    1. Daylight damage. It depends from level of “Turn into Vampire”. At high levels it can be up to 10k damage, so player choose between long duration or low sunlight damage.
    2. About control abilities (included Mind Control and Master Bite). We have some plans for  control abilities, we want make them work vs all enemies, but with a short duration and hight cooldown, so it couldn’t be spamable.
    3. About your idea of Mind Control. I like it, but it would be hard to make, a lot of new code writing will be required.
    4. About Blood Bite. Almost all Combat Arts have damage limit 65535 (2 bytes), damage over it not taken into account. So even if there be 600k damage only 65k would be work. We trying fix this bug but meet a lot difficulties with it.
      Anyway, Blood Bite is powerful control Combat Art, it paralyses any enemies for it’s duration (video for example), so with high damage it can be overpowered.
    5. About Blood Kiss. Everything is possible in theory, but in practice it will be hard to do. In fact there is just wrong description.
    6. About Awaken Dead. Resurrected enemies deal low damage, so this Combat Art actually useless. The biggest problem with all summons is that there is no difficulty multipliers for summons, they use same multipliers that enemies does, so it’s hard to tune it.
    7. Max amount of bats is 4 as in original Sacred. You get 4 bats at 22 level of Combat Art.
    8. About items. Currently we trying to fix “Chance to inflict Open Wound” bonus, because it just not work and it make limits with item rebalancing. After fixing we will start rework items.
    9. About horses. We have some plans about it, but currently we don’t start working with it. As for all changes, at first we need to find code section responsible for this, then understand it, then thinking what we can do with it. We don’t know how much time required for it, it may be 1 hour or may be 20 hours.

    A few words about Sacred modding. There is a lot of underwater rocks, like no multiplier for summons or 2 bytes damage bug. Items also have some underwater rocks. Modding Sacred is like dancing on the nails… without legs... :lol:

    Hi!

    Yes, we can add other languages, but it will be without especial text changes. For example, for russian and english we changed the name and description of Seraphim's Lightning Bolt, but we can't do it itself for other languages, because don't know them.

    If someone make especial translations for other languages then we will add them too. But there is one restriction - new text should be not longer than old one.

  3. Hello everyone! What about endgame in Sacred 2? I was already kill all bosses on niobium and it was pretty fast . What else can I do in Sacred 2? For example in Sacred 1 exist region bosses and overspawn, also for Sacred 1 exist few hard difficulty mods.

    Is in Sacred 2 exist some endgame content? Or maybe some interesting difficulty mod?

    I was already play with Survival Mod and it not make game a lot harder.
    I saw on youtube Moony's Mod, but looks like it's outdated and not actual for CM-160 patch.
    Also I found Challenge Mod (optional part of Enchaced Edition), but looks like it only for Enchanced Edition. I would prefer standart Combat Arts (at least currently).

    So, any endgame or difficulty mods for Sacred 2? Maybe I skip something?

     

    UPD: Also what about %lifeleech and damage mitigation? Looks like it's OP stuff. Maybe any mod makes cap for damage mitigation and do something with lifeleech (like leeching from current health instead max health)?

    1. Dwarven Steel for Cannon Blast and Grenade works only against bosses.

    2. Percentage numbers in Dwarven Steel description is how much percentage enemy's physical resistances will remain.

  5. Veteran Mod

    Veteran Mod is balance modification for Sacred 1 v2.28 (I don't know why noone uploaded this before).

    Changes:
    1. Greatly increased health of all enemies and expirience gained from them (around 6 times). 
    2. All dragons, Anducar and Forest God greatly strengtened (especially health and resistances).

    Installing: Put all files in game folder. For playing with Veteran Mod just run "veteranmod.cmd" - it replace original balance files with modified balance files and then start game. Don't close "veteranmod.cmd" because after exit game it return back original balance files and then closes on its own.
    For playing original Sacred just run Sacred.exe as ususally.

    Veteran Mod creators: Thorium and Ufo (and maybe someone else, I don't know :D)

    ReBorn HD is the biggest balance patch-mod for Sacred Underwold (Sacred Gold) version 2.28. Rebalanced almost all big bosses, rebalanced a lot of Combat Arts, global difficulty balance, items rebalance, new mechanics, improved drop and bugfixes, new difficult chalanges in several caves. 
    See changelists for details, because it’s hard to describe everything briefly. See "by versions" changelist if you want to know what's new in latest version. See "total" changelist if you want to see all actual changes.
