xInquisitor1961x 49
So... I got armor that base price is 120 000 gold. I went to Braverock and I could sell it for value between 120 000 and ( 220 000) . I went to Porto Vallum, then, and when I went to the merchant in Porto valum, price was 75 000 to 450 000. Why did the base value drop and max value increased ? And is that good or bad ? EDIT: even in Porto vallum 2 same item pricesare different LOL. Near blacksmith price 499m then at the waypoint price is 1139 LOL Edited January 11, 2022 by xInquisitor1961x Link to comment
Lindor 438
The game is split into regions. When you do enough side quests in one region, the character will say "Diese Region ist befriedet" on entering the region and you get a little flag on the minimap that shows which regions are "befriedet". In those "befriedet" regions you get better prices for everything and merchants offer better gear. There are also few certain quests which influence the prices of merchants in a region. I'm sorry, I've been searching for the english translation of the "befriedet" term, couldn't find it neither in sacred wiki nor Wolfe's Lair. Link to comment

Shouldnt they go up anyway ? Yesn't The question is: Do they drop on the same merchant as you level up? As I said, different merchants have different prices depending on the quests you completed. If they do drop on the same merchant: I'm not sure how exactly price calculation works. Sacred is a game where no information about ingame mechanics was given from the developers, everything had to be figured out by the players/community and it was a lot of fun. The thing about price calculation is, in normal Sacred it's irrelevant enough so that nobody really cares enough to do in-depth research on that. Normally you have tons of gold available for your char and the only two instances where gold matters are: Neophystis (The Hell Smith), he is VERY expensive for a smith Trading characters But since you can easily duplicate any item you got (which is intentional I believe), you'd normally just choose a very expensive item, duplicate it a bunch of times and sell everything to gain infinite money. Or do the quicksave/quickload trick (that speedrunners use) on a quest that gives you lots of money. This is not intentional though, it's an exploit. I know you play Sacred your own way, I know that gold is really important for you, but I can only give you some ideas on what might influence the item values. I can't do more than that. Level - a level 50 item will of course be significantly worse in level 70, so comparing item level to char level might influence the price (unconfirmed) Trading skill (confirmed) Charisma (unconfirmed. some say yes, some say no) The merchant Is the region "befriedet"? (confirmed) Did you do the region bosses? (unconfirmed) Is there a quest which influences this particular merchants prices? (confirmed) Do the different merchants have natural price differences? (unconfirmed) Survival bonus (unconfirmed) The difficulty (confirmed) The game mode (unconfirmed) The party member count (unconfirmed) Your progress in the main questline (unconfirmed) the +% gold from enemies bonus (unconfirmed) You can either do your own research (and maybe share it with us) or you can wait for eternity until you're lucky enough to find someone who has the knowledge you're looking for, being it through a look at the games code or ingame testing, and is kind enough to provide it. 1 1 Link to comment
xInquisitor1961x 49
Oh wow! I didn't expect such a long post LOL, I didn't even expect you will find my last account from last year LOL! Yep that is why I ask, even now I still play like that New char, UNARMED Vampiress, I am level 70 atm, almost all skills maxed out, spent around 400 milion gold already LOL. Magic find is on 280% (700) That is why I asked, I am curious how to boost up my economy, I am still playing in silver, I want to grind first and then continue, will sale prices increase on gold difficulty ? It's also really strange how I get minimal amount on sell, I never got full price even when my trading is on max... My build so far xd Magic find = 35 milion ( 700x50000 gold) Edited January 11, 2022 by xInquisitor1961x Showing build xD Link to comment
