Obsession

Yes I played one character like that (well it was the last character I have played and it's still alive), but I just cannot get beyond level 20 whitout getting bored on the game, so cannot say when it turns interesting. I thought it would be really hard to survive in HC, but atleast Dryad can survive just fine whitout using anything but what the foes drop. Back in Plus and Underworld this kind of playstyle was atleast in two big challenges, where you had to do something extra good on top of surviving, like exploring certain % of the map or beat some giant monster (like a dragon) or get fastest to certain level whit enought map discovered..

Well I have been looking for a Full HD 40" LCD tv for myself, but I don't know if they are selling same products (or maybe they do, but whit different name codes) here, so can't help that much. As the best series in here are W and X series and we don't even have Z series. Only thing what is certain, if this is your first LCD tv, don't get upset if all the tv programs looks worse than whit normal "old tech" tv's. Just thinking as that Tv sounds to me really expensive, I would recomend to take a look of Pioneers Tv's if there is still some to buy (as they stoped making them because the times are "bad" in all over the world so they had to cut back on something and as it's not theyr main business it was the first thing that had to go).. but they have won lot of rewards. And I consider them best tv's money can buy, but as I cannot afford Pioneer.. I'm mostly looking for Sony's and Samsung's.. both have leading technology. Allso heard lot of good about panasonic.. mostly about theyr plasma tv's, but also theyr LCD's.

I sometimes have wondered this too, but only problem is that you cannot go over your CA limit what your focus gives as it won't help that much. Like if your max level by some focus to that type of CA is 10.. reading more runes makes it only grow 10.2.. 10.4 or so it won't be anything usefull if you don't have tons of useless runes. Only way to "bend" this rule, is to get your focus much higher than your character level to get higher rune levels and more power out of it. So I don't see you could have super high "hard hit" as you could in S1, as your focus will lower your damage anyway. Just saying this, because I don't believe it's possible to create such CA that can one hit kill boss at your level. But in theory you could make a combo out of max level attacks and use concentrartion potions so you can use it whiout delay. But I have to admit, I only have really low level toons so this whole thing can be just happen on lower levels.

Okey, this is probably really silly thing but am I only one who hates stupid math? I understand when something is 2 + 2 or 2 * 2 or X + 2Y = 3 etc.. There is only one way to really count what is the result. But I have allways hated questions like "Car travells 550 miles at speed of 100mph, when it will reach destination?" There is too much variables that can alter the result so it's not possible to know the real answer on question like that. What if the car even ever can go that far.. maybe there is a car crash and driver is killed and the car is on tow truck when it finaly reaches destination. That can take days. How you can use math on that? Could your really use math to determine when you arive at destination if you don't know how others in the traffic drives or how lights change at crossroads? Reason why I brought up this is because I just made test in Facebook (add funny joke here about facebook and something about how accurate results usually are) where my math IQ was tested and on the last question went something like this (of course it was in Finnish so I have to translate it): "How long it takes to put lumber/tree into 12 pieces if sawing (if that's even a real word lol, not my best grammar and translater can't help me out here) it into 6 pieces takes 10 minutes" And I know the real answer to this question, because I'm working on a sawmill. And the answer is...... drum roll.... prrrrrrrrrrrr.. it depens how fast your sawmill line is. I can say for certain that if the pieces doesn't have to be same size, you can saw any amount of pieces in the same time. If you want 12 same size pieces, it depes on what type of sawmill you have. I have experiences on band saw and circular saw and the results vary too much to use math in real world. Please tell me if you got similar facts to tell.. I certainly will use your experiences if I ever going to see such question and challenge theyr oppinion if it's right or wrong in math terms. I just believe in pure math that can tell the truth and not suspect things that aren't true.

So far useless combat arts: Inquisitor: Mortifying Pillory - Turn foe as outlaw.. why to do so when you can kill them instead? Paralyzing Dread - Slow down foe.. whitout mods, this is completely useless as big monsters hit hard, not fast. Whit 60s cooldown time, it's just useless. Many of "boost" type of spells are useless for my opinion, but some may find them usefull.

Just did the main quest in closed and currently at lvl29 whit reg time of 415s or so and whit 76% chance to reflect.. still way too much reg time to be usefull. Alltho one of the mini bosses killed himself while using godspell.

Putting in many attributes, but haven't seen any difference on regen time. Only thing that seem to work is divine devotion skill and good thing those element stones (what ever they are called) comes whit +2 divine devotion so it's 6 points for free into it. I'll update if I see any real change. I just hope I'll find the time to level up this toon to see if it could turn out to be really powerfull reflector...

