  1. THIS BUILD IS NOT YET COMPLETE. I am posting this in the guides section as when I have finely tuned it I will submit it since it is unique in it's own right, please bare this in mind. I've been 'lurking' around on these boards for a good time now and recently came up with the idea of an Archer based seraphim, utilizing Exalted Warrior and Celestial Magic aspects. I was unable to find a ranged seraphim build that wasn't BFG..so yeah I thought I'd contribute to the community and post up a build. Rather to play a 'common' build I'd mix it up and try something entirely new. Everyone knows of the classic BFG seraphim, I played it got to 120+ and quit because cutting through bosses like butter got boring and there was no incentive to keep leveling. Imagine BFG and the shield Combat Arts never existed, this I believe is what people would come up with. Why not just use BFG? You can easily tailor this build for a BFG based classic but I have played BFG and it gets boring FAST. Why no shield? I love a challenge and this build will punch up the difficulty, I am substituting it with Hallowed Restoration. The Build level 2 - Armor Lore level 3 - Ranged Weapons - I'm guessing the attack speed bonus will effect Pelting Strikes? I'm wondering whether to pump this into mastery or leave it at level 1, also I couldn't understand what the mastery bonus is. I read somewhere someone said it gives doublehits..but Wiki doesn't say that and even if it did would it effect Pelting Strikes? level 5 - Tactics Lore level 8 - Concentration - I'm not going to use any of the Revered Tech tree so I'll leave this at level 1. level 12 - Exalted Warrior Focus - I'm guessing since I am not pumping Concentration into mastery, I will need to level this? Although it may be useless raising it above 21, Tactics lore gives mod points and I can easily combine some Regen per hit + pelting strikes instantly recharges all Combat Arts. level 18 - Celestial Magic Focus - 21 points to mod Radiant Pillar and Cleansing Brilliance. level 25 - Celestial Magic Lore - Does the lore effect the healing power of Hallowed Restoration? level 35 - Constitution - More HP for survival, Mastery for in combat regen! Mastery for this is a must I believe since I will take this build into Niob. level 50 - Toughness - I am unsure, I have read that Hallowed Restoration modded correctly + constitution mastery gives you godly regen so this may not be needed level 65 - ? Since I am on the Xbox 360 I will be taking full advantage of high + skill slotted into my armor etc, which makes up for leaving certain skills so low. The idea I have is using radiant pillar to draw mobs and unleash a flurry of arrows with pelting strikes. Cleansing brilliance will give me advantage with lower enemies defense values aswell as damage support. Skills Battle Stance Aggression - nice damage boost Flexibility - chance to evade? Since I'll be running 2 buffs and not raising and regen lowering skill past 21 it may be better to invest in Drill. Retaliation - chance to reflect Close Combat Pelting Strikes Succession - chance for double hit Enfeeble - Lowers the enemies defense value. Never used this one before but my belief is that with RPH socketed I will be able to overcome the regen time, Wikia says it's 100 + 1 per CA level..that I hope will cover the fact I did not take Premonition with Battle Stance. Precision - chance for critical hits Soul Hammer Aim - Battering - Coup de Grace. Boss killer. Dashing Alacrity Sprout- run speed Delay - lasts longer Impatients - shorter cooldown Cleansing Brilliance Blind - Lowers the enemies defense value Unsure which Silver Mod to take, please advise! Eagerness? - Increased damage per second sounds nice. Majority of mobs in the game rush you anyway so I think this would be more beneficial. Radiant Pillar Hypnosis - Drawing the enemies towards the pillar sounds extremely useful for later on in Niob, since I will be ranged it sounds like the smarter choice. Brightness - Increases the Area of Effect, a wider Area of Effect will attract more mobs toward it. Magnify - More damage. Since I'm playing on the console I don't have the Ice + Blood experience and updates from that, plus it is very easy to obtain a high deathblow rate! Hallowed Restoration Recuperation - HP regen Master Healer - Yet again since I'm on console this will enable me to keep it up permanently Gold Mod - Unsure which to choose, a HUGE disadvantage of playing on the Xbox is that there are rarely anyone to play with. Yet I may play with my brother, the other mod confuses me though as I don't understand what it means completely. Stats 100% Dexterity. I'm completely open to constructive critism on this, since that is what I want. Although I will not take kindly to insensitive comments, e.g. "Omg you noob just play BFG **''###!11" etc. If you have something to share make it count Thank you.
  2. Hmm Polearms typically have higher dmg, perhaps I'll give those a try. Magic coup is very nice, easily 1 hitting normal mobs and nearly 1 hitting champs atm. Lure em' up and boom ^^,
  3. haha I just realised that when I leveled! Hmm maybe I'll use 2 handed swords since the damage from the weapon heavily influences magic coup.
  4. Update? As in the one that's been out for awhile? or a 2nd one? Nevermind its just because I bought a brand new version of sacred 2 my old one was abit scratched and lagged sometimes, turns out my new one is in german though...even though I bought what was listed as an english version -.- Oh and new question, Does dual wield work with magic coup? As in will each sword hit?

