  1. Thanks for the offer but I play hardcore (I modified my previous post)
  2. I'm looking for two handed swords and seraphim low level set items. Playing Hardcore Closenet.
  3. Is it just me or before the patch you were able to use Glacial Thorns clicking on an enemy (especially boss for me) and going away from the enemy with the right click down you were able to concentrate the Thorns for more damage. Now no more. If this is confirmed it could be really bad for an ice elf....
  4. Hello!! After the every patch I start thinking about a new build....today my choice has gone for a Seraphin. A few weeks ago I posted a topic about a Flaring Nova seraphin. I'll plan on using that CA. But my mind is always thinking about a type of weapons I never used: two handed swords. So my seraphim will be using twohanded swords. I know they're not the best option....but hey, who cares? The game is about having fun, isn't it:) So, I had a few 2handed sword but, stupid me, I sold them. And now I'm here asking for your help. If you have 2handed swords and you don't use them, please help me and give them to me Thanks PS: I've seen now there's a trading thread in another part of the forum and posted there...sorry to open a new topic
  5. The idea behind an utility Temple Guardian came in my mind when I realized how important socketing was in the game. Well, you have so many good items that are there waiting to be enhanced and it took me some time before I recognized their value….but finally I saw the light!! So I looked at all the characters available and was thinking about an Inquisitor….I’ve read about their power and the ability to have Bargain and Blacksmith. But I then noticed that, having a character able to buy incredible things and not having uniques or set to be smithed was a real shame. So the Temple Guardian seemed a good choice. Never played one but looking good. Now my Asar is level 140, reached niobium and fulfilled his duties perfectly. Especially the fun one! I entered niobium last week but, after some thinking, it seems a good thing to share my thoughts with you because this is a really nice build, funny to play and very useful for your future characters. My deity was Testa. Not very important. All my point points went to strength. It gives betters attack bonus and higher damage. Now to skill selection: 1- Blacksmith 2- Enhanced Perception 3- Bargaining 4- Devout Guardian Focus 5- Tactic Lore 6- Concentration 7- Warding Energy Lore 8- Armor Lore 9- Constitution 10- Sword Lore This is how I picked the skills. If I had to rebuild him, I’d take Sword Lore at 9 only to kill faster for a few more levels. My buffs were T-Energy Shroud (power, recharge, reflection) and Battle Aura (barricade, riposte, permanent). My only attack was a sword (left click) with the Battle Extension passive bonus for double hit. This way I didn’t have to worry about casting times and buffs levels (always at max). One important notice is about the mount…the wonderful Mobiculum: it will be your best friend! The choice is very important and I suggest taking the neutral one, the one that gives a bonus to shield recharging….later on it will be incredible. I’ve kept Enhanced Perception and Bargaining at level until 75 then only Bragaining. I’ve put points in tactics lore and Devout Focus to mod both the buffs. Then pumped Consitution to gain the mastery bonus at level 75. It is very important to socket +all skills in every socket available and have 3 pieces of two sets of your choice in order to gain the +all skills bonus there. One of the goal of this build is to find, so having EP maxed at all times is very important. It was incredible when, at level 65 I’ve put one point in sword lore and my attack went from 100% (was a little more from items) to 150%!! In a single click! Same goes for Armor Lore and WEL. At level 75 I started pumping Blacksmith to level 75 in order to gain mastery. I mentioned earlier about the fun part of this build. I’ll explain better. With Asar I was able to kill, not super fast but good enough, and then I explored the world a bit, searching for chests. When tired Asar looked for shops and items. In cities there were happy chest opening all the time!! I think I’ve enjoyed a lot of the things the developers had in mind when making the Temple Guardian. I’ve stopped him at level 140 because I never played niobium. But I had only one red health message before 140, when surrounded by demons in wastelands. If you put some rings with evade chance you’ll become even more powerful. The energy shield is great, the passive double attack from Battle extension is wonderful, the fun of playing Asar was priceless
  6. I asked Schot for a forum name change. I always use Immali online so now it'll be easier to recognize me in the forum and online