Currently lvl23 character, whit level 30 divine devotion. Gives me lvl21.1 god spell whit 75% chance to reflect and regen time is only 457s .. looking good so far. I think it could drop less than 100s at some point.

I had this crazy idea of a toon, whit high chance of reflecting damage back to the foe and best spell in this game to do it, is Forens spell (only good god spell in my opinion) and as SW has allready a CA that can reflect damage back and overall can take most damage whitout dying, it was the best choice for Divine Devotion-build. Anyone know if these two stack, and how about those items whit chance to reflect? Main goal is to get god spells regen time down to 30-60s (whit 15s duration) or so and currently at lvl15 or 16 it's allready way under 600s (yeah it's alot, but every level in this skills reduces it's regen time around 20-25s and at lvl75 it should reduce regen time even faster) Just wondering if anyone has wasted theyr time to ever build one or am I just wasting my time to get this ever working? Not worried if it's going to work.. SW is a tank and even if I would waste 75 or more points to Divine Devotion, it can still kill fast enought for me and stay alive.

Doesn't sound good deal to me either. Sacred 2 will loose value faster than graphic card.

If I had to choose, I would get it on PS3 as I would never buy Xbox as it doesn't have any good games what I or any of my friends would play (no party games like Buzz, Singstar or best rally game Gran Turismo or best figting game Tekken) and everyone who has owned xbox/xbox360 has said it's broken..

Aaargh!.. F3 Addict here looking for help from other junkies for getting of this drug called fallout 3! ..if anyone else is even playing it? Allready completed it atleast 4 times and allways I end up starting a new character even they did poor job on the skillpoints, perks and s.p.e.c.I.a.l as everyone of them feels really much alike the other one, even how different style you try. It's the time to give up on F3 before they release more updates on it... heard rumours of lot of good stuff, so help! Maybe then I could finaly pick up my Sacred 2 dvd case and install it again (and download hundred patches in a week so I could play online ) ..

- S3 should have better storyline than in first sacred and in sacred 2. Story that would make me want to complete my greater goal (main quest) atleast ones. Something that makes it more like adventure than running around where the compass points and kill all the random foes that comes near you. Sometimes you should be able to use non-violent way also or use random items around the map to kill foes (like dropping a huge rocks from higher ground or something similar) - Less useless and boring sidequests in series of "go there, kill them, find this" and replace them whit quests that gives more unique type of rewards and maybe even let try things what are not possible otherwise (like use other characters some spell or something in purpose of getting something). Something that makes me want to find and complete all of them just to see what they can come up next or just to get some item/rune/some sort of medal/special add to my CA.. to make my character even better. Also it should effect on your karma or something similar, what type of quests you are taking. Like if you are taking only killing sidequests, you would receive some "perk" or amulet or what ever what gives you permanent boost into your weapon lore and armor and loose some barter skills and make your character more evil as long as you are doing only killing. Same thing if you like to do helping out nice guys to find something they can't find, you would get similar effect, but you should then gain barter skills, maybe boost to constitution and make your character more of good guy. - This leads to one big problem.. dark and light side.. good and bad, which currently has no difference or I haven't seen it yet. They should have huge differences so the player has more options to choose from and even during his andventure player should have opportunity to turn good or bad by doing good stuff or bad. This good vs. bad system is too big for me to come up in so sort of time whitout anything getting it even if I would came up whit totaly perfect balance, so I'll leave this to Ascaron if they ever even plan to even make S3 or use this anymore in it. I just say, it should have major impact on skills, CA damages, barter prices and everything else that matters the most. No win-win situation is the best result. some ideas that came in mind in a few minutes..

9528 3DMarks.. dunno if it's good or bad this was whit standard settings. Currently my windows is so messed up, I don't know does it have some effect on the performance.. let's see if it gets any better after fresh install I'm about to do in few days (or maybe atleast somepoint when I bother to do it lazy..)

Autumn? long gone.. It's winter over here allready. Snow on the ground and really slippery roads even whit winter tires. Don't know if they'r going to stay or not, but better bit ice than raining all the time, like this autumn has been.. same as the whole summer. But really good looking pictures.