  7. I think for sword modifiers, even if you add the Sword Lore skill also you need to pump it up to get any real bonus. My friend dual wields with 2 Boneslicers with a level 75 sword lore and has a very nice Chance to disreguard armor %, he also had Dual Wield in mastery. It might be worth it if your going pure melee and weapon based arts, but if your mixing your build up with some spells etc then it might become difficult to manage.
  8. Hello, I've been playing Sacred 2 for a good month now on xbox 360 and I have to say I'm loving it! The game is so indepth That aside there has been a few things that have puzzled me (I am blonde so forgive me if I sound stupid!), My questions are: 1) Does Regeneration x per hit work on spells? e.g. say I had 1 sec RPH and used Incendiary shower on a boss, the base value is 7 hits so that should = 7 seconds in total, I have tried 1 sec RPH on my current HE but I can't see any impact on the regen time, although...my Incendiary shower regens in like 1-2 seconds now. I was just curious because if it 'does' work I would invest a few runes in the CA to give it more juice. 2) Attack speed, Casting speed, Execution speed are these all the same? Or is Attack speed for melee attacks and weapon based Combat Arts and Casting speed for spell/buff based Combat Arts? Casting spells on my HE is abit slow...I would like to know which speeds it up I had a few more questions but they've escaped my brain, damnit. I have a question about RPH, it works on my seraphim and dryad with weapon based Combat Arts etc. But on my High Elf I can't see no effect with RPH on my spells, is it supposed to be weapon based Combat Arts only or? I was hoping 'regeneration 1 second per hit' would allow me to spam incendiary shower...but that doesn't seem to be the case if so I guess I will drop this and start a ranged dryad. Edit: I'm on console also
  10. AFAIK, it has not been nerfed... but we always recommend VD users play offline, or private game as you said so that we don't ruin others' play experience. Welcome, Ajaxduo! Exactly I will only use the exploit for my shopper in private. Still figuring it out as I go level 53 atm, not to shabby
  11. Anyone know if this has been patched on 360 yet? (I doubt it has been) but still just wondering just remember if you want to make a VD shopper do it offline or play on a private game. Don't want to lag people out eh

Oh thats a shame, I really wanted to switch up my build and get a shopper started but since I'm at work and a rather busy person I don't have much time for it :\ I done a little research though and I have found the odd couple of forum posts via google search with people who have modded their characters which were on Xbox 360, I just can't find what they used at all. Although there was one link Left 4 Modz SAIO scrolling down their is a premium editor supposedly for Sacred 2, guessing you have to pay for that though..

  16. I'm going to make a HE and obviously GI is a must although I don't quite understand this, if I use 200 runes at level 1 won't the CA level be like 2.6 or something? Does it gradually increase with each level? or is it a waste?

  19. My nova on my last seraphim had a regen time of .5 secs in the combo. If using regen per hit gear, you could easily achieve a 1.5-2 sec nova and be superpowered. yeah just guess I will have to farm some new gear thanks for the tips though!

