LadyCorvidae (if that does not work, cause sometimes it does not ugh, use sebollinger it is the same account, but Steam decides on a whim what it wants to use sometimes lol )

Reporting in So far Arial Bold is working quite well! Having so much fun playing now that I can actually see the text lol!
Will also try the Arial Black to see how it works. Between the 2 I will be good to go and play my heart out.
Thanks bunches again Hooyaah for the help. You have made the game even more enjoyable for me. Thank you!!!

The Tahoma is much better, though I think I am going to go for the bold in this font. Having astigmatism just complicates matters lol. I am going to play with it some more and am going to try out the Arial Bold as well. Will keep you posted
Thanks again for the suggestions Hooyaah, very much appreciated. Who knows, it might even help someone else too.

It's great to know that you got the game patched with CM 1.60! A good font that should be very legible for you is Tahoma, Arial Bold is also quite easy on the eyes.
Thank you bunches Hooyaah!

Thought you all would like to know that I got the CM patch installed and it is running perfectly! I am so happy!! Thank you all again for your help Made everything much easier.
Now if I can get the fonts to my liking that will be even better lol. Darn my old eyes. I changed the fonts but have not hit the sweet spot for the small text. If anyone can suggest a font (windows 10) to try that would be great!
I forgot to thank whoever fixed the title to be more informative so thank you bunches!

After you install the CM Patch 1.60 there's no need for the hot fix, as everything is fully integrated because its not a beta version anymore. You can download the final and complete version here. You may want to read up a bit on it there before proceeding with the install to ensure that you have the correct version of Sacred 2. Before installing you need to know that your previously saved characters will be bugged and you will want to create new characters. Also, it should install properly unless you have any mods or have made any modifications. I am running the GOG version so I don't have any experience in installing the Steam version. However, if you encounter any issues, there are other members here who have successfully installed the Steam version and would be eager to help. Please let us know when you get the CM Patch 1.60 installed and functioning properly, as we all want to see that you are successful doing so and are able to enjoy the game with all of the marvelous changes. You will especially appreciate the fact that the issue of game crashing has been virtually eliminated. The entire change log is quite an extensive read.
Thank you so very much Hooyaah! Double checked my version and I have Sacred 2 Gold with Ice and Blood 2.65.2 so all should be well I believe.
Cannot wait to play with the CM patch again. It has been a long time and numerous versions ago since I have. I am so excited to be playing again! Have been reading over the change log and wow!
Thank you again for your help. Will let you all know how it goes.

I am using the Steam version of Sacred 2. Is there anything I need to do different when installing the CM patch? Also, am I assuming correctly that after I install the patch that I need to also install the hot fix for it?
Thanks in advance for the help. I am fumble fingers when it comes to this type of thing and I want to do everything correctly .

Good Evening,
I'm somewhat new to Dark Matters (d/l'd patch a few months ago) and if Windows hadn't crashed the Blood and Ice Sacred 2 game I not sure if I ever would have found this wonderful site. The community patch has made me a happy camper again. I can't say I like all the additions, but they are minor compared to being able to play the game again. I think it's the game detail that has me hooked. Since my PC is mid-range it's probably good some older games still play. The fan base Sacred has is amazing. My play is safe and easy - always Bronze. I've played all the characters and paths. The new CP additions makes the game seem new and how old is the patch. I haven't tried the Diablo version, but it's just a matter of time. Games I've enjoyed in the past (anyone else hate Microsoft): Zone 66, Lemmings, Caesar 3, Red Alert 2, Strike Eagle, and Rise of Nations to name a few. And of course the all-time time waster O-game. I just wanted to stop by and say Hi, but I get carried away.
Good Night
Good morning! Glad you are enjoying yourself again. I have just come back after an extended hiatus and cannot wait to play with the CM patch again. Hope you continue to have a fun time in Ancaria!

