allthough hardly a forum regular anymore, I still hop in from time to time to read up on things. some of you might remember This about 7 years ago. and I've just returned once more from the Hospital today with a similar story, only this time ive been in there 4 days, and I will have to take bloodthinners for the rest of my life. The biggest change however will be that I will have to give up smoking at some point, which is not easy after being a chimney for the past 26 years. ( lights cigarette and ponders on what to write next ) hospital is hell, and its even worse if the nurses and doctors keep you in the bed because they wont risk a clot getting loose ( makes sense ) but with ADD and being a natural oven a hospital bed is probably the worst place to lie still, and it doesnt help much that the bed aint exactly long enough for the likes of me. what struck me most in the 4 days in the hospital and the going there etc, was how different I've reacted from the first time. I felt calm and somewhat accepting with what was happening to me. since I knew what was happening I knew what to expect and I took it as such. first off, I asked to be tested at the doctor because I thought what happened before was happening again, also when I got the phonecall that I was to be in the hospital asap, I was allready packing my bag ( unlike last time when I had nothing but the clothes I wore at the time ) and secondly I made sure everything was taken care of at home. I live alone nowadays with my 13 year old fat cat ( if the show us your pets topic is still active somewhere I'll gladly post a pic ) a friend took care of Chico and I made sure everything else was turned off and locked. its been a strange couple of days but friends came to visit and I got to peek at the unbended website from time to time to see the donations rise and rise some more ( free wifi in the hospitals YAY ) anyway .. had to get this off my chest and I'll be sure to do some posting left and right again... PS. save me a skull DreD

this!! its what I missed most in the recent games, the moment you wear an item its bound, in S1 there have been armors passed down to newer toons time and time again.. including full sets

just had to drop this here. the amount of flak this game has gotten is Rampant, and tbh I think mostly rightly so. the steam community has exploded once more. honestly though all good and bad sides of the game aside.... Sacred 1&2 vs Sacred 3 its like they made the next command & conquer without telling anyone this time its gonna be a hidden object game.

bloody hell, it was 9k something 2 days before "that one title"went live .. lets hope it keeps going ^_^

im cool with first comes first serves, as most if not all on S1 HC gave what they didn't need to others. the Piles of items on the starting island were somewhat insane at times, but it was the foremost reason the community within the game was such a tight bunch. and it didnt matter if you were in one clan or the next. and in all fairness when tryin to powerlevel someone who is trailing 10m behind you picking up everything that drops has its own charms

... going to sleep now... damn... what a game sorry I know I am usually a bit more long winded... but im kinda tired... from gorging on eyecandy

Sofar the screenshots of S3 look nice, but also a bit platformee. ( if that aint a word I just made it one ) I dont see any open world shots, and this bothers me a bit. most of us enjoyed the occasional dungeon left and right, but in the end it was allways about hordes of orcs in a desert with nowhere to run, or a bunch of illwilled darkelves bend on destruction on the open plains and the only thing saving your life was you either running away long enough for your CA to reload or hoping you brought enough pots to survive the encounter. if S3 will be a dungeonrunner like Diablo and there is no way to get lost ( I allways enjoyed getting lost in ancaria ) I probably wont pay for it, also not being able to make your own char to your liking but having to conform to preset chars... that would kill the game for me, and for those ppl brave enough to build an Xbow gladiator, a Pureknight Vampire, a LHW seraphim or "insert your own favorite combo here" "edit" after reading Birne's preview im fairly certain you will not find me on S3.

I have to agree, after buying sacred 2 gold ( so no bugging about serials etc ) I played up to level 12 .. maybe, and then I decided I try my hand at S1 again.. mannnnn did I miss my dwarf or what... I'm happy to say that Vertically_Challenged is back in bizz, with 1 small change.. no landmines this time but full on greed FT mortar and CB ... if only there was a easy way to get some MP going again ... already I've had to sell more set items than I care to recall .. including a near complete DE set....

Sacred has allways been a bit of a niche market, im not to worried about it. the real fan will buy it anyway, diablo 3 will loose its appeal at some point ( it never did appeal to me in the first place ) + I know some players who were playing diablo 3 and when they got bored they raced back to sacred.

