Woody 24 Posted September 4, 2009 Share Posted September 4, 2009 I saw many of you using xFire with 2.43 patch. But after installing 2.43 patch, xfire doesn't work at all for me. When I start the game while xfire is open, the line "Engine ready, executing <autoexec.txt>" appear and... disappear. The game closes. For start the game, I must disable xFire. I haven't changed parameters before installing this patch. Anyone have a solution ? Thanks Link to comment

This problem appears with 2.31 version of the game (if I've well understand). I try to make some modifications in xfire game file... ___ Yeah, good news ! Tonight I'll try to reformat my harddisk, maybe it can work after that. If it doesn't work, I'll send a message to the xFire team. If I have any news, I'll post it here. Link to comment

I hope you get this fixed. I like x-fire for videos / chatting alot off friends in other games ( wolfseye, Decepticons, Kameko, Greenlab, L0v3_m3 ) & sacred commity . But since Sacred 2 hated me running wista 64 bit. I use my pc 32 bit vista... but core 1 and Sacred 2 + x-fire. BUT I've tried to modifying the xfire game file again, and it works with it now. It's very strange... Bad line :LauncherDirKey=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\sacred2.exe\Path Correct line : LauncherDirKey=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\sacred2.exe Now you can add me to xfire (twoodelven), but I can't promise it will work forever...
