ab05-a10eda746e5c.thumb.png.1a51a4cb04bd8e0ece642f0eac4ae84b.png

If you look closely at this submarine, you'll see the remnants of exactly two billionaires:

    e03a47ae-ec77-4d7e-b3bb-dbeb8ca92d49.thumb.png.be79acbbeefd8c616b99d1c4811c05be.png

50%. Now that one was easier to reach than expected, too! I basically circled overground areas while killing the odd group of mobs, and, well, that was about it.

    Ancaria's most wanted strikes again:

Roses are red, the moon is too far, but I present to you, my friend, a brain in a jar:

Oh, you want to finish your Gold playthrough? Standing under this here decking is the best I can do:

    image.thumb.jpg.386d31abfccf6333c2482b033b7e5f9d.jpg

70%, or as I like to call it, "Oh no." After circling and subsequently filling in most of the overground map, I'd managed to knock my reveal bonus up to just over 200%. But, what's this? There's barely anything left to find? Yes, that's right, because the rest is hidden away underground apparently.

Desert circles (like crop circles but crap):

Bosch, the goblin who looks at cliffs:

86%. It's quite the specific number, isn't it? Well, that's because I've uncovered just about all I can think of. Underground, overground, wombelling free, there's really ain't much else for ya boi here to see. Still, I'm currently trying to get my hands on boosting my reveal rate up to the 400% range if possible.

    I'll report back soon!

    Love the guide.

specially as youre doing this on a console... Good Job

Seeing the Easter eggs in this game dug up and brought into new light years later is always grin-inducing

    Explore away brave sir

    Hey!

I'm currently finishing up my gold playthrough with my pet Dyrad. Unfortunately, however, one of the main quest NPCs decided to make like a mermaid and spawn in the ocean.

    I'm here specifically:

    16699b22-5529-4736-84d6-00fe1f741aa9.thumb.png.1ab6c66b973b37283cb7b4e99b93cb54.png

The NPC was meant to spawn atop this wooden deck, like a sensible piece of clickable exposition should, but as you can see,

    He had other ideas.

I can see him standing under there, drowning, chilling, contemplating the finer things, but I just cannot seem to reach him:

    image.thumb.jpg.83407b9f21df8bc4fc9ab35f4529d369.jpg

I've tried restarting the game, teleporting away and just about anything else, but nothing has worked. Is anyone aware of a fix for this? I really hope my Dryad isn't ruined because this is the first time I've ever crafted my own build.

    - Jay

poor thing...hes joined the mass of poor souls spawned to heads of horses, belly's of ships and roof tops o'er Ancaria... strange land where people to end up as part of objects or transformed into objects with other pieces of Ancaria afixed... sometimes... Sacred goes Horror Movie
    :eek: :oooo: ::D :lol

I know you've tried all manner of  game resets and can imagine how frustrating this is for you..

Hoping someone here will see this topic and can solution to us

  5. hey guys!

I remember this build for my Dryad! She was absolutely the most challenging of her different variations...but the voodoo dryads pagenatry and colors always made me smile... and so I thought she was sentenced to a life of slow sufering until someone gave me ( online in those days on the closed servers) a YELLOW LEGENDARY SCORPION...yah!

I had not idea that the highest level of shrunken heads, legendary, could turn the scorpion into the quickest, most violent pet I could have imagine, and with that small gift I was able to tunnel upwards into the levels with all the different summons possible.

BingBong, how did you happen upon the choice of  scorpion...was it info you read to go for that one? and is your Scorpion what level? Theres a few colors of differing strengths correct?

    :)

ps regarding those moments when the scorpion would stop attacking, I think I just reset the attack button and ran away at the same time till he looked like he was hungry again  :oooo:

    elements ->Meitnerium

In the list of elements it is number 109. Named after Lise Meitner. She was the first to discover how many energy is in splitting atoms. Somehow her name is not mentioned in the Oppenheimer movie. She saw the danger and wrote to other scientiststo make no bomb out of it.

    >Meitnerium -> metaphasic

not sure what that means... lol just saw that word being bandied around on the latest Star Trek we saw!

playing on my ice elf I'm trying to do all quests in platinum to make leveling a bit less repetative, so far ive done all in the elf and human lands I could find and am almost through the orc lands

so I found a locked door in a pirate cave near the seraphim valley, went looking online found out it was opened by a quest that isnt started by talking to someone who has a questionmark but by interacting with a somewhat hidden object.

there is a quest thats started by opening a vase that contains a letter near a river in the elf region.

I also found the quest burning crusade by walking somewhere in human lands.

I also read about a hunting quest in the human lands you can only do after you've completed the campaign

are there any other of these hidden or easily missed quests in the game?

