  1. I'm lurvin' Lana Del Rey atm. Big voice, beautiful songs, and stunning looks. She's got the lot, IMHO. One thing though, she simply has to step up on her vid's. Pretty naff, for where I'm at. She doesn't have to go all Michael Jackson and spend billions on her vid's, but a bit more imagination would go a long way. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy these as much as I do:- Cya, Steve.
  2. Hopefully just the one and they get caught very soon. Parents must be terrified in that area ?
  3. This was in the 1970's when I was a child. Also, I don't think they would put cctv in the woods so it must be nearly impossible to protect them. If you are relying on good faith from humans, then you are out of luck. If 10, 000 people looked upon the ants and left them alone, you will always get that 1 person who wants to destroy. Sad, but true.
  4. The original PS was a gem, but mainly because of the ace games. Remember Kingsfield, Suikoden, Diablo, Broken Sword, Tombraider : Lara Croft, Final Doom, Resident Evil, Command & Conquer etc. So, so many classics all on one console.
  5. Although horrific, it does sound small scale. Thus, I would have thought that this is the work one a lone idiot, rather than organised terrorists.
  6. Many years ago, I lived near these big woods near my dads army camp. Deep in the woods there was a massive ants nest made of pine needles. I used to enjoy watching them on my walk to school ( used to detour through the woods) One day I went to see the ants to find that some-one had burnt them out. I could have cried with anger, as they did no harm to humans in the middle of those woods !
  7. Interesting thought Gogo. I think, just from a brief think, that it would be more of a team class for mp than a sp game class.
  8. You have some good points there friend. I'll never forget playing FF7 on the original PS. What a blast. 8 & 9 were good for the PS2 also. IIRC, the original Xbox came with a better range of games than the 360.
  9. The price of console games is shocking. One thing that still amazes me, after all these years, is that some games like Final Fantasy are still mainly just for PS3. I would have thought they would try to get it out on all platforms to maximise sales. *shrugs*
  10. Australian open tennis :- What a match between Murray and Djockovich ( not sure about spelling !) Nadal must be rubbing his hands together as he has had a days extra rest and the other semi was something like 5 hours of gruelling play ! Djockovich is a fantastic player, but he must be exhausted now, so the smart money must be on Nadal.
  11. That's not good at all. I hope they get the nutter who did that.
  12. Haha, good spot Gogo. I didn't notice earlier. Hilarious................although it is at Schot's expense, so I better not laugh too laudly............oh, go on then, hehehe !
  13. We almost had a new nickname for knuckles..........'cyclops' !
  14. Well that's a fair comment as the original Sacred is a classic. Although, it was the mp side that really made it. I had so many happy hours playing closed hc and made so many friends there. Happy days.
  15. You need to get a catflap fitted to your outside door. I used to own a tom cat and he would come and go as he pleased. The one downside to this is that the cat will probably bring in birds, rats, mice etc !
  16. Played the demo so many times now. Been trying loads of different builds. Only shame is that you can't play longer ! I think a pure assasin/thief will struggle a little, but a mage type build is gonna be mega powerful, from what I've seen. Roll on the 10th of feb'. Steve.
  17. You're allowed to break the rules with such beautiful pic's mate. 2 great animals to be.
  18. Never heard of a 'king' cheetah before. Is there much difference between that one and a normal cheetah ? Talking of trophy hunting, they ran a picture story in the UK press of famillies going to Africa and shooting giraffe !? They had photos taken of themselves gathered around the dead giraffe...........If I'd shot such a beautiful animal, I'd keep darned quiet about it ! A king cheetah is just a bit bigger in size, and they don't have spots, it is more of a stripe effect... if that makes sense? Got this of wikipedia King cheetah The king cheetah is a rare mutation of cheetah characterized by a distinct fur pattern. It was first noted in what was then Southern Rhodesia (modern-day Zimbabwe) in 1926. In 1927, the naturalist Reginald Innes Pocock declared it a separate species, but reversed this decision in 1939 due to lack of evidence, but in 1928, a skin purchased by Walter Rothschild was found to be intermediate in pattern between the king cheetah and spotted cheetah and Abel Chapman considered it to be a color form of the spotted cheetah. Twenty-two such skins were found between 1926 and 1974. Since 1927, the king cheetah was reported five more times in the wild. Although strangely marked skins had come from Africa, a live king cheetah was not photographed until 1974 in South Africa's Kruger National Park. Cryptozoologists Paul and Lena Bottriell photographed one during an expedition in 1975. They also managed to obtain stuffed specimens. It appeared larger than a spotted cheetah and its fur had a different texture. There was another wild sighting in 1986—the first in seven years. By 1987, thirty-eight specimens had been recorded, many from pelts. Its species status was resolved in 1981 when king cheetahs were born at the De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre in South Africa. In May 1981, two spotted sisters gave birth there and each litter contained one king cheetah. The sisters had both mated with a wild-caught male from the Transvaal area (where king cheetahs had been recorded). Further king cheetahs were later born at the Centre. It has been known to exist in Zimbabwe, Botswana and in the northern part of South Africa's Transvaal province. A recessive gene must be inherited from both parents for this pattern to appear, which is one reason why it is so rare. Delta! No wonder he's called the king. He is absolutely beautiful. You are very lucky in Africa. Here in the UK we've got pidgeons and hedgehogs !
  19. Goodness me Knuckles, I feel so sorry for you. I can only hope that you soldiering on through the pain does not increase the back damage any further ! Ouchie about the face too ! I'll bet the guy was worried about your reaction ?! Bet he's a bit bashful around you these days ? I can only wish you the best mate. Steve.
  20. Great to hear from ya Schot my friend and I wish you a speedy recovery. We sure do miss you here, but yer health comes first. Oh, btw, eat something for goodness sake, you are just skin and bone ! Hope to hear more soon. Steve.
  21. Sounds wonderful. Good job Chattius and I hope it all goes well on the day. Steve.