  7. I have a lot of TG set items for everyone that needs them. All levels.
  8. Hello!! After playing with a TG for about a month the thing I really miss is and Area of Effect damage. So, after a long wait, tomorrow I hope to start my new character and one option is a seraphim using Faring Nova as main combat art. I think taking Revered tech lore and focus is a must, same goes for combat discipline. There goes 3 skills. Then using Warding Energy Lore seems obvious, as for Armor Lore and Constitution. And we arrive at 6 skills. For the other 4 skills and about the weapon to use I don't know. Toughness and combat reflexes seems nice to have because I'll be surrounded a lot (the goal of this build). About the weapon I was thinking about a pistol. There are many in the game, I never use them and it seems nice with this build. I'll not use the weapon much, so maybe a sword with 3 slots could be better.....Shield lore seems good also. I'd like to know your opinion and suggestions. Thanks a lot.
  9. ....you get to level 138 and then have to go to work and at work you always think about those two damn levels that separates platinum from niobium.... ....you have five minutes before going out and you log in just to see who's online (and maybe kill a monster or two....) ....you start thinking about your next character and you've not even finished with your current one.... just curious about your way to expand this
  10. I really like the spell resistance fix....and I'm very interested in the change in amulets and rings.
  11. Congratulations!! I hope to arrive there soon with my level 119 TG
  12. I have a lot of energy weapons....everyone that needs them just ask I don't want to sell them but will have to if I continue finding them I'm not looking for anything in particular, but will post when I need something....
  13. Hello, I'd like to know how the smith abilities work. I try to socket, for example, the +damage and +attack value. But the damage, if it says +10% doesn't seem like a real +10% (from 100 to 110), but less.....is this intended:) or am I missing something:) Maybe I've only done my calculations in a bad way, but wanted to be sure that if I socket +10% it's from 100 to 110 (added after an edit) What does "opponent level for deathblow" and "damage to enraged players" do:) Thanks
  14. I go in...if someone needs set items for inquisitor, shadow warrior or temple guardian I have some to give away for clan memebers (nice TG finder...now finds too much:)) I'm also looking for dryad set items Hope to see you online I'm in gold servers and will look in silver sometime for some of you guys
  15. The character is now level 76 and is amazing!! I followed the plan said above, but I took sword lore as a last skill....with one point spent and the insane amount of + skills from gear I passed, in a click, from 100% attack speed to 150% Now I hope the next patch won't hit this built too much with the changes on amulets and rings....anyway I'm now maxing smithing and then will stop it...don't want to risk dying with this utility...he survives only thanks to the + skills equipment. All my points went to enhanced perception, bargain and consitution. At level 75 I stopped consitution and enhanced perception and started giving 1 to bargain (to keep it maxed) and 4 to smith (to reach quickly the max).
  16. Hello, after making my utility TG I now plan on making a melee one. But I have some questions on some combat arts... Does charged grid heal my TG:) I think so, but the description says "allies" so I wanted to be sure I used the T-Energy shroud and battle aura buffs on my first TG. But Untouchable force seems sooooo nice. So, is it worth putting 75 points in concentration in order to be able to use 3 buffs:) I will mainly use the normal attack with Battle extension passive bonus for double attack so regeneration time is not so important to me. If I take Untouchable force, is it better to take the Source warden lore or focus:) In this case I'll also use charged grid for some healing (if the answer to the first question is yes....). Or is it better to use T energy shroud and Untouchable force as buffs and Combat alert as a normal combat art:) And one last (maybe stupid) question....does combat discipline increase the damage I make with my weapon if battle extension is in the slot and not in use:) My mind says "no...obviously...." but asking is the best option for me Thanks
  17. I've read somewhere on the Sacred 2 official forums that it's possible to increase attack speed more than 150% (I've read 175 iirc). How can you do that:) Is it possible with all weapons or only some:) What does the attack speed bonus unlocked by the alchemy skill do:) Any info on this is greatly welcome Thanks
  18. Nice guide, really!! I learned to love Enhanced Perception and Bargaining, and I was amazed to see my level 65 TG taking 1 point in sword lore and, thanks to the + to all skills equipment, have it at level 89 in one second!! So I'm thinking of using the sword lore in one of my next dual wielding characters....I really think it's not a wasted skill point if added with + all skill equipment.