  21. sounds enticing! though I don't have a clue for mods on flaring nova..maybe: Flaring Nova Bronze * Expand - Increases Flaring Nova's radius. (53.8% increase) * Impulse - Sends out two pulses, but reduces strength and area of effect. (+1 pulse. -30% damage reduction) This Silver * Perplex - Opponents temporarily lose their attack power. (40 + 1.5 per CA level decreased attack value) * Stun - Chance to stun opponents within range. (19.8% + 0.2% per CA level chance) This Gold * Flux - Increases Flaring Nova's damage. (66.6% increased magic damage / 28.6% increased overall damage) This * Laggard - Slows the target down. (25% + 0.5% per CA level decrease) Thoughts? I'm thinking that 2 waves will = more dmg overall (Area of Effect reduction is abit nasty though) + better chance to stun, im not fussed by slow enemies never get a chance to run from me anyway ^^" EDIT: just used one rune to get flaring nova looks hella cool, although my level 1 pelting strikes is around 700 max dmg on the CA but on flaring nova its max 250 although it is unmodded. It has + 4 CA level from my set boots and a regen time of 7 seconds, now with the x2 mod thats 500 max and with the Flux mod im guessing around 750 + dmg? sounding better now, although im wondering how I will manage the regen time :\ pelting strikes is easy to regen. Although for flaring since I have like 1.3 regen per hit so x2 would be 2.6 seconds off 7 seconds still doesnt make it spammable in crowds. Maybe it's a skill that becomes powerful as you progress? To be honest though I do need to get my level 50+ set so I get more sockets I still have level 20's equipped with + hp haha.

I have around + 500 weapon damage from strength so far, I was going to invest in constitution up to mastery just incase my shields drop seraphim can't regen shields in combat either so thats another reason as to why I took it. Atm I'm having a problem with gaining set items, been farming the griffon and raging boar not a single seraphim drop it's driving me insane :\ all I get is Inquisitor, SW and some Dryad. Beat silver campaign today I deal out 1k really fast so those bosses were wasted in no time, although I was careless and didn't let my shields regen and 1 of the nameless guardian hit me for 964 dmg 3-4 times and I nearly died haha (I knew having all those + hp items would pay off ^^"). I have two skill choices left although im only level 43 so, I'm thinking of Rev tech lore for the extra dmg mitigation. Only problem is the lack of Area of Effect, relying on quick kill speed from pelting strikes it does work but hitting all at once would of been nicer. Which brings to mind maybe investing in Flaring nova? I doubt I will add points into Intelligence though but with the dmg bonus from the rev tech lore and neccesary mods it might be useful, although I've never used it so some advice would be welcome (: So to sum up my new questions: Would rev tech lore (more dmg mitigation on shields, and + shield bonus?) which would also allow me to use flaring nova as Area of Effect which I lack, be worth it? Anyone here play Sacred 2 on xbox live? need a few seraphim sets for my gold playthrough :\ @gogo thank you, I admit I have been lurking around here for quite some time haha this game is just TOO addictive ^_^
  23. Thanks well I have taken constitution already but atm my warding energy is nearing 2k it barely ever goes down, although I am on silver (my seraphim is lvl40). I have a dryad that I have EP and bargaining on so I wanted to keep this build pure, as I'm going to play with a friend on live Oh I didn't realise that Rev tech focus increased shield! Is there any charts to show how much it increases it by? also is it just + or + %? Thanks for the insights (:
  24. I recently purchased sacred 2 and I have to say I'm loving it, it's so deep! I have had a few trial and errors but atm I am very happy with my dual wield seraphim...tears everything to pieces so far! I play on the xbox 360, so in a way as most games do some aspects of the game vary a little in difficulty. I remade my seraphim due to being unhappy with the mods I made on warding energy (reflect projectiles and reflect spell chance) I prefer more ++ to shield since im usually in the enemies face and so far I haven't regretted it one bit. Anyways, here is my build so far I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight/tips that may help along the way! Attributes: Strength : 100% Skills: level 02 - Exalted Warrior Focus : I keep it at char level (1st Mastery) level 03 - Tactics Lore : (5th Mastery) ? level 05 - Dual Wield : (2nd Mastery) ? level 08 - Armor Lore : I got 20 points in here and its fine for now level 12 - Concentration : 2 Buffs, why of course level 18 - Revered Technology Focus : To modify Warding Energy and Divine Protection. - I'm wondering whether to boost this into mastery so I can keep on using runes to level warding energy? level 25 - Warding Energy Lore : More shield is always a good thing and a % how generous (3rd Mastery) ? level 35 - Constitution : More health, because if those shields drop I'll be toast. Also I read that in mastery you can regen whilst incombat! (4th Mastery) ? level 50 - Combat Discipline? I really have no idea, reading about it seems as a quicker lazy way to use skills. the bonus dmg sounds nice though. *unsure* level 65 - No idea what to choose here, maybe sword lore to unlock sword modifiers?