Dwarf, hands down ... I want a rerun .. and I want Vertically_Challenged 2.0 ^_^ not to mention .. I miss my Flamethrower bbq ( with extra hot sauce )

not really bothered with clan membership I rather have some fun without restrictions

since my last post here I moved ( again ) .. I now live in an even smaller town called Loenen ( aan de veluwe ) ^_^

That's exactly what they did. They found out early on that the series was NOT going to be renewed for a 5th season. The ratings kind of sucked. People, I suppose were kind of burning out on the whole Star Trek thing - given it was like the 5th spin off of the original series. Not to mention, some of the story lines flew in the face of logic and reason - not to mention established cannon. I noticed that yeah, and there's an inappropiate amount of timetravel involved as well, still .. as a trekkie I want to see it to the end ^_^

Currently in the 4th ( and final ) season of Star Trek Enterprise, its more like a very very long movie now than seperate episodes, allmost like they really wanted to wrap it up and put in as much background story on how the federation came to be. every other episode is a follow up from the last, and the hits just keep on coming. when im done with that im going back to old school 4:3 and finally watch North & south in its entirety for the first time ( currently reading the book ) and of course try to get my weekly fix of NCIS/NCIS LA ^_^

I enjoyed it, had it on preorder for 2 months before it came out ( yes on steam ) and the best way to enjoy this game is play it like a new game dont expect everything you had in the original, its definitely dumbed down a bit however not in its AI... the enemies are brutal and you will have to be prepared to loose a soldier or 2.. or 3 ... or 4 ... on a single mission. it still has the original story line more or less, and there is even some base building involved, not as much as one would like but there is some

that depends on how much crap u put on your pc ... me im bein more carefull nowadays .. but browsing alone gives u stuff u dont want, even with all the high tech doodats and thingamagicks..they still get through

oh you mean the ones where I bought you out of your alderman position ? played some P4 again but it just doesnt have the appeal P3 had... still looking for something decent to replace that experience.. preferably within the hanze or VOC era, and dont start about east india company cuz thats pants beyond comparison ( no not gogo's pants ) Ps. Still cant find the editing function for my sig, if Gogo or schot would be so kind to alter ( remove ) 1 sentence id be much obliged

I'm using the free version and it's quite usefull, I dont care much for the full version but thats me. allways tight for money ... except when it comes to buyin new games

Hmm lurking *scratches head* nope not here, member no 10, and untill I stopped posting mostly active... On other fora tho, few had the appeal, not to mention the maturity ( oops mentioned it) I found here. Trolls, flamewars, and bieber vs onedirection battles are a bit to much to stomache on a regular basis

Hehe, I reviewed some of those vids today, unfortunately the software I used + all my raw footage has gone when my second to last pc died, and tbh every minute of footage took me an hour of filming editing and fitting to the music, but it was good fun :-) And I forgot about Ogame lol...

In an attempt to find out more about the upcoming Sacred 3 title I stumble on a site I once called home...and to my surprise I am still a member. Not that I remembered my password but after a bit of clicking I managed to get myself back on the forums. some things never change I noticed, allthough I have the silent hope gogo finally found his pants ^_^ a lot of questions pop up in my mind as I type this, like why did I ever stop coming here, and where have I been in the last 5 years. the first question is simply not possible to answer because I simply dont know, the second one however could fill multiple pages, but let me use some keywords instead World of Warcraft, Star trek online, and Starwars The old republic are a few reasons. another 500 games which had peaked my interest over the last 5 years are a few more, most of all the elder scrolls and the fallout series also a botched attempt to get back to school and the follow up short training I received to use what ive experienced in the past ( some of you know more about this ) and the following start of a new ( volunteer) job where I can put to practice all I have learned in the last years to help others have definitely taken up time. anyway to make a reasonably short story long, im back, sorta kinda, and allthough I lack any skills withing the realm of sacred 2 or diablo 3 ( for which I am glad tbh ) I'll be haunting the forums again with comments and a couple of laughs grtz DreDBanGeR ps. cant find my signature editor anywhere, but im no Clan DA member anymore ( prolly got kicked for inactivity ^_^ )
