Sacred 2 Fallen Angel X-mas Calendar
gogoblender replied to Erling's topic in Sacred 2 General Discussion
yay...nice job with the image Ascaron I'm not quite sure I understand what they mean by a new surprise everyday...does this mean that every day that pic will change? I passed my cursor all over the calendar and couldn't find a live link anywhere. I love the "tone" on this... very close to the kind of feel that Guild Wars does with their gifts for the community. gogo -

ie 6 baaaaaaad http://www.zimbra.com/blog/archives/2006/1...a_better_b.html I actually don't mind using ie seven v.s. firefox (only if forced to ). I'm a true firefoxer all the time, but when I get stuck at a friends house and want to check into the forum or wiki, ie seven seems to do a decent job. Almost gogo p.s I'm just curious as to why "companies" don't upgrade? The upgrade is free and I've never heard of any of my friends that have had a problem with it...is it because they just haven't gotten around to it? Bring out the whip! p.s.s. Does ie 6 completely make SacredWiki functionality completely unusable?

Hey EM! Check out this link here on the wiki: http://sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Interface#Armor_Properties From that pic, you can see see exactly which part of the stats listed on Armor that will add to a specific resistance. If you're trying to build up Fire resistance for example, you would have to make sure to get armor that had more "fire resistance" on it than any other kind of resistance. In the case of that pic, that particular piece of armor would add an extra 5% fire resistance to your toon when worn because of an item that was socketed into it. Number 8 on that pic shows you how the entire protection (resistance) is broken down, and tells you how much resistance each type is getting from this armor. And that nifty little button up at the top right of your character portrait (on that same wikipage scroll down or click to the "view all bonuses" section), spawns a complete listing of all your specific resistances, specific damages, complete listing of mods...etc. This will show you instantly exactly how much of each resistance you're currently wearing and whether you're on target or not. 1-keep looking for the particular resistance you're trying to build as labeled on items. 2-keep using that little button to keep track of how much your resistance is climbing to. cheers! gogo

logins are okay for me for ogame Are you really sure you got rid of the cache? try shift refresh as well gogo -
Nicely done EM You pulled off your first entry for the Sacred Oscars off with flair. Do your videos come with popcorn? gogo

Ahh, good! Gothic, does it have what you need? If it does, I'm tempted to download it myself... I use ifranview to edit eh pics, but for image manipulation itself if doesn't seem to have that extra bit that could be so useful. gogo

Hi there Chrenus, you 'll need at least 500 % to make WIDD really work for you. Check this out here in the SacredWiki: http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Wound...se_Damage_Dealt Dangerous mod, but very powerful Good luck! gogo
-
Hey Gothic, have you tried Gimp? It's free and I know it's supposed to a software that supposedly emulates photoshop but without the massive cost: http://www.gimp.org/ I know that Tim loves it. gogo

Glad you're enjoy the fun, Gothic. lol, the wiki is pretty addictive and without the help of so many contributors it would never have gotten off the ground so fast. The amount of content put up in two months is still astonishing. Welcome aboard! gogo

Possible to make SacredWiki multilanguaged?
gogoblender replied to gogoblender's topic in Sacred Wiki General Discussion
Wicked! Powerpyx, there is fantastic tables, and content on the German site that would really add more fan value to SacredWiki, if this is possible and you're okay with this, we can start to bring content over. thank you!~ gogo p.s. ahhh, you found the owners...I hope they're cool with a transfer...lol, if they're not using it for the game I wonder what they're using it for ... -
Try to do the right thing and look what happens....lol

Looking for Lorgar's amulets
gogoblender replied to griffman's topic in Sacred DarkMart (TM)....Trading floor
Love that ammie I can take a look and rifle through my toons and see what I've got and get back to you on thursday. Cheers! gogo -
Interesting With a huge amount of life leech and a very fast flurry of hits...could this help guarantee that sustained hits would help with getting a kill without too much risk? And, if you had different gauntlets with different elemental damages...much like in the way that WE's use dif bows with dif elemental values, maybe this could help by making sure that most of the damage your build is manifesting makes it through to the victim? I can see it taking a long time to kill things, but the build would still be successful no? goog

Possible to make SacredWiki multilanguaged?
gogoblender replied to gogoblender's topic in Sacred Wiki General Discussion
I'm thinking that the best option here is to have anyone interested in translating the content into their own language would probably be the best way of tackling this as what Patrolo said makes sense...translating programs are a bit to "funny" to use. Especially for reference material. Looking for anyone that's interested then! gogo p.s and good luck with your wiki, Patroclo! -

Snow
gogoblender replied to Seductive_Vampie's topic in Key Largo Beach Resort and General Discussion
You're a courageous woman, SV...couldn't have said it better. Experiencing life through the eyes of your children... If there's any thing that can get us into the spirit of adventure, it's certainly got to be the smiles that light up the faces of kids whenever they see snow. Good post! gogo -
It's fantastic Gothic. Not only does it look like you've gotten a handle on Wiki code, but, you've made it easier for everyone to easily add new lines in. Good job! gogo

Well, needless to say it feels like all of a sudden the big world of Sacred Communities is checking out SacredWiki lol.. all good...but another boatload of questions to ask...and perhaps some considerations? This morning new posts popped up over the Sacred International Forum: French Forum: Translation: "Open of Wiki Sacred:" http://forum.sacredeng.ascaron-net.com/sho...ead.php?t=45056 With a link to the official Sacred 2 French Site: "SacredWiki finally open! " http://www.sacred2.com/fr/nouvelles/nouvel...iki_online.html Italian Forum: "Sacred Wikepedia Finally Online!" http://forum.sacredeng.ascaron-net.com/sho...ead.php?t=45054 And last night I had seen that other forums written in Russian were discussing SacredWiki, and some with comments that it's only in English. See what you guys have gotten yourself into! My question now is... does anyone know if making a multi language Wiki is possible? Does google offer them a decent enough translation? Should we all just concentrate on producing primary content with using online translators...or are there any other options available for a multilingual wiki? gogo p.s. and again to everyone who's donated time to the project... Those threads in the SIF are a great note of appreciation to all of you guys...Demand like this is an international hats off to the astonishing work done by the more than 30 people who've helped out...and the list will hopefully keep growing. Nice work guys
