Negative mods in Sacred 2?

Err...is it actually taking away from my chance to freeze oppoenents?

 

 

Does this kind of negative modding happen everywhere in the game?

 

Sheesh...lol, Sacred 2 just got even more harder with the balancing.

Could be opponents chance to freeze (YOU implied) possibly...I have a unique item like that that has -x% chance to burn so I THINK it is for them to freeze/burn you...if you look at some of the Dryad runes I believe they have a similar text pertaining to this exact thing

heh, hope you guys are right... Sacred 2 all of sudden started to get "heavy"

I certainly read it as; lowers the opponents ability to freeze.

Its a bit ambiguous I guess.

Being a shield perhaps the mod should read; Resistance to freeze +8.3%.

 

But I guess that would not be 100% correct, as it's lowering the opponents ability to freeze.

Its a rather strange mod when you think about it.

A shield lowering an opponents ability seems weird.

But I'm probably overly scrutinising this lol.

 

There are many mods like this in the game.

No Gogo, the item mod does what it says it does, it reduces their chance to freeze you. Improving your "resistance" to freezing/burning/etc would be a whole different mod (though I can't remember whether it's in or not, I would assume so).

You'll find many mods that reduce the opponents chance to do something against your character
