When I read your post I was both disgusted and amused. Digusted for what happened to you gogo and amused for remembering that I kept telling you that mcdonalds is bad for you. As for the coffee case lets see what I know: -old lady in drive-thru buys coffee, puts the cup between her knees and pulled the lid to open it thus spilling the coffee all over her (on a side note, who in a right state of mind would hold a hot coffee cup with his knees? >_> ) -lady gets third degree burns and has to undertake two years of treatment or something like that -lady wins almost 3 millions in the first trial but due to following trials she decides to settle for about half a million

I'm sowee. Hmm, probably you were used to seeing red squirrels. The ones in the picture are gray squirrels, notorious for driving away the red squirrel population since grey squirrels are in fact native to Canada and US but have been introduced in Europe at the start of the 20th century.

You know I'll start to look more and more into the threads and start posting, don't know how much I'll post since I guess I have to get back into the feel of the forum but I'll do my best. Claire! It's nice to see you again as well. Hmm let's see, last time I left dues some RL issues that made me decide that trying to cope with both them and my online issues would be almost impossible so I left without a notice. I probably could have return sooner but probably I just didn't know how exactly should I do it so I just kept postponing it. Other than that I could say I have less things to worry about since I'm in uni now so life's pretty good at the moment. :damn, no more green fairy smilie: Dan, that makes it sound like I'm some sort of mythical creature, lol. Heh, nice to see that even people I didn't met have heard about me. As well as the fact that people that I met remember me. I guess it's the sign that at one point I was someone... Overall, it's nice to be back.

Well, while the people that have been on the forum since close to its beginnings might know me, newer people probably don't have a clue who I am, which is why I'm posting here and not in a different section. Anyway I'll use the condensed version. At first I met most of the people on the sacred board, then started visiting DaGirl's forum which got me into playing OGame as well. After that followed a controversial alliance split with me and gogo founding D.A.R.K. One thing lead to another and so we needed a forum thus dark matters being born. The rest about DARK and the forum is known, they kept growing ever since. As for me I quit OGame more than a year back but still stayed on the forum for a while only to leave later due to problems in RL. And well, now I am back... Also for the people that do know me I want to apologize for leaving without saying a thing. Even though it might have looked like the right choice back then I still regret it, so sorry guys and hope that you can forgive me.

Inactives don't get noob protection, even if they have under 5000 points. That's why you were able to probe them. Active rank 0 players do get noob protection however.

Cause from time to time old HoFs get sent to the archive. Since different mods handle each section the number and the time HoFs are sent to the archive varies. Also the HoFs are purged by last post time, not by the time the thread was started. Here's a comparison of uni 9 with uni 8 and uni 10: Uni 8 - 329 HoFs - oldest HoF march 20 2006 Uni 9 - 362 HoFs - oldest HoF march 15 2006 Uni 10 - 338 HoFs - oldest HoF december 19 2005 From march 15 to march 19 there are 40 threads in Uni 9 section. 362-40=322 less threads than in the Uni 8 section. Using the same method you would come to the conclussion that Uni 9 has less HoFs than the older unis and more threads than the newer unis.
