  1. Do I edit the scripts\shared\spells.txt? Primarily the "tw_te_levitieren" spell? Because I tried that and it did not register any changes. In other news, I have made my way up north to the corner. No chance in hell there is any land connection to the dragon island. Yes, you can fly over the hole in reality. You do disappear when you fly over the nothing. And I must have passed the same section of seabed 15 times. Shame they could not copy-paste the last few sections.
  2. THIS GLITCH IS AWESOME! Just ram you mount (at least the epic one) into the invisible walls, get of and then jump, fly, teleport anywhere. Easy to do most of the time. Now all I need is to fix the Propelled Levitation cooldown from 20 seconds to about 5. To hell with this bathysphere. I'll get out and walk the rest of the way... And my first expedition will be to that small island in the lake. There are some details about this glitch mechanics. If you are close to shore and try to move, the game will slowly move you back to shore. You can cancel this by jumping, teleporting, etc. If you want to get out fast out of the water, just start running into the coastline. If you get far enough, your char will just stand at attention when you try to move him or her. Overall the lake is shallow and very flat. You would be lucky just run into one of these bumps. When I finally reached the island, I discovered that there is no island. Only this weird glitch in the water structure. What is even wierder are the 3 NPCs down here. Brian Dunkleman, Queen and HYPNOTOAD. You can chat with Brian and Queen, but they only have regular NPC dialogs. Could not trigger Hypnotoad. I fact, I dont recal ever running into the Queen or Hypnotoad in game at all. Anyone know anything about these two? My second expedition was to the multiplayer island. The open sea is a lot deeper than the great lake. I soon ran into places where no QA debugger walked ever before. This type of topography was a common occurrence. Eventually I reached the island in singleplayer with no timer limit. It was very fun. They even have some odd petting zoo of animals with player names. Best close the door quick as they could escape. For my last expedition I decided to go to the Dragon Mage starter island. But there was a horrible snag in the plan. I did get enjoy the underwater flowers on the southwest coast line. Most of the walk was very boring. I had only the relaxing sound of the sea to keep me company. Passed the time finding bumps in the seabed and pretending to be a submarine. But eventually I ran into the edge of the world. I could not enter it. And I was very close to the dragon island. So I decided to go south in hopes of finding a map section that connected to the island... There was none. At least not in the southern direction. In any case, enjoy your underwater adventures... at least when Flix tells us how to lower CA cooldowns to 5 seconds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chHoZje1dsY
  3. By interacting with these keyboards I have successfully saved the world. Now to ride my fire horse through the office halls. By the way, there are sound clips in german for the Studio 2 area (soundhq.zip\region\studio2\dungeon\atmo_sfx\). Can someone translate them into English? They sound hilarious (addfx_studio2_dungeon97.ogg).
  4. You can glitch jump mountains? Or is that just a description for a lot of glitching?
  5. It also trigger one of the best sounds in the game pak\soundlq.zip\item\switch\switch_special.ogg P.S. Evidently one cant just post MP3 or OGG files as attachments around here for easy direct play. switch_special.rar
  6. I think my horse is of the undead variety.
  7. Is it the mini canyon leading up to the Sea of Heavens in Thylysium?
  8. Maybe they abandoned it because the machines could not handle the load. I have trouble just running certain video formats and flash games on my cheap device. You think your machine is up the task?
  9. I didn’t bother going for the PhD title thing, and just went to work after graduating with a bachelors. After working for a couple of years got board with the type of work I was getting, so I went and got a second independent specialty diploma. It compliments my first one very well. But then aging I live in eastern Europe, were we don’t usually bother with letters of recommendation and such. Just remember that you can always go back to collage any time you want.
  10. You need to speak with this gentleman in the mayors house at the start of the game. Hold on to your pants, as he will teleport you all over the forbidden places. I don't know when he appears, or how to make him do this again. Maybe you need to beat the game on that difficulty or something.
  11. Its nice to relax on a tropical island and watch the rare blood dryad mermaids with fire swords... Wait, what?!.. Not on my watch you evil elven imposters. That ship lost a bucket of brown stuff. Where are all the fish?
  12. That is a very lovely little picture of a tower from the first game... Which makes this picture of the far future.
  13. 2 of those paintings (Dryad village and the Dracornicorn) are for sail at the art store in Thylysium.
  14. 1024 x 768 with graphics set to High. Didn't find any resolution options in the game settings.
  15. Am I the only one who ran into that guy again in the Crystal Plane? Wait. No, no I'm not crazy. He was here and here.
  16. "Those guys look like they know what they are doing. What could go wrong?" 2 millennia later: "Well rusty my gears. Time to go and fix the world again."
  17. "Oh it's now or never, we shall stand together, one by one, this world is saaaaacreeed..." ~flute whistles~ ... ... ~electric guitar~ "chug chug chug waaaaahhh chug chug waaahhh" The Orcs sing a different tune.
  18. You only get to add 6 skills out of 13 to your PC, and the last one is unlocked at level 50. So study up a bit on that table, before committing to character.
  19. Haha! Well either one is better than "leprechaun" as they were apparently going to be called at some point during development. Gnome probably would have been the best choice for the English localization. Imp would have been ok too. Because of Kingdoms of Amalur, I always thought kobolds were lithe, bat-fox-like creatures. But I didn't know my D&D mythology that well. Even though I played Baldur's Gate, I didn't realize they were reptilian. and why didn't you simply asked? Why didn't I ask? Because I though "kobold" was an old made up word like "grue" The PC taunt sound files for kobolds are labeled "gnome". So excuse me for thinking the developers wanted to rename the gnomes to something more vile. Kobolds are like goblins - their look changes with every world. The original D&D 1st edition ones looked like half lizard, half dog-rat. Later versions became more reptilian. And these are just western designs. Eastern designs can be completely different. P.S. Last one is the kobold form Dwarf Fortress. I have no clue how that happened.
  20. Was translating words into German. Typed "imp", got "kobold"... After years of confusion, I finally understand why those guys are not tiny lizards.
  21. Why not make a second account for spam purposes?
  22. I almost put the Countess in that room but decided it was too cramped, so I put her in the room below. I like to think that's her handiwork. Yes, that boiler room was also very unique and unused. Kind of a shame, really. Thank you for giving it some purpose.
