stubbie 21
Want to play D2 again....but hate the old video resolutions? Then THIS mod is your saviour! It was posted over in the SIF by Wraithmage. This mod allows you to play the game in much higher resolutions. You need to have LoD installed and patched up to 1.12a. I am currently playing on my 1680 x 1050 widescreen and it looks great. Highly recommended. Oh.....and it fills in the time while waiting for the Sacred 2 servers to be fixed. Link to comment

Stéphane 2
Be careful though, I heard that blizzard don't allow this mod on his servers (battlenet) because it's extend the range way too much. Very powerful with caster and ranged weapons. However it's very nice for SP Link to comment

Chareos Rantras 0
dang my CD's broke so I only play it on my laptop where I had it installed. And since my laptop doesn't have widescreen 1680*1050 like my game pc has, I probably won't try it. UNLESS my sister gets the urge again to play it (yes she's loves the game) and decides to buy a new copy . cheers! Chareos Rantras Edited July 27, 2009 by Chareos Rantras Link to comment

stubbie 21
If someone could please explain why, as a widescreen user, I should be hooraying I would be most grateful...... - Support for blit scaling in windowed mode. The game can now bemaximized to the largest 4:3 resolution supported (hooray widescreen users). .......because I can see no option anywhere to increase my resolution past 800x600 Link to comment
Spunky 16
Are you trying to change the resolution in-game? if I'm not completely wrong here there should be a exe file in the Diablo 2 folder that let's you change it before going into the game. I'm sure I'm completely off track here, so just ignore this as it has been ages since I had played D2 Link to comment

The game can now bemaximized to the largest 4:3 resolution supported (hooray widescreen users). .......because I can see no option anywhere to increase my resolution past 800x600 I think this is related to the fact that they added the maximize button to the Diablo 2 Window. If you press it, it will scale the window to your resolution (which is pretty ugly here @ 1920x1080). I tried to search about what Spunky said about the file in the Diablo 2 folder, but no luck. I even searched in the registry too, still no luck. Max Link to comment
