I ran my Mesmer and she sucked. I must have a poor build for this area. Too many hits with no damage, glancing hits. I had better luck with my Necro the other day. I might just bring her. Max I think you have to do the opening ceremony.

What do you want me to bring. Level 80 Warrior Mesmer Guardian Thief Ranger Engineer I am lean toward the Mesmer but will bring whatever fits best in the party. (Also have a mid 70s level Necro)

Okay, folks do we plan on the events at Southsun Cove this weekend. I have been getting my butt kicked roaming solo around that place.

I love the great sword. I really never get around to Phantasms and Shatter. I mostly use GS#1 through GS#4, Mind stab (GS#3) is nice when battling bosses.

Mesmer is also a pet class that derives a significant amount of its DPS from its illusions. I would suggest your Warrior. I am not sure I have a good character for this dungeon. I may just have to call in sick tomorrow. Melee builds are suicide (that eliminates Ele, Guardian & Thief), and Mesmer is a pet class. That only leaves my grenade Engineer. She has exotic trinkets and yellow gear. Also all of her attacks are ground-targeted Area of Effect's. I am not sure I can aim those while trying to stay alive. BS, you can not call in sick. Okay, I will bring Wygram (warrior) to the party. He has not been doing much lately. Now I just have to relearn how to play him again. :-]

Big problem is on use it becomes soulbound, which means I need to spend $10 on each and everyone of my characters. That's $70 - $80 if I make a Guardian... way too much money on a tool. Especially if Max's idea of the other tools going the same way. That would be $240 just in tools. I could take the wife away for the weekend for that much money.
