  1. I'm not sure of the specifics but its not a one time use is it? We could take turns as to when it becomes active. Guess I should read up on it all, I just really haven't had much free time other then the few hours I play GW2 in the evening.(and I'm not inclined to give that up )
  2. Yea Guild Wars really has never been about the experience. It is to start out, but it quickly becomes less important. I'd like to add that you shouldn't let non-completion of a map stop you from going to the next higher map level either. I hit level 80 long before I had completed ANY maps. That way when I go back to play with all of you, I still have things in that area that need doing and I'm not merely tagging along behind. Pf course there is always gathering that needs to be done too
  3. Grats Chrona, That is amazing. Did you get good rewards for 100% completion? I'm working on mine... but it will prob be quite a while till I'm done.
  4. I totally agree Toughness and Vitality are a must have in abundance for GW2. In past games I have played the amount of damage was generally most important (unless you were a healer type or tank). I find that not to be so for GW2 tho... HMMMM could Anebe trying to tell us something with all that Vit and T'ness being so abundance on just about every piece of equipment out there. When I first started gearing my Character I went for Power and Precision just like everyone I saw posted on different forums. But It didn't matter how hard I hit, I was always dead (and I spent a fortune in repair). Then one day in WvW I got so piffed off by a thief that kept stalking me and killing me, that I thought I'm show him the next time he wont be able to kill me. I spent all my money, sold everything I could even and respec'ed for Toughness and Vitality. OMG I got such a thrill when the next thief that targeted me I SMOOSHED HIM.... The amazing thing is, I didn't really even notice a drop in my damage. Yes it went down a tad, but not nearly in comparison to how much harder I was to kill. Just a note tho, I have since respec'ed and replaced most of my gear again and this time I ended up with more Vit then T'ness and to me it seems I am easier to kill, therefore I'mma work on lowering vitality and raising toughness. I will edit my post and add what I currently rock, when I can access the game next. Edit: So here are my stats for my level 80 Ranger Power 1870 Precision 1291 Toughness 1197 Vitality 1675 Attack 2870 Crit 22% Armor 2093 Health 22,672 My goal is to switch my T & V and go for a bit more Precision as well. Since I still have 5x items left to upgrade I think its doable.
  5. Aww, Max beat me to posting... but at least I (or everyone) can see this forum now Can't wait
  6. Yea, Im sorry... I thought they all were for 24 hrs, but then im usually wrong
  7. Actually Wygram, our guild influence and what we do with it only counts for us on Ferguson's Crossing. It does not transfer cross server unfortunately, therefore anyone on a different server has their own to configure the way they want.
  8. I totally agree on all points with Lujate. and bring friends to help you with your personal stories. Not only does partying with a friend/or friends make everything more fun, you actually get to finish most things on teh first try.
  9. I went for buffs. Since all of us are always broke, it would be nice to get more karma, magic find, and to gather more mats. So change your vote guys Plus they are much cheaper and easier to get for a small amount. The next vault will take us forever.
  10. lol, I'm with lujate on this one... it's best not to know.
  11. Can't wait, so excited to see what they do for GW2's first holiday. Anet always does it up good.
  12. Yep, I agree 1/2 the time we don't even realize there was one /Wave Neighbor
  13. I was unable to ever get multi-player to work on PC (think it was my old connection) but I have played the multi-player version of Xbox-360 (tho I hate consul's). You host it on your SP campaign and others join, or visa versa. Once they log out they no longer have access to that game unless they connect to you again. They do though get to keep their drops and purchases and levels if I remember correctly, been ages. Also keep in mind that in order to get experience from each other you have to be in range, forget what that range was, but remember that it was pretty close. All in all, I found the consul to be much more limiting and quickly reverted back to my PC.
  14. Ohhh scary stuff. Glad you are all OK. Unfortunately... I live in Cali, right near the San Andres Fault so I experience mini-quakes all the time. They are still scary tho, since you kinda hold your breath to see if there is a bigger one to follow. When the Northridge Earthquake hit I lived 5 miles from it. It was mega scary and it kept going and going and going. The noise was deafening, we lost all the plumbing on our house, electricity was out for days and the automatic gas shutoff kicked in... so we were kinda a mess I would say. TBH, I plan on leaving Cali as soon as I no longer have obligations here.
  15. Yea, think I replaced it as soon as I got a better one for a drop... but rings done seem to drop that often. Eventually you can buy decent accessories from Karma Vendors too.
  16. Yea! Welcome to our lil part of the GW2 world
  17. I'm sorry, It's really not like me to bail on something when I said I would be there. But in my defense, I only get to go see my Cuz about 1-2 times a year and I kinda made an exception this time. I promise it wont happen all the time. *hugs* forgive me?
  18. I'm there, I promise nothing but a world wide major catastrophe will drag me away.
  19. I absolutely loath Thieves in WvW, they are the bane of my existence (can you feel the hate dripping off my words?). In fact I hate them so much I'm leveling a thief so I know how they work and can better and more effectively stomp their butts. edited for a typo
