Sacred 2 Character Achievements

Recommended Posts

I added this to another thread, but I thought it might deserve it's own. I'll remove it from the original one.

Is there some sort of bonus, something unlocked, by getting achievements (reaching lv 5 is Respectable for example)? I know many of them, but not if they're worth trying to get.

Most of those "achievements" are acquired through normal play:

Level 5 (any character)

Level 15 (each character independantly)

Level 35 (any character)

Reach Main quest in Human, Orc, Seraphim, Dragon, Swamp, Desert, Jungle, Jungle Isle, Wasteland (each is 1 separate achievement)

Finish Light Campaign

Finish Shadow Campaign

Those should all be acquired in Bronze/Silver, without really trying. You'd obviously need two characters (one Light, one Shadow), to get the last ones.

But there are others, more obscure achievements, and I'm wondering if there's some sort of bonus to unlocking them, sort of like the stuff you can get in Star Ocean Til The End of Time, by collecting battle trophies (which range from easy "Reach lv 10" to insanely hard "Beat Freya in 4D Difficulty Alone"), at some % ratio of them (there are 300), you unlock character outfits, then a sound test, Universe Difficulty, 4D Difficulty, and Full-Active Mode.

Best ongoing list so far I've found is here that glenn3e is collecting on the SIF.

Ambler - ?

Annealer - Use the Blacksmith.

Ascaron Fan - Get the Empty Office quest and explore around.

Bargainer - Sell lots of loot at once. 47?

Beam me up! - Open your first portal.

Bookworm - Read a number of books

Butcher - Hit 70% of damage against one enemy type. Look at Sigma to see this.

Dragonslayer - Kill a few dragon type enemies.

Dreadnought - ?

Easy Rider - ? Get the mount/special mount, use it a lot.

Fashion Police - Collect and equip a full set.

GlobeTrotter/Explorer - ? Uncover a % of the map, activate a number of portals.

Hawker - Trade with other players enough ?

Journeyman - Complete a number of quests.

Legendary - Hit Level 35.

Lorain's Hero/Treehugger/Vengeful Spirit/Living Monument/Blessed - Hit Level15. Class based.

Medicine Man - Use a LOTLOTLOT of pots.

Millionaire - Hit 1 Million gold.

Polytheist - Finding a lot of temples. All?

Reputable - Hit Level 5

Slaughterer - 10,000 kills.

Team player - Multiplayer?

Tomb Raider - Open a number of graves.

Wanderer - Complete a certain main quest in Act 5.

And Llama actually mentions in that topic that the achievements are supposed to give us bonuses, but they're not working yet. I hope this isn't a case of the "books bonus" from Sacred, where if you collected all the books there was supposed to be some prize... and that never panned out.

These are really cool, Sara thanks. I guess I'll create an Achievements section in the wiki.

To get less than 20% of the map, you more or less have to stick to roads and only doing your main and classquest. Doing this and being pretty straight-forward would still be pretty close to 20%. Forget sidequests if they even make you stray a little from the road.

I suggest doing this in Bronze, and in Silver and subsequent difficulties doing everything (sidequests, optional bosses, Blind Guardian quest, reaching heights of map exploration %).

I do wonder if the achievements are tied to character or account. Say I did a Seraphim, got the Finish Light and a bunch of other achievements. Then started ANOTHER Seraphim from scratch, would she get all of that as well?

The achievements certainly don't "do" anything at the moment, personally, I'd like them to be like the achievements in Mythos, whether they will or not is another kettle of fish.

The source would have been a dev responding to questions about the achievements on the XBox forum. I've no idea if they are going to "do" anything, but I hope so (since it would be nice).

Okay, I just put a new page onto the SacredWiki here:

Sacred 2 Achievements

I'm running off to work, and I can't access internet for the next eight hours :P If anyone here has time and can add the titles and explanations we have so far that would be awesome! If not, when I come back home, I'll just drop them in myself. Put, the three new titles are cool, I'm curious about what's being given out in Niobium now ^^

Although I haven't seen it, there probably are:

Finish Platinum without dying.

Finish Niobium without dying.

Reach Niobium.

If you play Hardcore, you sorta won't have a choice in the matter...but it's not as simple as it seems to do it all without dying once. Even if I die much less often than my friend (who's died over 50 times now). I still have died around 12 times (and am mid-Gold).

Do you mean do these achievements range across all our created toons? I don't think so. I've got a few toons now in HC, and they all have different achievements depending on what they've done.

Is this what you meant?

So, if I want the Complete Mainquest without discovering more than 20% of map, I better do that with every character, rush to the Nameless Guardian, watch the ending, return to Bronze in the beginning, do all sidequests, explore everywhere yada yada? Because if I tried with a Dryad, or a High Elf, after doing my Seraphim, it would be to do all over again?

This is actually pretty hard unless you're being careful about not moving further than you should. Like "power-level" in the jungle (cause there's a ton of enemies) to be able to keep your HC character alive AND get the achievement. The "Not buying anything" achievement is quite easy. It doesn't count rune-trading or forging, so just be self-sufficient for Bronze with the items you find. Should be easy especially if you're not too equipment-dependant (or are lucky).

I updated my profile if anyone is interested to chat real time. Though I do go to sleep, and work too.

Okay, I can confirm that completing Bronze with a Seraphim doing only Mainquest and Classquest (and Hold Up and Bandits, cause they're on the way), brings the total max explored at 19.3%, so the achievement "Less than 20% map explored when finishing game" is acquirable in normal (rush) play.

I finished it at level 30, and I never stopped to level up more, though I killed everything on my way. No deaths as well, with my Seraphim.

Where did you get all those potions? :)

Heh, I had to throw 200 away by scrapping/selling them. I put 400 in my shared stash, and about 120 in my personal one. I still have over 500 Light Health Potions on me.

I had to get rid of Blue, Yellow, Green and Purple ones too, but not as much, I put them in my personal stash, what exceeded 200 of each.

LoL, tbh, I'm impressed there ought to be an achievement for collecting

that many potions.

Frankly, I use more potions to keep hirelings/escorts alive than I do for myself, though it helps that monsters cap at 19 in this region and I'm 25...

I beat 7 optional bosses so far.

It's Perseverance only, no 'Heroic' in description. Got it on my SW, though no idea why.

Vengeful Spirit is for SW level 15 not Living Monument

Lone Ranger-not listed. Not sure on prerequisite needed
