Makes me wonder just how many suffer with this around the world ? A horrible thing to have, imho. You can see a cut, bruise, broken bone, but with something like a bad back, you don't get much sympathy, I'm afraid.

Hi. I am a little worried about our friend, Mr Schot. I noticed that he hasn't posted for a while, and the last time he logged in was the 26th of December, which a long time for such a regular here. Has anyone heard from him ? I think Gogo knows him in r/l or did I read that they met up for a meal or something ? Hope he's ok. Steve.

Oooh, just remembered............. One small gripe about the game ( always good to get a moan in before the game is even released, lol !) the SE version of Reckoning is only available for North America, which is a blow to the rest of the world.

I've been hoping that he'd get to 300 test wickets, but I think it's too late now. I think he's on around 274, or something. Very close to the magic 300, but he seems to bowl very little these days. Crazy number of runs and catches. He should go out wearing a cape, lol ! IMHO, your captain, Smith, never really lived up to his early potential,if you don't mind me saying. He started of like a whirlwind, but slowed right down, and now only comes up with the occational good score. SA, still a top team though. Beat anyone on thier day.

It is good that the elderly keep fit with walking, though not all are so lucky with thier health. Some are too infirm to walk much at all. Still must come as a nasty shock to slip and injure themselves though, no matter how fit and healthy they are.

Well, I don't know about other countries, but we have always had to pay an annual fee for a tv licence in the UK. £145.50 for 12 months. Less if you have a black & white tv..............can't be many of those left !? You will get in a heap of trouble if you don't pay. A big fine and maybe even a jail sentence, though that would be extreme !

Rare for some-one not to own a tv these days my friend, and I admire you for it. We, the world, are slaves to our tv's ! I have an uncle who was a farmer and lives in the countryside. He has never owned a tv. A couple of years ago, some government officials came round and gave him a hard time because he had never paid for a tv licence ! He let them search his whole farm, including outbuildings and barns before they agreed that they couldn't find any evidence that he owned a tv,ariel or satelite dish ! Even then they still weren't happy. What a joke ! They did all this even though my aunt,who has since passed on, was suffering with cancer. What dogs ! It upset him greatly and a couple of years later he still talks of it.

England are struggling like mad against Pakistan. So much for keeping our number 1 status in 2012 ! This test is the first time since 1988 that we have lost the top seven batsmen for under 100 in both innings ! We are currently close to losing by an innings, though I see we have put up a bit of a fight back............but I won't be holding my breath ! Oh well, there's always the 20/20................. That's very sad news about the ladies, sorry to hear that. I hope they recover quickly. At that age, it will be a terrible shock for them, and risks taking away thier confidence too.