Close friends and family that we are still in contact with on a regular basis... so we are standing on 72 guests at the moment and we know it can change, but we agreed we won't go more tham 90...

whaaaaaaaaaaaaa....  Congratz!! :d_dance: ...lol not more than 90.. thats huge!?  You must be spending oodles of time on menu, cake ingredients, venue... I want to hear everything!!

    Hello everyone!

I'm Jay, and I've been playing Sacred 2 since launch. I heard a few months back that it was now backward compatible with the Xbox Series S, so I got back into it in a big way. Mostly because life decided to throw a disability or two my way, but, hey, I get to game more! So there's good to come of that. Plus, it's given me to nudge I needed to finally join this awesome community.

I absolutely adore the world of Sacred (especially 2) and the tongue-in-cheek style. Honestly, I can't think of another game that scratches that itch aside from Sacred. I also tend to play a lot of Souls games.

While I have been tempted to get the game on PC, I just can't bring myself to use mouse and keyboard after being spoilt by the console control scheme lol.

I've lurked here forever and finally decided to join. I'm looking forward to contributing to this community!

Happy you stumbled upon us Jay!  I always get delighted when someone says that they've been lurking for (what year?) and finally decide to make an intro post so that we can meet up with members.  Re adoring the world of Sacred, youre in good company, Sacred's community here has always been a kind one, probably coming form that humorous style the devs included with this game from the get go, with easter eggs and pranks in game galore.

I never actually played on console...went from the demo many maaaaaaaaaaaaany years ago straight to the EU version of this game that included all manner of brazen violence and beheadings which tickled me galore!

Thank you for saying hi, and welcome to the forums!!

    PS:

Could someone try to add me to his friends list in Last Epoch, or let me know what your username is so I could add you instead?

I'm trying to find out what my "username" even is,

because I noticed the name that is displayed next to any of my chars HP bar, is neither my charname nor my steam name, so I guess it might be my LastEpoch username,

but I don't remember setting it up this way.. maybe it's from before Last Epoch went to steam years ago in "early" Early Access ?^^

anyway: Try adding username = Bobcat  in the friends panel ("H" button by default),

let's see if that works then..

    HI Rot!

I havent tried this game , BUUUUUT... hoping this bump will get you on someone friend list

    Go Bobcat!

That's wonderful to know, Rommel! The results are quite remarkable; thank you for sharing. Bacon and quiche!

You'll probably cook it that way going forward, right? There's no bacon grease splatter to clean up and no constant turning either. I'm happy to hear that it came out so perfect.

    :JC_gimmefive:

It is remarkable indeed! I didnt think that bacon could come out like that... i LOVE how flat it is... this is pretty much the only way i want to make bacon now, specially as I dont cook it too often ... great idea STeve thank you :hugs:

And...I'd like to hear more about your fasting you mentioned in the world game thread... how are you feeling? Is this something you've elected yourself for specific results?

..so, anyone still playing D4 ?

I've heard it's coming to Microsoft GamePass March 28...

Played the beta for a bit, preordered & cancelled,

then bought it again and refunded  again after release, twice ^^

but, now that it's coming to game pass I might give it yet another chance ? :)

(mine's still active till early 2026, I bought & converted loads of xbox live credits to ultimate in advance)

PS: Last Epoch released this/last week on Feb 22,

so starting with March I might end up playing both games, alternating between the two by turns

I absolutely love Last Epoch so far regarding  character/skill system, and item/loot system also looks more interesting than in D4..

overall, it's a lot more complex than D3/D4 at first glance, but a bit less confusing than PoE perhaps ? Might be the perfect mix, but not sure yet.

The graphics/amience has changed & evolved significantly over time,

combat / hit feedback is less "juicy" , so the effects often look great, but very often you can't see or feel the impact the way you do in Diablo games..

but, overall, it's pretty good I'd say.

Servers were hit pretty hard though, already over 200k concurrent players, but things were improving slowly over the last few days since launch.

couldn't play on launch / day 1 and the day after

(but no biggie, if it's just a few days, I can wait.. Im not gonna review bomb or downvote like many others do, unfortunately.. and it has full offline mode too btw.. )

also, the last two days, I could log in online and play on EU servers without any issues, regardless of time of day, tried multiple times..

no waiting queues or disconnects, no weired server related stuff happening ingame...

(but not all issues are resolved yet, also depending from where / where you're trying to login to... it feels a bit like D3 start for some I guess, I remember I also couldn't play online for days/even first few weeks back then)

€: Dang! sneaky Last Epoch Advertising in here.. well, nah..  it's a bit too obvious.

but really, I intended to make this post solely about D4 - yet ended up babbling about something else.. my bad ;)

    Good seeing you rottluchs!

I dont mind playing...i think i got a toon someone in the eighties..if you wanna play coop im in!