It has been a very long time since I have ventured into DarkMatters, I have really missed it.
After playing Sacred 2 Fallen Angel on the 360, I wanted to try my hand at the PC version. This also was quite awhile ago lol. Many games came and went and still Sacred 2 was on my mind. I have not found another game quite like Sacred 2 so I decided to succumb to the siren call that has haunted me all these years and come back here.
So anyway, here I am again and it feels mighty fine.

Hurray and welcome back, Dobri! Glad you got the laptop and can immerse yourself in the gorgeous world of Sacred 2. I still marvel at it all every time I play.

Hello and welcome Nicholas! Glad to have you here. This is a most helpful bunch and a fun place to be as I'm sure you are finding out. (will try NOT to be late to the welcome parties again, will have to stop overdosing on apps on my new IPad 2....if only there was a Sacred app..lol)

Hello and welcome MysteryNotes! Do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all. Everyone is most helpful and downright nice. Enjoy your stay!

Hello and Welcome Mike! Late to the party again...lol...rats!

Hello and welcome, Darrel! You've landed in one of the most helpful, fun, and delicious places ever! Enjoy your stay and if you have any problems or questions ask away. Have a fun weekend, full of Sacred of course...lol I plan to spend some quality time with my toons.
-
Hello and welcome, Balraw! Sorry I'm late to the welcoming party. You are so right about the game being utterly addictive...lol Haven't pulled an all night session lately. I have to be careful when I play before work though, since Sacred time is a completely different animal than regular time..lol. Thankfully I've only been late a couple of times..lol Whew!
Glad to have you aboard! Enjoy your stay.

Got my copy yesterday and played co-op for several hours (console version) and I must say I am enjoying it so far. My husband is playing Lucas and I'm playing Anjali. Stubbie, I hear ya about the agony over skill choice...lol Took us more like 15 minutes each..lol
I do enjoy the ease of transition from Anjali's fire form to her melee spear/staff form. Fireballs are great, fire jackal is helpful and in a crowd her Spinning Kick works wonders. I've seen numerous enemies launched into the air after Lucas's Blade Dash then Anjali running in with her kick...lol
I do wish they had worked in the keyboard customization for PC players though. I like everyone to be able to be able to play in the way they like best.

Oh darn, I'm late to the welcoming party again! Oh well, better late than never..
Hello and welcome, Julius! Glad you are here and hope you will enjoy your stay. This is a great bunch, always willing to lend a hand or answer any questions you might have.
I haven't even ventured into MP myself yet open or closed. I'm still having fun messing around with the Community Patch goodies..heeeheee, that and poking around in Dungeon Siege III...lol
Have fun!

Yeah, I hear ya Syrzan. I know there are some good guys/gals out there but you sure gotta look hard to find 'em.
@Dante, yeah that is really childish and stupid IMO. If someone has mad skillz you should take your lumps and respect the player that gave 'em to ya..dust yourself off and get back in the fray. (by the way Dante, if you don't mind my asking, what makes Wet your fave game and do you think a silver haired noob like me would enjoy it?...lol you can PM me if ya want. I'd like your opinion)
My FPS skills are what I would call meh...lol I made it through Borderlands and a few others and being relatively new to the world of videogames, even though I'm a shall we say a mature...ahem..silver haired player...lol, I just wish there were more of an attitude of hey, let's help out the new guy/gal not hey, fresh meat let's see how many times we can kill 'em and maybe get an achievement or something to that effect. I wouldn't even venture into a competitive kill or be killed match because I don't feel my skills are up to snuff, which to me is as it should be, you practice and play until you can feel like you can hold your own, not get killed right outta the gate and not get others killed in the process(if your on a team). To me that is being respectful of other players, young or old.

It is probably just my old brain lol. I thought that the log in name was the same as the account but I do not think it is. I log in with LadyCorvidae but my profile says sebollinger. It is probably something simple that I missed.
Oh by the way, I did send invites to everyone Hope I did not cause too much confusion.
