Archvile 0
Hello everyone. My apologies if there was already a topic on this, tried to search but couldn't find what I'm looking for, neither through google too. So currently playing through Sacred 2 with the CM patch and the EE mod from Flix, and all is good, but I'm the person who likes to try and do all the stuff that is there, so in terms of quests, I'd like to do as many of them as possible. I understand that there are 2 "paths" (good and bad) to take which add more quests, but for the time being I'm only concerned with quests available to 1 good-side character. Already made a mistake with a teddy bear quest, I took both the toy and the little bear (didn't know I should take the toy), came back to the girl, she ran away (literally) with the bear, and I got 2 red circled on the map, which after googling seems like I could get her the toy and then get back for the little bear and grow him for another quest. Kinda closed my eyes to this, though in Sacred 1 I'd just load a save, while here I think there are no save slots for 1 char, so like it always overwrites? In any case, in regards to doing all the quests, I found on the wiki that there's a list of all of them sorted by region or alphabet, but what I'm looking for, is some sort map of Ancaria with dots where there are quests to be taken, or a list in-game showing which I haven't done/have done. I don't need any walkthroughs of the quests or their end points of them atm, just don't want to not see a quest in some corner of a map I might miss, or in a place I pass through several times and just miss by accident. I plan to explore the map to the max as well, but sometimes the quest just takes me to some other place which is rather far away, which mixes up my careful advance. Also, I've read that if you take a lot of them and do at the same time, they bug out sometimes, so it's good to do them 1 by 1, which certainly doesn't help in my mission of completing all of them, since otherwise I could just take a quest as soon as I see one. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance. Link to comment
Popular Post Androdion 884
Oh my, what you ask is borderline impossible mate. They're just too many! If your idea is to reveal the whole map just go with it and explore, talk to every NPC and do your thing. If you miss out on something you can always "correct" that in the next difficulty level. Have fun. 2 Link to comment
Popular Post Hooyaah 2,827
Androdion is correct, Archvile, as what you are asking for would be a massive undertaking. All of the quests are not even included at the wiki. My suggestion is that you backup your character file after each time you finish playing for the day and if you find something that you missed out on because of your choice, or another reason or concern, you may then load it and start back from that point. Something else that will help you find the side quests and level up faster is to explore. Cover the entire massive world of Ancaria and look for loot while you explore and you will find many interesting items, sights, and other surprises. It's your game now, so make it your world! 1 1 Link to comment
Archvile 0
Thank you very much for the replies. Sorry if I assumed it could be done or had been done before, my assumption was based on the fact that I saw a substantial list of those quests on the wiki, so I thought well most of the job is probably done, and maybe someone wanted to put that job on a map so to say. If I may, I would like to ask just 2 more last things then - 1) Could someone confirm that it's better to do quests 1 by 1, even with the CM patch, or it's ok do pick up a bunch and do them together? 2) How to backup my character files in more details, as Hooyaah suggested I would be grateful for the info and hopefully that would be enough to correct any mistakes I make while exploring Sacred :) Link to comment
Popular Post Androdion 884
You shouldn't have any issues in picking up all quests in a town at once, for instance, and I think the quest scripts have been fixed as much as they could be. One thing I can advice you about is escort quests, as some may involve NPCs that die, hence doing those one at a time may be more reasonable than doing them all at once. Other than that you can just open the map and alternate between quest pointers at will. Some chain quests are incredibly long and may involve travelling far away so it may also be easier to do those separately as you may find it hard to keep up with the chain quest otherwise. If you have I&B and run the Blood Forest be warned that the main quest in that area doesn't automatically trigger, first time you do it you may need to resort to the Wiki to pick up all the steps. Lord knows I need to do it sometimes. To do what Hooyaah mentions you need to go to the save file directory on your pc and copy the save files for your char to a different location. Then if you want to backpedal you just copy them back. 2 Link to comment

This would be a very cool, new filter for a map gogo Link to comment
