Armor V.S. Riding

Frosty has made a comparsion tweenst a decision between Armor and Riding.

I've never even thought of comparing a reduction in value of hits as armor offers with movement speed v.s. what Riding offers with extra hp, fast movement speed and modified Ca's.

 

Has anyone here actually NOT taken armor in favor of Riding?

 

I'd be interested in hearing about reasons you did and how it has/had affected your buld.

Interesting answer. So in response to this, do you then always put yer bm on a horse to give it the extra hp that the bm is not alllowed by having the armor choice?

Actually no. I usually just use horse for traveling. I don't need the extra HP, even in niob. I don't tank at all that's why.

 

The only mage I took riding as a build is my melee mage, he needs the HP.

Hmmm interesting one, I am contemplating my last skill to be riding for my new vamp....then again horses don't run around in caves....I might actually try out a new toon using Riding over armor and see how it pans out
