  1. Alright, heading down to the store to check it out...I'll load up on popcorn and wine for this one gogo
  2. Thanks for the update Carolyn! gogo
  3. BHJ, you're so evil...we all know how helpless Schot is in the face of these things... baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad gogo
  4. Yeah they were a let down...not only did I never get my family, but later on I found out they were shrimp... sigh gogo
  5. First off Arafinwe, welcome to DarkMatters! And... heh, your first question here is regarding a character class I've hardly ever touched... I'm not sure what would be best for your build at this point, I'm sure though that others from the community will show up who have more expertise that I do on this. gogo
  6. Unless they used some of those janet jackson BLEEP shields...no wardrobe malfunctions in Sacred gogo
  7. lol, knuckles, you know...that's always been one of my primary fears here with new users...that they miss that View New Posts button and it's functionality. This forum has about 150 to 200 posts going up a day, so it's easy to lose stuff. The cool thing about the View New Post Functionality is the animation that Brad has created when looking at the page that spawns...all posts that have been unread by you have active sacred mini-animated portals...and if they are read, the portals are static and not active. gogo
  8. Will this method give the sausages a browned look? Mine came out looking pretty pale gogo
  9. Excellent...okay, I've got the onions, a good pan and a lid and a bunch of sausages...I'm figgering I'll cook em all at once, this way I can use em out during the next few days. Ty! gogo p.s. lol, love that part about sacrificing a sausage...Oy!
  10. How do you cook them ari? And the onions sounds good. In oil, broth, water? How about how long... and at what temperature please gogo
  11. I was at the local loblaws with a friend of mine who has a car...this is the kind of shopping place where it seems like the aisles go on for miles and miles.... and I couldn't believe how cheap meat was... I was able to pick up like 16 decent sized italian spicy sausages for 3.90 Sausage isn't something my family usually eats, and the novelty of buying something that was so inexpensive but that looked so spicy and red-blooded was compelling. Thing is... lol, I am clueless on how to cook them. I stuck one in a frypan with water and then....sort of boiled it for about an hour...it came out tasty...but, dunno...seemed like it was missing something. Is there some kind of sausage cooking technique that I'm missing out on here? gogo
  12. lol, I remember seeing ads for these things when I was but a ha child. I would look at the cartoon illustrations in comic books and just yearn for the day when as a grownup, I too, would actually be able to afford a home for those friendly sea monkeys which were guaranteed to make me popular with all of my friends and perform tricks with flashlights that would oooo everyone from miles around. Course I forgot about them when school started... But today, when clicking on Random videos on youtube.... Rejoice...Seamonkeys have once again entered my life. This time with a superb video on what the little buggers were all this time! Seriously though it's a very entertaining video gogo
  13. lol, now I feel like going and finding that first book...Terry Goodkind really brought a ton of new concepts to life in that novel. Some of the stuff that poured out of his mind onto paper was so fresh...something the fantasy genre needed. That's one thing I'll say about this author...he really knows how to push the envelope. gogo
  14. When I look at it I just want to deep-fry it gogo
  15. wow, that's a gorgeous pic of loot there Tim...now I wanna go get stuff too! gogo
  16. oh boy, I just saw that nautillus thingy in the new sacred 2 movie http://www.gametrailers.com/player/31072.html ....yes it's neat ( I guess) yes the tentacles look... er...they move ... but... I don't know what it is with Sacred and I guess my taste in design? I want more of the grotesque, the gruesome. If you look back at a lot of the stuff that is Sacred Myth...it's pretty much all staid stuff...scorpions, spiders, skeletons, and now a giant octopus... Where's the cool creepies I say, bring em out...bring on the giger. This was one of the things I'd really enjoyed from playing Guild Wars...that insane art. Guildwars would always surprise me over and over, their stuff was macabre, dark and spooky. Is Sacred forever madeto be a land of classic skeletons, orcs, trolls and...er..spiders? What if they stuck in a cool giger zone...and we had stuff like this: A darker day indeed! gogo
  17. Hi Dark, as mentioned up above, any item can do any damage, depending on what is listed on the item's stat sheet. You can have a weapon that only does fire damage, as well as, let's say a weapon that does fire AND physical damage...two types. Plus each weapon can have it's own mods that mod attributes or skills, thereby increasing again the damage that the weapon does by increasing, for example, strength...which increases your damage done with a small percentage of fire ^^ http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sleep%27s_Brother I'm pretty sure that all weapons do physical damage for starters...am I right here guys? HOwever, lol...most monsters have the highest resistance to physical damage as well Quick write up of sockets here as well: http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sockets gogo
  18. I love this series. But...I see problems with them adapting the first novel to the screen. There's that torture scene with the main character and the girl...like something out of hostel...worse, cuz it's all in our minds..and some of the imagery is downright spooky...like that kid buried in the sand kidnapped from his parents for a month and then fed gruel that was magicked to be his favorite food? With the last feeding turned into boiling hot lead killing the child and then transforming him into a carrier to the underworld for the evil wizard? Some pretty gruesome imagery...I'll be astonished if Disney does a half decent adaption of this. gogo
  19. Nasa, late to the game... gogo
  20. Rbol's a must have for pretty much any hybrid beauty these days. The damage, is half and half phys/magic...so you've got a pretty good spread. Remember also that seraphims also have almost no defensive buffs at all, no way to lessen or negate any types of elemental damage that way. They can move pretty fast, and have a great choice of Combat Arts to get out of harms way or to land those first crucial attacks (combat jump) . As she has no buffs like that, she relys very much on leeching. Leeching is what's going to keep you alive in the higher levels. The rbol is extremely useful for use anywhere in the game, and you should think about maxing it out as quickly as possible with as many runes secreted about yourself cleverly, via weapon slots: http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Weapon_Slots Or switching on armor with boosted rbol levels, and the occasional read rune. Remmber, you want to make sure that you've always got one to cast immediately as soon as the rbol wears off. And if you really want to have some fun, carrying around armor pieces with built in boosts to the rbol and then flipping it on to cast the rbol and then taking it back off can give you a substantial number of "free" levels. What to do with all that extra magic regen availalbe? SOF is very much needed for a seraphim. They miss things, lol... And casting that sof means she won't lose out on even one hit...ever. This is like a 1/7th to 3/7th increase in damage for every strike you don't miss. Course you will have to cast it...but you get used to the timing after a while... also, there is a spell called "light" Light does damage only against Undead (it's pure magic) And it scales faster than rbol. sooooo..., lol see how choices are coming up? If you want to leve your seraphim really fast, take it into an undead cave...stick on the light spell ALWAYS...and if you feel like it use the rbol. The light cuts through skellies and everything else undead like butter, with the rbol doing mop ups. Enjoy the wonderbabe gogo
  21. These ones are excellent. That interview is chock full of new goodies, and... did you guys notice how the new CA system has timer clocks per CA? Finallyl Woot! gogo
