Hello! Some of you might know that I'm studying for an IT developer. As my final project I'm making a game (the first lines of code will be written today). I know perfectly what kind of game I want, only problem I have is that I have no clue for a name for it >_<. You are probably wondering what on earth is a TRTS? The second part (RTS) is an easy one, as can be found al over the internet, it means real time strategy. The first part stands for "Tower". I'm bringing the tower defense genre back to its roots and then some. Simply said, I'm combining a tower defense with some (or more) RTS influences. One element that is going to be important for winning/loosing is going to be "crystal". Can anyone help me with getting a proper name for the game? Preferably with some link to crystal in it (Don't let that limit your imagination though). The word crystal isn't written in stone at all, if you come up with some word that sound like it's some kind of crystal, that could be even better then the generic "crystal". Thanks already, Arp

I think I'm going to buy D3 on release, only things which I don't like are the constant internet acces required, and the HUGE "no modding" signs they've been giving away. And I rather like mods. I had a couple really good ones for D2 years ago...

Your vacation won't be too long if you end up choosing for portal 2, it's not one of those games that have 1 billion different ways of solving. I'm not trying to stop you from buying it, far from that, it's a great game. It's not that much different I'm afraid. The storyline is a *lot* better made this time though. So if you really didn't like the first one, I can't suggest the second one. Arp

Are there any other players of this fantastic game out there? I finished the single player part a couple hours ago. I can't tell anything really about the story, because every single thing is a spoiler >_< But the game absolutely is worth it.

The thing is, if the increase in ffanspeed can't cool enough for preventing your CPU from turning into toast, your computer thinks that it is actually wiser to slow down the CPU (it's that or getting roasted)

You didn't download avgfree if it's asking you to pay or it stops doing anything. You probably downloaded a demo version of the avg full version (for wich you have to pay), the free is free, and stays like that. I've been using avg for a seriously long time now.

If it doesn't work the next time you try, just go back to your router and reactivate the rule, it keeps forgetting my applied rules over here. (or that is just my router or me)

Yep! Port problem is a bit strange. I have yet to join a game, but can create without problems... If we would be able to get together, it really might be fun to consider a move. Greetz I'm willing to play over there, but I really shouldn't do it this month anymore, I have exams starting tomorrow until begin february >_<

I was able to see 1 yesterday, with the CM patch installed. I opened 1 myself (after fixing the port forwarding problem) and my girlfriend was able to join.

You can't get to gold before beating silver, bronze is mostly for players who don't know the game yet, only moment I played in bronze was when the game was new and I was attempting some hard achievement with a hardcore character.

Based on the next picture she is 3 years old And names from left to right "Shoeki", "Margot" (the white kitten) , "She-who's-name-is-stupidly-forgotten-because-of-moving-to-other-people" (The gray kitten), "Sodan" and "Bobby". And I'm not going to try finding out how old the others are >_> My guesses: -Shoeki: 6 or 7 year -Sodan: 4 or 5 year -Bobby: 9 or 10 year I can be off by as much as 3 year for each of them

I started rereading it last week, can't read on now because of working on a project though. I do recommend it to everyone!

The slide is faulty too... SC2 x1 and SC2 phoenix are seen as two things, whereas for WOW x3 and WOW cataclysm it is seen as one thing... doesn't look like a minor error to me.

I'm getting used to the new layout, so that's a good thing Seems it was just my dislike for good old things who change who sprung up again... Do those like points go to the users too, or do they stay with the post who gets liked. So you get a reputation system for users in the end, where helpfull users with lots of good posts get a high reputation. (see titanquest.net)

It has nothing to do with that armor lore modifier, neither of the chars has armor lore. The bargainer has general skills (being bargaining and EP and other green skills), the other has none, thus don't get a benefit from +general skills. if it was + all skills, they both would get the benefit. now they both can equip the item, but only the bargainer would have an extra benefit from that specific line.