Been playing it past few days... had to try it and got hooked. I like it alot. Vats system is actually pretty good and as shoot'em'up it's pretty good too. Don't think I'm that far yet, but I just cannot get enought from the nostalgy of Fallout. All the old stuff is still there like nukakola, old weapons, humor.. Pipboy3000 (cannot sleep anywhere I want anymore and heal myself) and ability to use inventory whitout time penalty are two minuses. Creating character is also a pain if compared to the ritual in F2 you had to do.. as in F3 you have to watch long videos and live the whole life taking over half an hour and that's too much in my opinion and should be able to skip. But other than that, I have liked the game by far more than Sacred 2

The feeling is not the same anymore. - Items are not as interesting as before.. I don't get that rush of looking forward for good RSM belt or boots or whatever like in S1. Trading doesn't feel as interesting as before. - Combat Arts, too much buffs, too little different moves = too limited ways to build a character. Only one interesting character. Inquisitor. - New CA time system - Level desing, too tube like, not feel like open world anymore. Mountains or trees are blocking your way where ever you move (atleast in the parts where I have been), same problems as whit underworld parts in first sacred.

Sorry, have to say.. Sacred Underworld > Sacred Plus > Sacred 2 > Diablo 2 > other similar games... Still pretty good game, as D2 was a good game even it has it flaws in my taste. Same thing whit Sacred 2. Those things are too major to be fixed anymore.. as they are choses that have been made when the game was on the drawingboard.

I did go see it yesterday and like I thought.. it was not as good as games, but still better I thought in overall. Whit better actors, better production and whit blood flying out of everywhere it would been great movie. Now it's just good. And only because the last 30mins of the movie was any good.. Mark Wahlberg is a terrible actor and should not ruin any more good films. Better choices for this role would have been Dean Winters (who looks and sounds like max payne in the game) or Edwart Norton. They would been able to bring the darkness of this character more alive. Also the writer and director of this movies should have take more from the game and less made up by themselfs, as all they have added has no purpose in this movie. Lot of stuff should have been left on the editing room (like most of the movie from the start). I bet this movie would be much better whit better editing.. maybe shorter, but hey this is made so quickly I am impressed how much good stuff there was.

Yeah, it was big shock.. today planning to build some sort of gravestone this evening when my ex-gf comes to my place. Allready shaped cat figure out of wood at work and now planning to put some orange texture over it (similar what they use on pooltables and poker tables, don't know what it's called) and print his picture into it and wrap it up whit plasticwrap (is it even a word? ..oh well it's the closest I can think of) adding a picture later how it came out..

that's how I felt yesterday.. took some beer and tried to drown my sorrow. Good thing my ex-girlfriend kind of understanded what I felt as they were our cats. Last night I may have been bit drunk when I posted that.. felt that way even tho friends tried to help and ask how I feel and listen to my problems.. now I can see that, yesterday I didn't. It's hard to see what happens around you when you are angry, sad and been drinking some. Talked to the vet today and he was sorry about my loss and was offering half price examination, but I felt it was not needed as it won't bring my cat back. He said it could be a organ failior.. possibly heart, liver or kidney problems and even some sort of tumor was one of what he suspected. There's nothing I can do about it anymore, so I hope it didn't have much pain when the time came. Sad thing, but the healing will start today. I'll never forget that cat. Just have to think all the good memories and hope my other cat will have a long and healthy life.

ok.. now it's yet another sad day. Today came from work I found my cat dead on my bed it just brings just so many questions.. like would it be still alive if I miss'd work and stayed home or would it been even worse to see it die in front of my eyes as vet opens 2h after my work starts? If the cat would be still be alive while getting to the vet, could they done anything to save it? Or was it my fault I even took it to the doctor in the first place and then whitout knowing let him kill my cat whit his medicine and treatment, as before I took it to vet, it was fine.. smal bite wound on the side (my other cat did that), but nothing else mattered. Worst thing in all this is my mother just put to sleep our old cats that we had over 14-15years just like week a go or so.. they were old and sick, so I think it was better for them, but loosing now a young cat for something so stupid like human error.. it just makes me mad and sad. So 3 cats lost in a week.. what a week.. loved those cats very much and it feels like I just lost a three family members in short period of time. I hope I don't need to start another sad day-post for a long time.. ps. Why can't I edit my first post anymore.. would have changed Topic Description to fit better.. this was not a day that had to happen. post scriptum X 2. and nobody cares.. like I thought so

When I first heard that song I hoped it was not on Sacred 2 as I didn't like it at all, but it's too late now... good thing someone likes it

Some time back I posted thread in SIF about this movie too and my thoughts haven't changed that much.. still don't know should I see it or not. PG13 sounds really bad and reviews has said that game fans don't find it any good and people that hasn't played it, says "you don't have to be played it, to understand it. How good it is." Hitman movie was good, but not great. I suspect this one is ok, but not that good. Still... it's hard to tell, am I going to see it or not. I would more like to see the real version of max payne.. independent version.