  19. My wife likes watching me playing and laughing at my deaths..... Wife: "make a SW, his quotes are funny...." Me: "I don't like SW much" Me: "look how cool is my new dryad" Me after a few days: "look how cool is my new HE" Wife: "these bodies are not realistic......these games are made for men" Had to say that....too funny for me
  20. How can you die with a new ultra-bow and armor:)
  21. I recently realized that Enhanced Perception is the key, at least for me. Before making a finder TG I used to find set\rares only sometimes. Now, with high enhanced perception (more than character level), I find set\rares everywhere....rats, kobolds, animals are dropping. More chances are for mini boss and champions. The desert area with a lot of champions is ideal. I tried a lot of Grunwald runs because a lot of people say it's a good place, but I never found anithing useful.
  22. I made a few melee dryad both in SP and HC closenet. I have two tips....don't use spears, they often don't attack, probably a 2handed weapon bug; and the third mod on Ravaged Impact (double mod) doesn't work in melee. I quit playing a dryad for this reason....wating for the next patch and hoping. About your build I strongly recommend to take Spell Resistance, due to the fact that you'll be highly vulnerable to fire damage with Barkskin and one of my character died for the TG in the last area shooting 3 or 4 of their nasty fire spells.....bang! dead character. The mods for Sinister Predator are, imo, priceless....chance to critical hit, chance that opponenet cannot evade and faster regeneration as icing on the cake If dual wielding you'll not use Darting assault much (only one weapon seems to do damage, so it's not worth it). Be prepared to cast Goldenglade touch a lot later on.... Writing this reply make me thinking about writing a melee dryad guide Hope this helps, if you have more questions I'm here. The melee dryad was my favourite character (now I made the mistake of making a TG and my Sacred life changed...) and I'll make a new one after the patch.
  23. Hello!! Warning! This is not a guide! I only wanted to share my first experience with this class....a short introduction could be useful.... When I bought the game the two classes that didn't really interested me were TG and Inqui. And I made the big mistake of not giving smithing and bargaining their real importance. Then I tried to make an HE shopper and finder. But my feeling was...."still no smithing..." So I decided to try this character, not too much happy about it being a TG. Sometimes our mind can be really tricky (and a psychiatry saying so is really wonderful, I think ) and I didn't have a real reason for not loving the TG Well, you want to know the rest:) I'm LOVING it!! Really. This is a post for everyone that didn't give this class a try. Try it NOW! So, my build is done this way: -Smith -Enhanced Perception -Bargaining -Devout Guardian Focus -Concentration -Tactics Lore I'm level 21 now and it works wonders......I intend to go on like this -Warding energy lore -Aromor lore -Sword or hafted lore -Constitution I'm using the two Devout guardian buffs and my attack, with battle extension is doing great things. I love the double attack bonus it gives even without casting it. I'm placing all points in strenght. So now I'm finiding this character really funny. And it also uses only one tree, a thing I'd like to do also on other characters. The energy shield is really a nice addition to this build. I'll keep you informed on how this is going on and, if someone is interested, I'll give more details about (Immali) Asar (his name) Please post your comments and suggestions All the best!!
  24. No play for me today, again big working day Yesterday I played a couple of hours and had a real fun with my shopping HE. Good luck with your new project Epox! And good game to you all....see you on the servers tomorrow
