The speed result was too high or too low

The speed test will not accept results that are negative or too high for the indicated connection type. This test was not counted. /rofl

its suppose to be around 3k/3k but quite frequently its a bit higher :)

ankhanu I'd definitly give em a call man

I really hope it's something ez they can fix fast

cable definitely should be faster than what yer gettin

And...if yer speed has been down fer a while...don't ferget to ask for remuneration.

WE got sixty bucks back for the whole year cuz our dsl was improperly set up for us letting us run at one FIFTH the supposed speed

I could totally ramp that up if I wan't going from the modem to my wireless router then to my my computer, but I can usually get 200k/s on bit torrents and that's all that really matters.

QoS in Windows XP

Per default installation XP has installed a service called "QoS"

you can find this if you select properties on your local area connection if this is aktive it can reserve up to 20% of your bandwidth :) (so uninstall it) :)

Well...I must say I'm happy to see that almost everyone here is on broad band or high speed.

Putting in lots of new features, Flash, and other goodies is kinda the way we see this forum goin, but balancing it against the finances of our community is always kinda tricky.

Glad that we all seem to be on the same page here.

More graphical delights on their way

:)

Well, seems my provider is not on their lists, but I pay about 45 usd a month. Not worth it. But well, that's what happens when you let a monopolizing phone company grow out of control (aka Telmex). Smaller ISP's like mine can't lower their prices.
